3 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoI cannot get the Bing Toolbar off my Internet Explorer?
HELP! I have Windows 7 and Internet Explorer, and I cannot get BING off, which came already instaled. I've gone into Internet Settings and disabled it. I've right-clicked on it, and it's only given me options like copying, pasting, and changing left-to-right reading order. It still stays when I click for more info that Bing is my default. I downloaded the Google toolbar, but, every once in a while, Bing "rules over" Google and takes me back to Bing.

I think it begins with a B and it's very, very long. Somebody pointed out a store to me when we were traveling. I think it has 20-something letters or more.

I think McDonalds does the Monopoly thing in the fall . . I was wondering if there were any contests from any fast food chains in May. Didn't hear of any.
1 AnswerFast Food1 decade agoEvery time I type in my Vista document, a red line appears under the red letter?
If I backspace, the letter I had typed turned red with a slash through the middle. I've tried closing out the document, pressing and unpressing the "strikethrough" button on the toolbox, and nothing helps. Does anybody know what button I've accidentally hit to get it to do this?

2 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoIs it normal for my computer to have 75 processes running? My computer is almost out of GB?
I use CCleaner regularly, wiping out all internet footprints, have Norton Antivirus, and have my computer stripped a lot to the "bare bones" and still when I try to watch a program online or on my Itunes account it has numerous freezes, sometimes just absolutely constantly so it's like a slideshow. I have Wireless and didn't use to have problems. Also, surfing is now super slow. What can I do? My computer often says it's at 100% CPU usage when I try to watch a show, and it always says 85% of its physical memory is taken up, though I can't imagine by what. Anything I can put on a flashdrive I have. What could be going on?
1 AnswerOther - Computers1 decade agoBlack and white movie about a rich boy who falls on a ship and learns how to be polite/work in society?
I remember watching this black and white movie as a kid. Something like a really rich boy is eating all these ice cream sundaes, and he gets sick and falls on board this ship. The ship doesn't discover him until they're out to sea, and he has to wait until they get back. One man really likes him and takes care of him, but I think the crow's nest falls on him and he ends up dying. Anybody know what movie I'm talking about?

2 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoI'm looking for a short story about an older woman, young man, and young woman on a bus, in mag. 20-30 yrs ago?
This is a stretch, but I've found some pretty amazing answers on here before. It is a short story in a magazine, I think Good Housekeeping, about a young man who is admiring an older woman's beauty on a bus. Then a younger woman gets on the bus, who's gorgeous. But the young man keeps his attention on the older woman, to honor her. She says thank you or something when she leaves the bus.
1 AnswerBooks & Authors1 decade agoWhat are those buildings called, in every country, where Americans can go if they need help?
I think ambassadors live in them. Like, if you have passport problems you go to this place. For some reason, the name has been eluding me.
