So I bought a 2006 Jetta 2.5 5 Cylinder, with 115,000 Miles, I bought it from the auction, and I knew that cars from Auctions can not be guaranteed, but I did like the car and it does not have any mechanical issues, except for the windows issue.

Ok so I will explain as much as I can. The driver side window doesn't come down at all, or in other word, the whole master windows panel on the river side doesn't work except for the button for the back left side window which works from the driver panel.

Anyways, just an hour ago, I was playing with the panel to see if I can get it to work, but actually I got the driver window to come down but never went up again, I almost broke my fingers with no luck.

Note: The mirror buttons do not work either!

so the whole panel pretty much does not work.

Oh, one more thing, sometimes all 4 windows come down in their own (Duhh!!!) and sometimes the passenger side button doesn't work on the passenger door, but if I play with the driver side master panel, then the passenger window button works fine again!

I did a little research and found that there is a lot of windows and wiring problems with the 2006 Jetta TDI, but mine is not TDI, so I don't know what to do, I am freaking out and afraid that it will cost me a lot, and sometimes I think that I can fix it myself but I am not that proficient so I won't risk it!

Please give me some suggestions if you know!

So this is the third MacBook pro retina 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD laptop I am exchanging!

All three I brought home , and they work perfectly except for the trackpad .

I will explain as much as I can:

So let's say I left my MacBook for about 10 seconds, then I come back to swipe up or down using the trackpad, it lags or doesn't respond right away!!! Only when k first touch the trackpad to swipe, but after first touch it works fine until I leave it again and come back and same thing !

I can feel that the trackpad locks after a few seconds of leaving the MacBook running, or it goes on sleep, and first touch awakes it,

I have tried many things , such as SMC, system preferences , and reinstalling the OS , but didn't work!!

Please tell me of that is normal or if I just happen to get a defective laptop three times!

Because I honestly don't want to go back to the store again,!!

My OS is 10.9.3

so I purchased a MacBook Pro a month ago which is the base Retina model (4GB Ram, 128 GB SSD) but I exchanged it yesterday with the medium model (8GB RAM, 256GB SDD) and when I came back home, I noticed that the OS version read 10.9 but the worst thing was that the MacBook did not turn on, the battery was completely dead, so I had to plug it in and charge it first, but is that really usual that Apple Products' batteries are drained?? Now I do own an iPad, iPhone, and the MacBook Pro that I exchanged with this one, and none of them had Zero (0) Battery life when first turning it on, all of my Apple devices came with at least 70% battery!

Well that is not the issue alone, after I plugged it in, I turned it on, and was setting it up, just like any other new Apple first use product, and before I get to put my Apple ID, the screen goes completely black, Duh!! so I had to press the Power button again, and the screen came back on to the previous screen!

I am sorry that my question is pretty long or my explanation is long, but I am really worried. Now I do appreciate that Apple let me exchange it even after the 14 days period has ended but I do not want a defective Mac, since I paid $1499.99

Please let me know if I have to go and replace it back, since it came with an old version of OS X (10.9) not (10.9.2) so I am assuming that it might've been a refurbished one that they gave me so they get rid of it! Or it was sitting for a long time without getting sold basically.

So I started working at a small business as a sales person, but the boss told me that they will give me a 1099 Form.

I did a research on the difference between 1099 and a W-2, and kind of found that a 1099 could be a rip-off, I really want to make sure if the 1099 is a good thing for my future (retirement) meaning, if I pay my own taxes, is it then going to be like a W-2?

Please explain to me what the difference is in short and if it is a good option!

I can still refuse my boss' job offer if it is bad for me, but I am really interested in the job, and he likes me to work for him since I already made some sales.

So I pretty much watched every World Cup since 1998, but for World Cup 2014, I do not know where to watch it since I do not have cable, and I really do not want online links that are so slow.

I called Comcast and told them straight up that I only want the ESPN package for ONLY two months, and they said that they have to charge me installation in that case!

So any Cable Services that I can get for one or two months that are not that expensive??

I purchased a MacBook Pro 13 Inch Retina Display last week or so, and I noticed that it is really causing pain to my eyes and causing me headaches and eye strain, now I did check all the resolution and brightness, but nothing really seemed to work!

Please note that I put a screen protector on it a couple of days ago, so I was wondering i that is the issue?

Also if I go and return it or exchange it, should I get the MacBook Air Non Retina or Pro Non Retina??

Please give me some advice here since I am suffering from headaches, and I am not sure if it the screen protector or the Built-in Retina Display that is causing it!

