I would prefer to avoid commercial companies that sell these lists. I am hoping to use government resources to gather this information if this is even possible. I guess the big question is where do the companies that sell these lists get their information?

Utility companies?

The government?

The post office?

Realtors?

Others?

Briggs & Stratton 7HP Intek engine blowing oil from muffler, even with muffler removed. It's a light mist of oil. Intek model 122032. I pulled the spark plug and cranked a few times. No oil came out. I pulled the carb bowl and no oil is in the gas. I smelled the oil coming from the exhaust and there is no gas smell in the oil. I would like to do the repair myself, anyone know where I can get a service manual for this model or what the problem might be? My guess is I need a ring job.

I have looked for the federal budget online, but it does not go into enough detail apparently for me to isolate this expense. Where else can I get this information? Anyone know?

If I want to write a program that provides weather information, where can I get the raw data from? I will have customers from all over the country so I will need to be able to poll current weather at any given moment for any given area.

I can see how you can use customer names, search on customer names etc. But can I also use customer account numbers and then be able to EITHER search by customer name or customer account number?

Our company manufactures and sells flower vending machines to local florists. We find it best to find suitable locations for the vending machines first, then contact local florists in the area to see which ones want to buy a machine and place them in these locations. One venue we are trying to get into is large office building lobbies. We are based in Louisiana but we sell these nationwide. How can I find out what large office buildings are (for example) in Los Angeles and who to contact about trying to lease space in the lobby for our flower vending machine.

I tried contacting some realtors but they all say the amount of space we want to lease is too small for them to consider and that we must talk to the building ower/leasing people directly. Finding these buildings/owners/leasing people from out of state is our challenge.

Anyone have any ideas on how we can locate and contact these people by phone?

In IE how can you print a web page without printing the static menu that is on the left hand side of the page? Example web site like this is www.kioskvid.com. I want to print the page, but not the menu on the left. When I print it the menu on the left makes the page too wide to fit on a piece of paper. It ends up chopping off the right hand side of the page content.

My uncle has a company selling flower shops these new touch screen flower vending machines. What do you think of this idea. Flower shops buy the machines and then put them in nearby hospitals, hotels, office buildings, shopping malls etc. You can see a video of the vending machine on youtube (search for flower vending) or at www.kioskvid.com if you want to see how it works.

Is there a formula (preferably a calculator on the web) that can estimate the power lost over long extension cord runs? On the Sears web site they sell a 16/3 cord 100 feet long. It says 13 amps up to 50 feet and 10 amps up to 100 feet. So if I need to connect 4 of these to go 400 feet I want to know about how many amps I would really have available at the end. Also, I would like to do other calculations for going even longer distances up to 900 feet.

Somehow Corel Photo Paint is no longer the default image editor when I right click on an image in Corel Draw and click on "edit bitmap". Now when I click on "edit bitmap" inside Corel Draw it opens the graphic in Microsoft Windows Paint! How can I change it back to Corel Photo Paint?

I have a Powerpoint presentation that is shown from within Powerpoint. Currently if I click the mouse or press Page Down at the last slide then the presentation ends and it goes back to PowerPoint screen. Is there a way to force it to stay on the last slide even if I click the mouse or press page down? I only want it to leave the presentation if I press Esc or some other special key. This is because I have some hidden slides after the final slide that I may want to show, and sometimes I click and the presentation ends before I remember to hit 'H' to move to the hidden slides.

Surely there is some rough pricing out there on the cost to get it into orbit and the estimated annual costs to keep it there and running? Perhaps the type of satellite would make a bit diff in price. I am interested in a satellite that would simply receive and retransmit simple data packets of no more than 1 meg or 2 at a time. No video or streaming audio or anything like that.
