My wife and I drink wine. We used to have a problem with the cork. Corked wine and the struggle etc. but since the screw top all is O.K.

Now I cannot see why everyday drinking wine that we have has to be in glass bottles.

Why not plastic bottles as water bottles?

Taking the glass bottles to the bottle bank I don't need. I would rather put them in the recycling bin.

Glass is dangerous.

ABS.was designed for articulated lorries to prevent jackknifing.

All it has done is to give the motorist an expensive unecessary expense. Particulary in the failure of the reluctore ring which is a £15.00 item which costs hundreds to replace. I suppose that is their game to use problematic systems that cost the motorist dearly. Cars have aways run perfectly well without ABS. but now the motorist is being severely punished.

I contacted a large mobile home outfit and and all that the young woman could tell me was that it was because of the local council.

I need to know why the local council do this. It all seems a bit petty to me.

I have a main computer which I call my wife's and a laptop which I call mine.Unfortunately we have the same email address for both. This means that my wife gets all the plumbing, golf and football on her computer and I get all the dresses and perfumes etc on mine. It's pot luck really. What I need to do is to get another email address for my laptop then inform my contacts so that the relavant information gets to the right computer.

How do I set up a new email for the laptop without altering the email on the main computer?

A lady I have done work for is moving house ( downsizing ).In her loft were 300 back issues of Private Eye Mag. from 1963 to 1993. There are seven complete years.

Also there are 39 issues of Lilliput mag. from 1947 to 1954. 1 complete year 1950.

And many back issues of Which mag. 1958 to 1979. along with Oldie Mags. including issue No.2.

Can anyone help with moving these on for her.

A few questions.

Footballers are falling lame with groin strains.

I think that Spurs have 5 players out with this complaint at this moment.

What is a groin strain?

Why do footballers suffer from it?

How do they get it?

Why can it not be treated?

They have sent their players to the best specialists in Britain, Europe and now America and yet they have players who have been unavailable since last year.

I guess I will have to put this question in the medical and football sections.

If it has been asked before then I apologise but I haven't seen it.

Am I the only person to visit the above two sites to have noticed that some 90% of questions relating to domestic boiler problems are asked by people who are concerned about their combi. boiler.

I wonder if they still think that combi's. ar a good idea.

We are having a change this year and my wife has ordered a crown of turkey from the local butchers (use them or lose them.). so no instructions for cooking etc . Anybody with any good ideas for cooking and presentations will be much appreciated.

How can Greyhound Buses only charge £1.00 fare each way from Portsmouth to London? Even if the bus is full it is never going to cover the cost of fuel, wages and overheads.

I need to buy a flat plate solar panel for a water heating solar system that I have planned for my bungalow on the South Coast. When I go on the the web. their are hundreds of sites offering panels of this type but when you log on they only offer complete kits or free quotations to install. I don't need this as I am quite capable of building my own kit and installing it. I intend to start with one panel around 2m. square and add others later.
