Those products may be stereotyping, but they are hardly racist. The last time I checked, to be racist someone must believe that their race is superior to another or a product would have to suggest that one race is superior to another. I don't see how having a fictitious black representative for your product, suggest that you think blacks are inferior or superior to other races.

If using a black figure as your promotional symbol is racist, then I guess it is. Maybe we should only have white figures like Mr. Clean and the jolly green giant, then they'll say THAT is racist.

are you trying to justify the actions of people who quite possibly could be racist by trivializing their acts with an inanimate object that does not think or make decisions?
