  • beekeeping question.?

My neighbor's boyfriend just moved his honey bee hives to her property yesterday morning, & my house is being swarmed. I read that he was supposed to keep them covered for couple of days, & he didn't do that. I read June was a bad month to move too. He says the bees shouldn't be bothering us, but they are swarming my a/c units & other places. I am a gardener and have never fear bees, but I developed a life threatening allergy to bees a few yrs ago. I still garden. In fact, I run a small perennial nursery, & I'm outside a lot. I'm just more aware of the behavior of bees, so that I don't invade their territory. I don't work in the same area that they are working in, etc. I've only been stung 3 times in 3 yrs, but always at someone else's yard. That is why I know these bees are agitated. I have a yard full of flowers, literally 100's blooming right now. Yet the bees are hanging around my driveway & a/c units. They are zooming us with close to the head flybys. Does anyone know how long it will be b4 they calm down? Is this usual with moving them? I don't know how far they were moved btw. We are all very tolerant of our neighbors here. I just want to know how long I should plan to stay inside. I have a helper coming to work in the garden that I need to schedule. Thx

  • Does blue cross blue sheild ga cover catheters as a prescrition?

I'm trying to decide on coverage to buy, & I need to know if my son's catheters will be charged $10 as with a prescription. Or will it be covered under something else & therefore we pay full price until we meet deductible? Also do u have any input on getting an hmo vs a ppo. PPO sounds better IF Blue Cross Blue shield network is large enough that I can go to hospital in nearby town instead of my closest hospital which is below par. Thx

  • Help with ankle & foot pain?

I tripped over an upside down broken step 5 months ago. It was covered with the summer's weed growth & I didn't see it at all. So I fell at full walking gate with both hands full. My foot dragged across the step, & therefore overextended my foot & ankle. I felt the pain in foot, ankle, calf, & hip. I did the RICE thing, but the ankle has felt reinjured many times with even the slightest turn. I asked the dr about it last week & he confirmed it was just a sprain. However, now I am getting intense foot pain in last few days. It is achy underneath where arch meets ball & on top where u can bend toes up. Then at times when walking or just stretching I get sharp pains shooting across & through the ball & top of foot. Any ideas on why & how I can keep from reinjuring?

  • Are there laws against a school social worker discussing parents financial state with students without parent?

Someone had left a check donation for my injured 22 yr old son with a social worker at my 12 yr old's last school. She called me, and I told her about the bad financial situation we are in due to his injury. She called his new school, and the social worker there gave him a form requesting Christmas assistance. That would be ok, but she didn't put it in an envelope, and she told him that it was a form to get him presents if we were having financial troubles. I called her saying she had no right to indicate to my 12 yr old that we were having financial troubles, and she argued with me saying she always does it that way. There has to be privacy laws against this, but I can't find them. Can anyone tell me plz so my letter to the principal will be correct. Thank you

  • How do I challenge a grade give to my son by a band teacher he turned in for violating school policy?

My son's band teacher allowed a 23 yr old man to ride the band bus, even after several band mothers complained that he was flirting with their daughters & making them uncomfortable. On a late night trip back from an event, this young man kissed a 16 yr old girl without her permission. My son was in the seat with her, so when he told me, I called the police. The band director was allowed to finish the year, but then forced into retirement.

Problem is I was surprised to find out that my straight A student got an F in jazz band! Principal is giving me run around saying he can't get in touch with teacher. It has been a month since I brought it to his attention.

I live in a small town in Ga, where the good ole boy system is still in effect. My first thought is write the governor who is enthralled in the Atl cheating scandal already. My question is what is the proper way for me to go about this. What is the correct procedure? I assume letter writing, but who should I address it to? I actually like our principal, but I'm sure he is dancing on legal issues here. All I want is a grade change, not to put him or the school board in trouble. So where do I start to let them no I mean business, but not necessarily trouble?

  • My husband laughed until he blacked out. What happened?

My husband laughed so hard he blacked out.

He is 48, 50lbs overweight (all in his belly), taking amolopidine (?) for high blood pressure. He hadn't eaten in 7 hours, and worked hard physically all day (as always). I'm quite sure he has sleep apnea, although we can't afford the sleep test. He had asthma as a kid, and for the last few years every cold he gets goes straight to his chest.

He was sitting in a lawn chair, laughing hard. His face turned dark red, and his chin fell to his chest. He was unresponsive to our neighbors for several seconds. They called my name. When I got to him, and called his name, he snapped out of it Then his pulse was 90. His skin was slightly ashen around his eyes, but he wasn't sweaty or clammy. He seems fine now. He walked through the garden several times, took shower, ate dinner. It has been about 2 hours.

Anyone know what this could be? Should I take him to the hospital? With a $5000 deductable, I would have to have a good reason to get him to go. He agreed to go to dr tmrw. Is that soon enough?

  • What cable do I need to hook my computer to my dvd player?

My dvd player has only coaxial, s-video and av cable connectors. The laptop I'm buying has •3 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x HDMI port, 1 x VGA port, 1 x RJ-45 Ethernet port.

Do I need to buy a newer dvd player? My tv is ancient having only a coaxial connector, so if I can connect to this dvd player it would be best.

    Thanks for your help.

  • need statistics on child sex abuse plz?

I need some help with statistics. I am meeting with principle of high school about a pervert who got to go on a band bus despite the fact that he had no kids on bus. He kept harassing the girls, and finally kissed one on mouth without her consent. She was 16. He is 23, and had no business on bus at all. I want to use stats to press upon these people how important it is to take this seriously and be more vigilant.

Seems like I heard one day that 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 10 boys are molested before the age of 18. Any one know the stats?

Furthermore, what charges should be pressed by girl's mom? What do you call it?

    Thanks

  • Got a Trojan alert "FakeAlert-FakeSpylenv.a". Now what do I do?

McAfee says I have a FakeAlert-FakeSpylenv.a Trojan virus, and cleaning failed. I clicked on the delete file button, but now I wonder if I did the right thing. It says it will delete on reboot. Did I do the right thing, or have I possibly doomed files I should not have deleted? Can and should I undo this delete command? It says the Name is C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\Local Settings\Application Data\otiuethjs\heltbhftssd.exe

Thanks for your help in advance.
