Would Charles Manson make the perfect democratic candidate for 2016?
He seems to epitomize their values
14 AnswersPolitics9 years agoSo, is this conspiracy theorist where Jared Loughner learned his rhetoric?
He's all about the "new language syntax" that we will be "forced to adopt" after the "2012 apocalypse".
Check out THIS conspiracy theory nutball who makes Alex Jones look like Walt Disney.
When you see it, it should be very clear.
10 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWill it ever be revealed what Jared Loughner yelled before shooting....and...?
Why hasnt it leaked out yet. Several news sources said he reportedly yelled something before he started shooting. What do you think it was? Why hasnt it leaked yet from witnesses?
In the Columbine massacre, the media never let us hear the 911 tapes as the 2 shooters asked a few victims if they believed in Christ and then shot them when they said "yes".
In the Ft Hood shootings, the media still wont talk about how the guy yelled "Alaah Akbar" before shooting.
So given the weirdness of this whole mess...what do you think he shouted out? Do you think we will find out?
7 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoSay, Has anyone seen the guy who used to post in here named JARED?
And do you think possibly he may have been.....THE Jared?
2 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIsnt it noble of (so called) actor Ben Affleck to lecture about greedy corporations?
in his NPR interview, yet he never mentions the gigantic salaries paid to "celebrities"?
Ben Affleck makes 37 Million dollars a year (for some reason).
AFFLECK: That speaks so perfectly to people's feelings about our country. It's like it's just about getting by, or people can like let people go if they can get away with it, that there's no deeper sense of right or wrong. The banks shouldn't -- people shouldn't make such a giant profit off just moving money back and forth. And CEOs' pay shouldn't be 200 times the average worker. It used to be nine times.

17 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoFollow Up Q: Why hasnt the media reported on this other "green energy" FAILURE?
Five years ago, New Labour heralded them as the modern, clean and green way to heat your house. As a result, today there are already eight million ‘condensing boilers’ in homes across Britain. In fact, since 2005 it is illegal to fit any other kind.
At the time, John Prescott claimed they would massively reduce your carbon footprint and slash your fuel bills. As a result, every year some 1.2 million old-style ‘dirty’ boilers are scrapped in Britain and replaced by this wondrous new variety.
However, the recent cold snap has revealed a major problem with them. Tens of thousands of people found themselves shivering as their shiny new boilers cut out without warning.

1 AnswerPolitics1 decade agoWhy hasnt the media reported about this example of "green energy" FAILURE?
Whitelee wind farm near Eaglesham in Lanarkshire which, at 140 turbines, is the largest of its kind in Europe – however, Whitelee and its like are being criticised by sceptics who say the recent cold, still weather has challenged wind power’s output claims. (The Scotsman and Iberdrola)
Scotland’s wind farms froze up in the record freeze this month forcing the government to rely on power from French nuclear plants.
The Scotsman reported:
SCOTLAND’S wind farms are unable to cope with the freezing weather conditions – grinding to a halt at a time when electricity demand is at a peak, forcing the country to rely on power generated by French nuclear plants.
Output from major wind farms fell to as low as 2.5 per cent of their potential generation capacity during the cold snap as power demand rose to close to the highest level yet recorded, new figures have revealed.
10 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoAre you ready for the pat down system to come to malls and hotels in the US?
How far is too far?
The United States is stepping up security at “soft targets” like hotels and shopping malls, as well as trains and ports, as it counters the evolving Al-Qaeda threat, a top official said Sunday.
A year after a foiled plot to bomb a US-bound passenger plane, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told CNN’s “State of the Union” program that other places and modes of transportation must now be scrutinized.
“We look at so-called soft targets — the hotels, shopping malls, for example — all of which we have reached out to in the past year and have done a fair amount of training for their own employees,” Napolitano said.

8 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoOur local news station in a large south Texas city ran weepy stories about homeless people and?
older sick people and how these people were down, out and on the skids. The city says that the funds have been utilized for this year and not much help will be in the works anytime soon.
Some were old, some were sick, some were homeless and poor, but they looked like...Americans.
The state of Texas shells out 10.5 Billion a year to cover the cost of jailing illegals, educating the children of illegals, and various social welfare programs for illegals.
Why do liberals favor aiding illegal invaders instead of American citizens? And since amnesty was voted down (yet AGAIN) why haven't the deportations started?

12 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoAn Austrian court agrees that yodeling offends muslims, so there is to be no more?
yodeling...in AUSTRIA.
If Muslims in Austria don't like yodeling or find it offensive, then why are they in Austria (pretty much yodeling territory)?
Why do muslims insist everybody bend to their wishes?
It seems as though in Austria, the popular yodel is an insult to Muslims.
An Austrian court has recently fined a citizen for yodeling while mowing his lawn, according to a report in The Kronen Zeitung newspaper.
The citizen, 63-year-old Helmut G., was told by the court that his yodeling offended his next-door Muslim neighbors, who accused him of trying to mock and imitate the call of the Muezzin.
