it was a cross intersection (correct me if I used the wrong term). The road I was in had no stop sign but the other road where the lady was at had a stop sign. I waited for the other cars to pass by in order to make a left (I was in the middle lane, the lane with yellow broken lines) and the lady that hit me wasn't there yet. When I made the left, she made the left 2 seconds after I made the left and she hit the left rear of my car. Is it her fault? This is my first car accident...

I know finding the median is easy. Here's the problem

As you can see, this one is an even median problem with two numbers. I am arguing with my friend that that answer IS 14. She says its 13.5 because she was taught that way. She got 13.5 since its between both 14's and apparently, she was taught like that in Asia. I am not sure which is the right answer now! This is for my Stats class in college but have not touched math in so long! It is one of the questions for our extra credit and we don't have the book yet (getting it next week)! Plus he hasn't taught it yet since its first day of class. I think it is to refresh our memories from high school math lol.

Hi, we had an incident in our house. We were filling water from a large tub where we collect pure water with our purifer and I guess we forgot to turn it off. When we checked upstairs 15 min later, the bathroom was covered in water that were half an inch thick.! We did dry the entire bathroom (its a small bathroom) but we notice a leak in our lights downstairs dining room.. It was leaking and there are two wet spots on the top.The drippings just stopped but those two wet spots are still there. Do we just let those spots dry? The wet spots are about 4-5 inches long in a straight line (yes not circular). It wasn't a faucet leak or anything so we are positive its not going to happen again.

I'm sure this wont happen again but is this permanent damage? Do we need to replace the ceiling? Should we call the plumber? We have no experience with these types of situations.

Hi everyone, I have to read this newspress for my religious studies class. As a Wiccan myself, it hurts me to read this article. It basically talks about a Wiccan ceremony getting interrupted by Christian protesters. The Wiccan ceremony was preformed in a Wiccan store that sold oils, herbs, and more. These protesters came to ruin the ceremony by screaming bible verses and played insanely loud Christian music. Of course they had reported this to the Sheriff's as a "hate crime." The deputy said that this case was investigated but it turns out that the reports was "not hate." After this incident, many random individuals would spit and put their hand prints on the store door occasionally.

I have to write in a paragraph about the judgement in religion.

Do you believe the Deputy was also a judgmental Christian so he declined the requests? I would love to know what you guys think. What I put down right now is if Wiccans had disrupted a Church service and these Christians reported them as a hate crime, that same deputy will charge them guilty for felony. I also put that the reason many Christians are so judgmental about Wiccans is that they believe our religion "worships satan-like figures" which we do not. This is the reason most Wiccans try to hide their religion in public to prevent negative reactions. Thanks for reading this long page of texts!:) I might get some interesting ideas from you guys which is why I typed this. And No, I am not saying all Christians are like this. Its just most of them. and Yes!! I do have respect for all religions. :D

Hi, I was wondering if lip piercings hurt since I am getting one next week. Never had piercing in my life. I am only 17 and my parents will let me since I get good grades and stuff. My friends told me to try it since they have some sort of piercings so I guess I am. They also recommended me to a professional piercer which is really clean, although I have to give a tip for the work so that part is done.

Anyways I am getting the piercing on the left side and another one, I think one was called Labret piercing (in the middle), yea Idk the names. I can already see the blood gushing in my mind during the process. lol also, if for some reason I have regrets of the piercings, can I just take it off and close? Will it leave a scar? Thanks! lol :O If its bad then I guess I wont get the piercing.

I'm not in College yet (I am a senior in high school). I am the type of person who likes to prepare early... I don't know much about Fafsa. A counselor went to our classroom today and talked about financial aid. Anyways, she said something about getting denied if your parents income is too high. I asked her if I can still qualify and she said "you can still get some money if you sign up" which is confusing since she didn't really clarify the topic I asked. She is a new counselor in our school. My parents make around $200,000 a year BUT they are going to pay for half my tuition to teach me responsibilities and "nothing is life is free" stuff which I agree. Yes, they are supporting me with food, etc. Its just half the tuition I need to pay. Will I still qualify for Fafsa? Should I sign up to see if I get something? Are loans best? I want to prepare early so I don't struggle at the end lol. Thanks:)

Note: I am doing lots or research to prepare but just making sure lol:D If Fafsa doesn't work for me, I am thinking of getting a part time job next year.:P

My teacher let us pick our own topics to do and we decided on school suspension. Hi, this is my 3rd week in for college MicroEcon. I am stuck on these two questions. I can do the graphing (product curves, etc) but I am confused on these two word problems and some on chap 11 that I will try to figure out on my own unless complicated. Hi this may be a dumb question but I am not those computer genius type person.. I am one of those that frequently ask questions about technology lol.

Anyways, I pay the highest speed available in my place (At&t) and I currently had set a router with my older sister and set a difficult password. Next couple of months, there are times in the afternoon and night when my page wont load or it just slows down all randomly. Whenever I restart the router, it gains the normal speed and then later on, same thing happens. I even called at&t and they told me everything is normal. Is someone taking internet signal from my router and making my own internet slow? This is what I think. If that is the case, I will rechange the password to a very difficult. Yes, I have an anti-virus (Norton) and I have no virus or anything bad.. If this is not the cause, can you tell me what it is WITH details if possible. Thanks.

Hi, I like being cheap sometimes so I went to the Salvation Army/thrift stores and I found a 30 piece Fine China set (plates, cups, teapot, bowls) for $60, of course I bought it since it was an amazing deal! I am just curious why these plates are so darn expensive! What is so special about these plates than ordinary? Is it the material, labor or just the looks? Again, I am just curious lol. I wont sell it or anything, I would love to use it for future celebrations (bdays, family gatherings, etc) I might even use it for decorations for my home.

Hi, I read the entire article but it does not define "lowering inhibitions" clearly. It only gives an example of a person having a sexual relationship with a person they just met. Can someone explain the meaning of lowering inhibitions? I want to use lower inhibitions for my a main idea for next week.

Also, is A person cheating on their wife/husband consider lowering inhibition? I sort of get the definition but just making sure. Thanks! :)

Hi, I am planning to throw a party in about two to three weeks. The only party I had was when I was 9 but it was kiddish. I am turning 21 soon and I was wondering what should I prepare for my party and yes this is my first time throwing my own party. I have about 10-15 people for guest, its going to be at my house (its has a lot of room for people) and I have a budget of about $250.
