I recently had the stock pickups in my '96 Squier Jagmaster replaced with the Seymour Duncan Black Winter humbucker set, with the intent of having a more metal sound. Although it seems to do rhythm guitar rather well, the tone I get from playing leads or single notes sounds very shrill/fizzy to me. As for my gear, I've tested this through a Fender Bassman 10 tube amp, Metal Muff, EQ Pedal, Boss Overdrive/Distortion, Fulltone OCD and a Marshall Fifty Split Channel combo. I'm coming very close to a tone I like through the Marshall, with the MXR 6 Band EQ in front of the Fulltone OCD, but I still get that very fizzy sound from playing lead guitar. I'm starting to think I should consider swapping the Black Winter set out and try another one out, considering I was able to get a nice tone through a different guitar, which had a Dimarzio Super Distortion bridge humbucker. Another thought I had was to consider trying another overdrive pedal in front or behind the OCD. Any suggestions on my dilemma would be great.

The genre I typically play leans more towards death metal, black metal and grindcore, if that helps. Thanks!

One day I thought about looking into if it were possible to hook a guitar amp head to a combo amp. One video seemed to answer my question. I looked into it further, only to read that they both have to match power and impendence. My Fender Bassman 10 tube amp has 70 watts RMS, 4x10 speakers (assuming stock) and 4 ohms. Is there a guitar amp head that would work with what I have?

Hi, my Compaq Presario CQ57 laptop has received blue screen stop errors today. I'm only able to access my computer through Safe Mode with Networking. The stop error code I received was 0x0000003B (0x00000000C0000005, 0xFFFFF8803DB815A, 0xFFFFF88009C83DF0, 0x0000000000000000). I tried running my computer through an antivirus program and a clean boot. Neither have worked and I have no idea what to do. What's happening and why is it happening? How can I fix this so that I don't have to use Safe Mode again?

I never felt like I knew what the hell I wanted to do. I would try doing things that were close to what I enjoyed in life. While they were somewhat fun, I kept feeling discouraged to continue. It got to the point where I was completely disinterested, even when I would try to get back into it. Now, there is nothing I feel like I want to do.

To those that have Major Depression, what helped you get out of that rut?

I just recently posted this video in hopes that I could at least discover the name of the recording artist or the name of this song in particular. A while ago, I downloaded this on my phone as a ringtone. However, the name of the file doesn't indicate who wrote it or the name of the song for that matter. It was simply titled "Death Metal Song". So with that in mind, does anybody know or have an idea who wrote it?

I'm trying to look for something online via video that I could become better at guitar. I play at an intermediate level, know a number of rhythms, some chords, techniques, etc. My main problem has always been creativity and being able to stay out of the rut I have been in, which consists of playing the same thing over and over again. So I figure a guitar lesson video series would help me out quite a bit rather than searching for random lessons to choose from. Many thanks to anybody who is willing to help out!

So far, I understand that Maronite is considered Catholic and that it was founded in Lebanon. Also, there was something about the Maronites having a different system of leadership compared to the Roman Catholic faith, as well as their religions being founded by two different people. If somebody could better explain the differences to me in a way that's simple to understand, that would be great! I'm trying to gather all the information I can possibly for my Compare/Contrast essay, so any scholarly source(as in from a book or article in Google Scholar) would be greatly appreciated! If none can be found, I'm open to non-scholarly sources as well.

Aside from the fact that every major has English as a requirement, what is the logical reasoning behind having to take this class if my focus is primarily on art?

I've been thinking about playing Morrowind for the first time in a while. The one thing that made me stop playing it was that I missed more than I did actually hit anything. I realize that the game has an "invisible dice" mechanism that determines whether I hit or miss. I don't know if this is true, but I've heard that the higher Strength your character has, the more precise your hits are. If this is true, what is the best way to start off a character where you hit more than you miss?

It's only recently that I've become interested in this particular subject. I've done some online research as to see where the best place to start is. I've noticed that Classical Physics has been mentioned a lot, implying that I should start there and work my way up to Quantum Physics. If that is the case, which books should I start out with? Once I become familiar with Classical Physics, what would be the best transition to start learning Quantum Physics? What are the strong and weak points of the books you recommend?

I understand that I am experiencing symptoms of Depression(thoughts of suicide, difficulty concentrating, insomnia, aches, etc) at the moment, since I have had these symptoms numerous times. However, there are others I have that seem different from that of Depression. I usually have disorganized thoughts that affect the way I try to talk to somebody. It always results in me saying something that can't be easily be understood in a logical sense. Also, I have felt as though what I experience in real life has always been a thought. To add to this, sometimes I see every thought I have that shows a different perspective of what's going on, I question whether or not that is the real life experiences I am having. Every now and then, I laugh at some thought I have during some of the more inappropriate times and people who hear it keep asking me why exactly I am laughing. There are other symptoms I have before any of this happened. I tend to isolate myself from others because I fear my psychological state of mind will cause others to avoid me and talk behind my back. Also, I have normally avoided any possibility of me entering an intimate relationship because of the possibility that both my insecurities and my psychological state of mind will immediately ruin it. For most of my life, I have always been quiet and only speak when somebody chooses to acknowledge me in a conversation. Sometimes I do a lot of the same things the same way, which can frustrate me easily because I want to do something for a change.

Due to the circumstances I am in, I cannot get a psychological evaluation for the time being. My family seems to be struggling with financial issues. Not to mention, my mother's religious obsession would prevent me from getting the professional help I truly need. The reason I know this is because of the failed methods she's tried on me, which include buying me Christian self-help books, taking me to bible study, praying over me, and paying a Christian counselor to give me bible verses to read and giving me "challenges". Since I am an atheist, this only makes things worse for me.

When the right time comes, I will go see a specialist. But for now, can anybody help me out with defining what exactly I might have?

Right now, I have stumbled upon writer's block and can't really write anything that embodies the romantic theme decently. I want the piece to be challenging, but not on the level that Cavatina (by Stanley Myers) is. I definitely don't want it to be simple(eg. Hey There Delilah).

Does anybody know any songs and/or instrumentals that have a romantic feel to it, as well as being both challenging and fun to play?

I felt pretty disappointed when I saw Cena finally giving it to Kane this past Monday Night RAW. Although I do realize that this was probably the only way that could have allowed Cena to be prepared to face The Rock with him and Kane feuding, I cannot say what happened to Kane was justified. The guy was pretty much treated as a joke ever since The Undertaker changed into the American Badass. That started to change dramatically when Kane was finally given the appropriate promo, which allowed for the new Masked Kane gimmick to take off. Honestly, this may have been the best push he's had other than when he made his debut as Kane. Hell, I was convinced that he was going to dominate for the most part based on the appearances he's made. Now, I feel that his newly revamped gimmick will end up exactly like how he was when he was unmasked because of what went on recently. Regardless, I'd like to hear any opinions on this subject.

This is the warning I get every single time I visit a website. I also get this warning when I try to log into YouTube. Normally it doesn't prevent me from doing anything, but for some reason it cancels the log in process for YouTube. I have tried using safe mode to see if disabling all the add-ons would work. That failed miserably as well as deleting all extensions I had for it. I believe this is the newest Firefox update I have installed as it was just about a month or so ago since I've updated it. Anybody know a way around this?

I already have decided to take Illusion, Alteration, Speech, Conjuration, and Enchanting. Other than joining the College of Winterhold and completing Sheogorath's quest, which quests would best fit a character who embodies the personality of Sheogorath?
