Reality can be so difficult to digest. Among many other things, I've been a Writer for more than 40 years. I'm also an artist/explorer/ theatrical genius, and my passions, while narrowly focused, are intensely engaged in. One PASSION in particular, a "Winged Gift" , ALDARA, a WildFlower is always "engaging", and as much inspiration as one could possibly hope for. "LOVE" is a most fitting sensation, in her case, and our situation. Sometimes I think I know, what I know I think I do, and then at other times, I'm just OK with what is, without overthinking, what I think I know,,,I think? "Wink" That doesn't disregard that we ALL dream, and we should follow them to the extreme if possible. "To deny ones passions is to risk losing them." It might be called "ACTING" but it relates to WORK. Just my 2 "scents" Cents Sense "The woods are lonely, dark and deep and I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep."

  • May I have your opinion?

    Thank you.

The entry drew me in almost as strongly as a Red Carpet laid down

and I was in awe that this show had come to my town.

In the area there were large spotlights flashing,

music being played with drums and Cymbals crashing.

Once inside I caught my breath as if shocked by the electric

as my senses were assaulted by so many things eclectic.

Greeted and escorted as if this what "celebrity" was all about

I had the the elated feeling that this was heaven no doubt.

Euphoria was interrupted, a voice chimed, "Can I help you at all?"

It was as like an Actor called out to a second curtain call.

I said "Thank you", and smiled, "but I'd like to take it slow"

"After all I'm a guy and I'm in a new Home Depot."

  • A Eulogy Burned In Efigy?

A Final Foray I hope and pray

"Crashed and dashed; sliced from right ear to left nipple, this verbal cripple, feeling the ripples of discontent, after paying life's dues and Y/A rent; dismounts his poetic steed, weary and wary of further need and moves on."

As someone I love with all my heart just reminded me, every sandbox can be infested with Fleas.

  • To Be or Not to Be. What kind of question is that?

I am lately finding my life in sheaves of paper stored

some seem most organized, others scattered on my writing room floor.

Scraps, and fluff and useless random stuff most would likely say,

erratic, often unfinished notes in a life lived day to day.

Odd those pieces most unfinished, questionable words and lines

left laying about looking like trash, as if I didn't have time,

to complete a thought, or my time was bought, often otherwise

then slipped away unspent for other pursuits is mostly what I surmise.

Perhaps it is a writers lot to scribble while they scrambled

to it's end in many respects it will seem like I merely rambled.

When my works lie gathering dust, yellowing pages old

I wonder if the world might know I had a story to be told?

  • Wondering about Meta "for"?

It's just the Saturday fights, and I don't need one of my own.I'm just not ready for Tutu's, I'm comfy sitting at home.

Take the keys to the car and my credit cards, stop madly hopping

and just go enjoy a night of shopping.

I'll take you to the Ballet another day my dear, and by the way

while you're in the kichen will you bring me another beer?

  • What say you? Just working my way back.?

Once, and if possible, we dismiss all negative belief,

we can attain or know levels of relief,

that supplant all the needs to rave and rant in a

"woe is me" sense, even while retaining some defense against

slings and arrows, which may all be shallow in fact

  • Why, might this be the case?

Why do people post to this or any category not expecting that they may not read what they want to read?

Is it so difficult to believe that to ask, "Do you like it?" might get some responses that say "No" without you wondering or questioning why? AND not strictly take an answer as a personal attack?

Are some so thin skinned or fragile that they cannot accept "No"?

OK it was worth 5 points to ask.

  • More a statement than a question?

To all, and now in the poetry category, I am seeing a large # of answers offering a link that also states verbiage such as "too much to type here, perhaps this link can help?

Various ID names and some minor changes in the text of the response, but all basically "manure" in the least fragrant sense.

  • Question about Removing a Program?

I've acquired a computer, no longer in use, which actually includes Windows Vista. The problem however is that the computer is password access other than guest which disallows much of it's useful value.

I'm not interested in an opinion regarding Vista, just any suggestions of the possibility of making the comp. a viable, workable piece of equipment for me.

I can have the drive formatted and install my version of XP, but I'm looking for other alternatives.

  • WOW! An actual Youtube category here?

I use Youtube often, and lately notice an occasional message/popup, that vanishes before I can check it out.

Essentially the question is this. Some of Youtube, (music) videos, which is the only place I go, show a circle, traveling dots like a clock, Buffering it seems, while others don't

I assume it's some "reader" program I need to upgrade, or Real player, etc. yet I don't know which, and it is mildly annoying as is.

Any "valid" advice will be appreciated. Thank you.

  • Yahoo and so many "coffee breaks"?

I've asked this before, but still don't get it. I also follow news about Yahoo, and their issues, and happy in some way, I don't own stock.

A "Breather" please explain if you can, why this happens multiple times per day,

    Big sigh.

  • Removing "Programs" ?

I'll admit to being tech challenged, by I can walk and chew gum at the same time, without a great deal of thought.

I'm trying to rid my small hard drive of un-needed "STUFF"

My Q is,,, Windows/ MS often does updates/upgrades, on occasion, and accepting them seems logical. They end up as titles in ALL PROGRAMS,. but show no MEGS used. Some are as far back as 2 or 3 years. Can I remove them without essentially doing damage?

I'd be very Ok taking the comp to the curb anyway, but for now, want some free space. I have adequate programs for spam, and virus issues, I just want to rid myself of things I don't use or need.

My lady love says "A Clean HD is a happy HD."

    Thank you in advance.

  • Any OLD timer, Joe Cocker fans in here?

I have done as much general searching as I have time for, given that "Joes" catalog runs over 100 titles and listing of lyrics.

I'm asking for a song title, or a link to the lyrics that revolve around a ballad. It is not at all upbeat, nor likely one of his better know works, but it matters to me.

The lyric, last line of the specific song is,,, pardon if I happen to be paraphrasing,,,

"It takes a whole lotta medicine, for me to believe (pretend) I'm somebody else."

Thank you to any valid suggestions.

  • A question regarding a quote. Mark Twain perhaps?

I'll make every effort to make this unserstandable, and without question. I have to paraphrase, and it isn't a school assignment, but relevent to me, in many ways.

"When I was young (a # perhaps?) I thought my father was the most ignorant man I knew. When older (again a # year perhaps?) I found that he was catching up to me."

  • A Question about Hyper-Text?

I clicked a non virus link to a short video, regarding PETA. I wanted to save it to short cut on my main screen. Instead it went to a Hyper-Text thing, on the main screen, and now I cannot delete it from its location.

When it did happen it also re-arranged the icons on screen and hi-lighted all of them.

I've reduced the Hypertext as small as it will go, did the CCcleaner thing, have 3 security programs installed otherwise, and yet cannot get rid of this. Any suggestions? Thank you.