I bought a MacBook Pro Retina Display Late 2013, and I have had it for almost two months now, but the thing is I just noticed this morning that the battery was all drained after I put it on sleep for more than a day, I can say maybe 30 hours, and the battery was at like 60% before putting it to sleep. I have never had this for the two months that I owned it, however, I also realized that it might have been affected due to the load of emails I have gotten last night (like 250+ emails) from twitter, Facebook, school, work and other emails.

I did check the energy settings and everything seems to be fine (the nap settings is disabled so my Mac doesn't do anything while sleeping) that is why I am concerned, I really do not want to bring it back to Apple, but it sucks if I have to!

So someone sent me a direct message with a link to get a lot of followers , a link that looks like this twitterfollowers.mobi , so I kind of clicked on it and signed up with twitter, but the thing is I keep getting a lot of messages with bunch of websites that want you to subscribe and get followers. Now please tell me how to get rid of it, I really don't want that many followers , and this is not the issue alone, but I am following some professional people, like professors, coworkers and they keep on getting those messages with links from my twitter account, and I keep deleting the messages but I get a lot more from people I don't know!

Please help me or guide me how to get rid of those links whether received or sent messages !

here is what happened to me:

I was in Virginia coming back home to Massachusetts, driving on I-95 North (my family in the car with me) and all of a sudden my car swerved to the left (my left tire blew out) on I-95 , luckily I was in the very left lane, so I pretty much avoided a possible death because I tried to not hit anyone else, or not to jump out of the Highway, ( it was dangerous) , so I ended up hitting the very left fence of the highway , my left front of the car got damaged pretty badly, so I called Police and my AAA, I got ticketed for a reckless driving, the cop said it is the law that every at fault accident is considered a reckless driving in Virginia, but anyways just last week I was facing that Misdemeanor in VA, but thank God I won the case and it was all dropped!, but now I have a hearing date for my surcharge points since I appealed right away a few months ago right in the same day I received the surcharge notice !

I know that single car accident appeal is tough to beat, but I really couldn't control or couldn't prevent it from happening, plus I really didn't hurt anyone nor damaged anything but my car.

I got surcharged with 4 points, and my hearing date is pretty close in June, so please give me some advices or hints, plus I do have all documents, pictures, and a note from the car dealership stating that the tire was blown as a result of running over something on the road!

2.4 GHz up to 145 Mbps or up to 300 Mbps

5 GHz up to 145 Mbps or up to 300 Mbps?

the default was 300 Mbps for 5 GHz and 145 Mbps for 2.4 GHz, but I changed the 2.4 from 145 Mbps to 300 Mbps.

Please answer if you know because I am a bit confused about this router thing

Also any recommendation on changing the Channels?

So three months ago I was driving from VA back to Boston via I-95 North , my driver side tire blew out, and I couldn't anything but hit the left shoulder of the highway (very left) but I didn't kill anyone nor hurt anyone nor hit another car) and not even speeding I was at 60 on a 70 .

So my lawyer said that we can reduce it to "improper driving" but I refused since it was not my fault (technically) so she said they might offer me "defective equipment" which I liked better. But actually I my lawyer came out saying that I got a "nolle prosequi " and she said it is dropped and much better than other offers!

So my question is ,

Is that true?? That nolle prosequi is a lot better than those two offers above? And do I have anything to worry about?

By the way I only damaged my car basically , but I hit the sign in the very left side of the highway but no major damage of property !

I am on the market for buying a MacBook for school.

I went to Apple Store stayed there for an hour playing with the 13-inch Pro with and without Retina.

I liked the Non-Retina display for a fact that it has a DVD Optical Drive, and a 500 GB regular HDD, and the Ethernet port I believe, but I hated the fact that it is heavy, thicker and the HDD of course will keep on spinning and will cause heat and noise.

13 inch with Retina, I liked it also for the fact that it is lighter, thinner, better screen, but I hated that it doesn't have a CD/DVD drive, Ethernet Port, nor much of Storage, it only has a 128 GB Flash Solid State Drive (which I love but not a 128 GB), because it simply is not enough, however I do use a lot of online Storage such as the Box, DropBox, OneDrive.. etc. so it is very quite

What would I use Mac for??

Like I said for school, but here is a list of what basically I want it for:

Microsoft Office

Adobe Products (i.e. DreamWeaver)

Watching Movies, shows ..etc

Burning CD's (not that important since I have a Desktop PC)
