I have a Yorkshire Terrier that I absolutely adore. She's very sweet and is great with other cats and dogs, kids, and adults. The problem I've noticed is she seems like she is a compulsive licker. I am wondering if it might be an anxious habit of hers? If she's not licking somebody, she is liking the couch, the blanket, the carpet... you name it. I have tried putting toys in front of her to have her lick or chew those instead which only works for a few minutes. What can I do to change or stop this behavior?

While filling up at the gas station, I must have stepped in a small gas spill. Now my shoes smell like gas. What can I do to get the smell off of them? I've tried washing with soap and it's not working. Any suggestions?

So this guy was convicted of killing a 6 and a 7 year old. He asked for the death penalty and asked that it be moved up to next month. Now officials are saying it's a court-assisted suicide and they don't think he's competent to make that decision? He was going to die in jail if he didn't ask for the death penalty and he's doing a noble thing by not wanting to prolong misery for himself or the families, not to mention spending our tax dollars. So do you think this is an assisted suicide or a man just being considerate of others?

What would the percentage be for tipping your hairdresser or someone that works at a spa (massage, pedicure, etc)?

I've recently become a member of a Southern Baptist Church (grew up in PA and went to a non-denominational church) and I've been dating a man for 4 years. He's looking into joining the Catholic Church (he does not agree with the behaviors of some Baptists he's encountered so he won't join my church). He's gone through many ups and downs through the years and I think that him going to a Catholic Church would be good for him. I was thinking about going to mass with him as well to show my support (and get in some extra time with God too, ha ha). So I guess I was wondering, can I go to both (but not take communion at the Catholic Church since I'm not "Catholic") without it conflicting with the beliefs of either church?

By the way, I don't think I could fit two services into one day, so I was thinking of going every other weekend or go to Saturday mass and regular service at my Baptist Church on Sunday. Probably irrelevant information, but I just thought I'd say that for inquiring minds.

I'm getting a like a stale metallic taste in my mouth this morning. What could be the reason for this? I feel fine otherwise, just tired. Any ideas?

I think that computer/text lingo has really affected the intellect and ability for people to spell out every day words. I think it makes people look really stupid when they can't spell the very basic words in our language. Spell check only allows people to get away with this more often. Does this bother anyone else besides me?

So, I think it's interesting that people say that Obama is the "Black Man" in the presidential race. Do people not realize that his mother is white? I think it's a little unfair to put him in one racial category when he has a very diverse background, don't you?

I'm looking into buying an MP3 player and I'm trying to decide between i-pod and zune. I currently have no downloading program on my computer, so I'm open to either Microsoft or iTunes.

Here's what I'm concerned about: Price, portability (I want to play in car or house on a dock, as well as at the gym), storage, and long term use. I was also wondering if either have a program where I can pay for songs per month and not per song?

What I don't care about is the screen size, videos, pictures, or any of the frills. Which one would be my best bet?

I'm running a 10k race the first weekend of April and am finding myself a bit on the lethargic side. I've been drinking plenty of water and am trying to have a balanced diet, but I feel like I should be doing more. Any suggestions on what to eat and not eat?

That girl has so much crap going on in her life. I just wish that the media would let her hide for a while, I'm sick of hearing all about her tragic occurences. It's really starting to depress me.
