Hello everyone,

yesterday I bought my very first guitar. I was trying to play some notes, but i really can’t figure out how to like “play the strings” (if that’s how you say it).

Basically I was trying to play the D one: I put my fingers in place, but I can’t understand which strings I have to play? Can you help me out? I’m gonna start attending a guitar course in September, but I’dlike to start off by myself. Thank you.

I know he used the “cut out” one for some songs, but did he have other techniques?

Stardust (movie about David Bowie) is coming next year. I don’t approve the making of this film because David himself said he didn’t want any movies about him and his family doesn’t like the idea either.

I, personally, know the reasons why I wouldn’t want a movie about my life... but I wonder why David didn’t want one either. What were his motives?

It was about a earthquake in San Francisco I think, there was this casino with a few “casino girls” (yknow, those girls at the casinos who act like “strippers”) and some survivors, the building is completely destroyed so some rock fragments fall from the ceiling and hit a casino girl who immediately dies. Meanwhile the some soldiers in a chopper land on the casino’s roof and try to save people in there.

Okay so there's a girl who I like and I met her a couple of months ago. Lately she's been so absent and idk she like doesn't reply that often. She's never been the kind of girl who replies early with me but yesterday one thing happened. She replied to a text I sent her 1 day ago and I replied to what she said. Now she has posted a few stories yet she hasn't seen/replied to my text. What should I do?

After days of a nice online conversation with a girl, I send her an affermative ironic sentence. She sees the text yet she doesn't reply.

What does that mean? Should I wait for her to answer (it's already been 1 day since then)? Or should I text her? If so, what should I tell her?

Quando devo scrivere, per esempio, "Spero che tu stia bene" dovrei dire "I hope you are doing well" oppure "I hope that you are doing well" come in italiano???
