I go paintballing outdoors in forests and fields and a lighter would be good to have, but i dont want to worry about it going off in my pocket. Id like one that has a lid AND locks closed. Im not completely comfortable with just a standard zippo lighter because i still feel it could open in my pocket and i could just lay down on the button. Suggestions?

I'm on my laptop now, which works fine wirelessly, and my internet is obviously working since im asking this, but my computer will not connect to the internet. Its connected by an ethernet cable to my router, and it says it is connected to the internet, but it will not load any pages, says its not connected on the multiple browsers i've tried, and im trying to download a game on steam, and it will work for a second after I start it up at 5mb per sec. and then just completely stop. What's the problem here because my computer thinks its connected fine.

I love Dayz but it's only compatible with PC. What would I have to do to get it running on my Mac?

I know .avi is supported by windows media player, but when I try to play .avi vids it says additional software is needed. It brought me to flip4mac, which says it supports WMV and .avi, and installed multiple times now, and it still will not play .avi vids saying they are in formats quicktime does not understand. What do I do?

I like to gel my hair up it the front, but it to look natural and soft, and not spiky, wet, or greasy. What should I use? I also don't want it to wear off after an hour, so basically what gives hair a strong hold but won't make it look spiked or wet.

I host a game server which opens in a terminal, but every time I launch it, it immediately disappears. I cant run my server with it doing this, so how do I fix this? Does it have anything to do with my RAM or Java?

My friend just had a $1000 computer built for him and it performs flawless and has very high quality internals, however its wireless internet is extremely slow. It uses a $40 wireless internet card a computer shop employee recommended (AKA nothing crappy. I have no idea specifically what type, brand, ect.), says it has 85% signal strength, 400mb/second download speed, and the only other thing connected to my friend's locked wifi source is his laptop, which runs fine on the wifi, so basically, everything should be right here. It defiantly does not have any viruses, and again has great internals and a standard functioning router. Whats the problem?

I want to make my pants and gloves waterproof. Is there anything I can buy to apply to them to make them permanently waterproof? I don't care if the feeling of the fabric changes.

Ive had it for over two years now and ive noticed it lags constantly and runs dramatically slower that when i bought it. It has more than half of its memory capacity free so its not because the memory's full, so whats wrong and what should I do? would getting it restored to factory condition help, and is there anything i can do myself?

ive been arguing with my friends over this, so i want to settle. this. my friend believes that after about 4 years in the naval academy, you have the option to train and become a navy SEAL. i do not believe this is all there is too it, because to qualify to join marine recon, you must serve as a marine first, and the same to be a ranger you must have experience in the field as an army private. from start to finish, what must be done to become a navy SEAL? im almost certain actual combat experience is needed, not just training alone.

i know there has been a study on how you should never drink water from water bottles that have been out in the sun due to the plastic and i was wondering can a plastic canteen have the same effect? i have a 2 quart one that is collapsable and seems very thin. should i be worried?

i have a canteen that after use is nearly impossible to completely dry and mold has grown in others ive had and im wondering if i keep it filled with salty water in storage will mold not grow? also i was thinking could i just store them in my freezer? not sure if mold will grow in below freezing temp. help please.

i know its dangerous but i have a little growing in my bathroom and i read vinegar and hydrogen peroxide both kill it but i want to know which it better. anyone know?
