In the movie "Knowing", a scene predicted the Gulf Oil Spill about a year before it happened! It even got the date right! How did the directors do this. I mean this is crazy.

I've heard that the oil peak is going to be reached this or next year. And from here the amount of crude is going down. After all this is finished up, what will humans use? Crude is so reliable and easy to use. I can't imagine a world with people relying on light and water as their everyday "gas". What is the world planning to do? I really hope scientists are coming up with ideas for things that could replace crude oil because its going to be all used up in 20-25 years!

I know recycled stuff can be re-used but how does it actually help Earth?

I have googled the theory of relativity and have read information about it on many links and I still don't get the meaning or concept of it. Could someone please explain to me what it is and how it is related towards objects in the universe?

So I have heard a lot of theories concerning the end of the world in 2012. One of those is a magnetic pole shift. If this happens, there will be no magnetic fields around our planet and solar storms and other harmful rays could get into our planet.

But then I though about a round magnet. In this case the magnet is our planet. It has the same type of field pattern as Earth. So then I thought, the field wouldn't just disappear if the poles were switching positions. It would still be there at the same strength just in a different formation. Would that apply to all planets?

So that's my question. Wouldn't the magnetic fields surrounding our Earth still be present if a pole shift does happen? What do you think about this? Am I onto something? Or is this just a silly thought?

(Please don't make fun of my idea, I'm not that good in science)

The other day, I was walking towards a group of birds on the street and as I approached them, they all scattered in different directions. This made me wonder if they are afraid of humans. This also led me to think about other wildlife animals. Us humans slaughter a bunch of animals for their meat and we hunt many other animals for their body resources. So I want to know what you think about other animal's thoughts about us.
