I work as operations in a factory--we are not allowed to use steel-toes and I m looking for a good walking shoe. Ideally I m looking for good traction on concrete surfaces but still being relatively light (ie, not a boot).

Would a climbing approach shoe be functional? Or would it be hell on earth?

I just bought a used car and was wondering how long it would take the plates to be ready if I were to go apply for them tomorrow morning.

I'm looking to buy a car, but looking at the safety ratings: it's got 4 stars average on the NHSTSA ratings (frontal) and 3 stars on side impact.

However the IIHS shows a different story, averaging marginal and poor on safety.

I have an HP G60 laptop. It's about 2 years old so it's workably current. However, whenever I play music while working on my computer (Windows Media, YouTube, whatever), sometimes the audio stutters and the computer freezes (after a few minutes of use). I can't use CTRL+ALT+DEL, or anything. Really the only solution is hold down the power button (which is of course harmful...) any ideas on what could be wrong with it?

I sucked on my girlfriend's toes (spare the foot jokes, please) two nights ago, and now one of her toes is swollen...it's possible that it can be an ant bite but it is possible that her toes can have Strep?

There's not much more to say, it's really getting annoying. Do I need to reinstall or even update it?

I have an Alpine car stereo (just the control panel, the speakers are factory) on a 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan. The stereo worked great up until a couple of years ago. Sometimes when it cuts off gently (or not so gently) hitting the dash restores audio (not a smart idea, I know). I tried replacing the factory panel but the same thing happens. That makes me think it's a wiring flaw...is there a way to fix this or is the sound a write-off?

Whenever it gets to be 37 degrees or below the door opens but when I have to close it, it behaves as if there is an obstacle in the way (there isn't one, I checked). To close it, I have to hold the button down a few times and slowly lower it until it properly closes. Is there anything I can do to fix or prevent this? Or should I get a new garage door opener?
