If given the option, would you prefer being a financial adviser for an international company or a trader at a small investment bank?

And why?

For me:

1. Funny (You have to be able to take my sarcasm and fire back.)

2. Intelligent (I went out with a girl who unintentionally walked up the escalator the wrong way and didn't realize it until 20 seconds after... HILARIOUS, yet a turn off at the same time.. go figure)

3. Kind/considerate (A couple consists of two people, not one.)

4. Family oriented (You have to be cool with your family.)

5. Looks (Shallow? Maybe, but that's how nature is. The prettiest peacock, the fiercest ram, the most colorful parrot, and the lion with the biggest mane will always get the girl.)

However, there isn't anyone that I have met who possesses all five. So far, anyway.

With all other things remaining the same, would you prefer a hot face with a below average body or a hot body with a below average face?

And everything is static, so the guy with the pretty face cannot work on his body to bulk up and the guy with the hot body cannot get surgery on his face.

If you went out to lunch or some type of day date with a guy, would you consider that to be a legitimate date or a friend zone type of date?

There's a train speeding down the tracks. Off in the distance are 40 workers on the railroad who will surely die if nothing is done about the situation.

You cannot stop the train, but you can pull a lever that reroutes the train down another set of tracks. However, down these tracks are more workers, but only 5 of them. You can pull the lever and kill 5 workers or leave the lever alone and let 40 workers die.

What do you do, kill or let die?

If you pull the lever, are you saying that you can justify killing by the saved lives?

If you leave the lever alone, are you saying developed countries are responsible of the deaths in developing countries due to the lack of water, food, and medical supplies given to them?

Your wealthy boss asked you to go down to the dock and purchase "The Vendetta", a large yacht, for him or her.

However, once you got there, you saw two seemingly identical yachts. When you asked which one is "The Vendetta," the person attending the dock said, "It depends." When "The Vendetta" docked, a few parts on the ship needed replacing but the crew went ahead and replaced all of the parts on the yacht with completely new parts. That yacht is on the left.

However, the crew thought it would be a waste to throw away the old parts so they reconstructed the ship with the original parts to look exactly as it did when it originally docked, hence the yacht on the right.

You were a male in the army and your commanding officer ordered you to rape a female prisoner?

Would you do it?

If you didn't, you would be physically punished and dishonorly discharged and someone else would step into your place and do it anyway. And say the commanding officer has immunity if you try to take legal action afterwards.

If you did, you could at least take it easy on the prisoner and cause as little suffering as possible but you would have commited a crime and go against your morals and ethics.

What would you do?

First off, let me say that I personally don't believe in God, heaven or hell but I wonder what those who do think about this.

If the the universe is ever expanding and the earth is in the Milky Way, one of over 100 billion galaxies in the universe, then the chances of life outside of earth are very likely. So if there are life forms outside of earth, are these life forms allowed passage into heaven and hell?

If yes, then you believe that you when you die, you'll meet a bunch of alien life forms in your afterlife?

If no, then why are these life forms not allowed into heaven if they are also "God's children?"

Also, if God supposively created the universe, then are you saying that these life forms believe in Christianity to the exact methods of humans here today? Did God also pass down his commandments to these life forms? Did Jesus also die for the sins of these life forms? Or did God have another son for this distant planet?

I'm looking for more exotic tie bars/clips than the regular silver bar going across with a design or two. Morgan Freeman wears plenty unconventional ones in "Wanted" but I can't find any of them anywhere.

I'm currently have an all white fedora, but I'm looking for a white fedora with a red band.

I've been searching everywhere, Amazon and even eBay to no avail.

Do you know where I can find one?

Or even better, do you know if the band on the fedora can be replaceable? And if so, how? I've looked at it but I didn't want to take it off only to find out I can't put it back on.

I have a white fedora with a white band along with a white suit.

Wear a red tie and red pocket hankerchief and try to find a white fedora with a red band?

Say you're a wife and have been married to your husband for over 10 years. Then a war erupts and your husband is drafted to fight overseas. Just weeks into the war, you receive notice that your husband is killed in action.

I've been wearing one all week with my suit. I wore a brown fedora with my brown shirt/black tie and a black one with my black suit. I've gotten mixed responses, just wondering what others think.

I consistently hit around 3,500 and I was just wondering if that could have a negative effect or if it's ok.

I'm not a believer in the afterlife, but I'm just curious as to exactly what goes to Heaven.

If humans lead a good life, they can go to Heaven, right? Well if earth is God's creation, then technically shouldn't animals and plants be able to also? Shouldn't a cow's spirit be able to pass the pearly gates if it leads a good life? If a sunflower lives free of sin, shouldn't it be able to have eternal bliss?

Just thinking out loud. Let me know what you guys/gals think.

Can "normal" and "weird" even exist? Each set of cultures and populations have their own standards and perceptions of normal. What's normal to one is weird to another.

So if these two words are ambiguous and changing, can "normal" and "weird" be legitimate universal terms?

Portions have already been disproved. It's quite obvious that religion was created to explain what we could not.

Why does the sun go up and down in the sky? Well if the earth was created by God, then surely everything must revolve around the earth, and geocentrism is born. The Catholic Church's scriptures directly state beliefs of geocentrism.

However, here comes one wise guy, Galileo who disproves the theory and gives way to heliocentrism. Is he a genius? NO! He's a heretic and gets thrown into prison.

The Catholic Church was wrong, and I cant even begin to imagine what would happen to the scientist who discovers how the earth was actually created. He or she would probably be slain and disposed of before the findings ever hit the media.

And one other question. Why is only earth considered to be God's creation? "Who" created the sun? Mars? Venus? The Milky Way? Other far distant galaxies? Don't tell me there's a god for every single plant, and one super God for each galaxy.

And don't give me that God exists only if you believe he exists crap. That's what people say because they don't know how to respond. It's like saying the world is flat if you believe it is. You would be believing something that doesn't exist.

First of all, please don't report this question. I'm merely thinking out loud.

Seriously, think about it. Why is there religion? If God created the earth, then why has Christianity been around for only a couple thousand years and not the beginning of time?

My theory; a very smart group of early "philosophers" all over the globe must have coined the idea of religion. People were living like savages, killing and doing whatever they pleased. However, teach an idea such as heaven and hell, and that should teach people to rethink before they act since nobody wants to go to hell. Since they were spread out and spread their own beliefs, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Greek Mythology, etc. are born.

Why is God a "he"? Surely this "philosopher" who coined Christianity knew that males were the dominant specimen. After all, who would listen to a female deity? Why is Jesus, the son of God, depicted as a white male? After all, white males were the dominant form of humans back then. Who would worship a black Jesus?

Why did the concept of one, superior God start in one area and slowly spread across the world? One person believed, and preached and it had to spread. But if God exists and is "everywhere," why didn't other people know of "his" existence? Shouldn't Russians be aware just as Native Americans? If that's the case, then why did Native Americans believe in spirits and not a single, superior God? Why did the Greeks believe in Zeus, Athena, Aphrodite, etc.?

Does God love his creation of mankind? How come Native Americans were forced to either adopt Christianity or die? Did God condone these actions? If he didn't condone these actions, then why did he allow these men to continue to colonize and spread all over the land?

I'm just thinking out loud. Let me know what you guys think or any objections you may have to my argument.
