  • How do you get nonstick spray off of baking pans?

I wash my cookie sheets after every use but I can't get the nonstick spray to come off once it has been baked. Now my pans have a nasty buildup of the spray. Is there something I can use to get it off?

  • How much does it cost to save a baby's cord blood?

I keep getting information in the mail but none of the companies tell you how much it costs. I am just looking for a ballpark figure.

  • Why are all the questions from 2 weeks ago?

I cannot load any new questions from Y! Answers. Everything that I see is already closed and were posted 2 weeks ago. Is there something wrong with the site or is it just me?

  • How can I get relief from Sciatica while pregnant?

I was injured in September 2008 and have been suffering from sacroiliitis and sciatica. I have recently started seeing a chiropractor and he has been able to get rid of most of the pain associated with it but my left leg still goes numb when I stand for more than 20 minutes.

I woke up this morning on my back. My leg was completely numb and it scared the crap out of me. I rolled over and went back to sleep and everything seemed back to normal when I got up for the day.

I had a massage this morning and laid on my back for that. Again, my leg went numb. I have read that the uterus can put pressure on the sciatic nerve and cause this, but I didn't think that it happened this early on (13w2d).

Now I can't stand, lay on my back, or lay on my stomach. Laying on my side is ok for a little while but eventually my back starts to hurt (even with the use of some pillows). Any recommendations on how to cope with this? Sitting up is my only viable option right now, but I really don't want to spend the next 6 months doing nothing but sitting! I am really struggling with things both mentally and physically (my husband is deployed so I have no help with anything). Any and all help is appreciated!

    Thanks!

  • What to do for Father's Day for a dad-to-be?

I am pregnant for the first time and want to do something special for my husband. He is in the Navy and has missed the first trimester, will be home most of the second, and will be gone for the third trimester, the delivery, and the first few months of the baby's life. He will be on duty (working the entire day) on Father's Day itself, but I really want to do something special the day before or something. Do you have any ideas?

  • How do I stop my puppy from biting on the leash?

I have a 4 month old JRT and she walks on a leash very well. She stays right next to me and doesn't pull or anything. The only problem is that she likes to bite the leash. Sometimes she just holds onto it as if she was holding her end of it (it's actually kinda cute) but sometimes she thinks it's time for tug-o-war. I always stop walking and wait until she drops it but she hasn't stopped doing it. Any suggestions?

  • Does selling artwork constitute a business?

I am an artist that creates a lot of different pieces. I'd like to sell my work but really am not interested in making a profit. Is it considered a business if I am just trying to recover the costs of the supplies? I live in VA and was just wondering what I would have to do to make it legit.

  • What is this lump under my puppy's skin?

I have a 4 month old Jack Russell and yesterday I found a hard lump on her back. It is the size of a silver dollar and moves with her skin. It doesn't seem to be causing her any pain or discomfort; she doesn't seem to notice when I touch it. What could it be?

  • Problems potty training puppy?

My puppy is 3 months old and I have been potty training her for about a month. She is really good early in the morning and at night but I am having problems with her during the day.

I can tell that she needs to go out at certain times so I take her out. The problem is that she likes to play outside. I will stay out with her for 20 minutes without her going and then as soon as I bring her in she messes in the house.

She has figured out that she if she scratches at the door I will take her outside, but she only does it when she wants to play. If she has to go to the bathroom she won't scratch; she'll just mess in the house.

Am I doing something wrong? What can I do to make her "tell" me she has to go out?

  • What is a good name for a female Jack Russell puppy?

I am getting a 10 week old, female, short haired Jack Russell puppy. She is brown and white, spunky, energetic, etc.

I usually choose odd names (geechiguy, xerxes, gazookie, goliath are former pet names) but I think I want something cute like Ella, Maggy, Gabby, or something of the sort. What are your suggestions for either cute or unusual names for a JRT?
