    Gluten-Free Bakery

Through the years, more and more people have shown an interest in going gluten-free for

dieting, health reasons, gastronomical problems and also because of celiac disease- being the

main reason for going gluten-free. Celiac disease is an inherited condition that can happen when

people eat foods containing gluten. Taking it more in depth, the disease creates an immune-

mediated toxic reaction which then causes the small intestine to be damaged and thus disabling

food to thoroughly be taken in and absorbed. Celiac disease is one of the most under-diagnosed

disorders and affects nearly 3 million Americans. With so many people affected by the disease

and other health problems, it is only reasonable to find a way to have these people enjoy life with

many sweets and breads that they cannot eat; A gluten-free bakery!

In owning a gluten-free bakery business there are many pros and cons. If someone does have

a gluten intolerance they could already have damage to the intestines and eating gluten free

can help turn around the damage in their body. A gluten-free diet also introduces new foods

and better quality grains into diets and promotes people to read food labels which then cause

people to be more alert of any food they might be consuming. The knowledge of food with going

gluten-free, in the end, leads to a healthier diet and eliminates most processed foods. Lastly,

going gluten-free impacts many people for putting an emphasis on natural foods like vegetables

    and fruits.

On the other hand, living without gluten could worsen your body. A reduced carb intake could

take place if someone fails the knowledge of gluten-free as well as a shortage in fiber which

could still cause problems in the intestines. It is very time consuming to plan meals and snacks

with gluten-free and takes determination and great effort. Gluten-free foods are also expensive

because people are taking out the protein of gluten and stuffing in multiple ingredients. Another

reason people go gluten-free is to lose weight but what they don’t know is, going gluten-free

can actually signal weight gain because gluten-free products contain much more fat and sugar as

well as gluten-free is more easily absorbed by the intestinal track. Many people think that gluten-

free equals “healthy” but in reality, gluten-free can cause malnutrition from extracting too many

foods out of a person’s old, normal diet and the body giving a negative reaction. Backing up the

opinion of not going gluten-free; “Going gluten-free can result in nutritional deficiencies in your

diet. Many grains are fortified with iron, folate, and other B vitamins, so cutting grains from your

diet could mean cutting nutritional quality if you aren't careful.”

With that, a gluten-free bakery would work, in some cases. It all depends on where it is opened

at. A gluten-free bakery business would be difficult but possible because many gluten-free

products are in high demand now a day because of the rate of celiac disease and gastronomical

problems. The rate of these have increased every year since 2000 and in 2009 WebMD reported

that celiac disease has quadrupled over the last 50 years in the United States but only 5% of the

population know they have it, so a gluten-free bakery could very much work.

If owning a gluten-free bakery, people would need to be on point baking goods for their

business because many of gluten-free sweets are crummy and not as tasteful as a gluten bakery.

Therefore, with so many people affected by the disease and other health problems, it is only

reasonable to find a way to have these people enjoy life with many sweets and breads that they

    cannot eat; A gluten-free bakery!

  • Does this sound like a good date?

So I've been talking to this guy for a while and his birthday is this weekend... Would inviting him over and cooking his favorite meal and then going out on a trail on the river with pillows and blankets and looking at the starts and talking, cuddling, etc. be a cute idea? Also, a note saying how I'm glad I've met him & what not. Thank you!

The trail leads off to a giant platform near a river btw

  • Saw my ex boyfriend... help?

So my ex boyfriend was in town visiting his best friend and I was hanging out with our mutual girl friend. It was my ex's best friends birthday so we decided to go over there and tell him happy birthday. We stayed in the car and the guy whos birthday it was came outside and got in the car and was just talking to us. Then my ex walked out, we made eye contact and he smiled a little bit.. and so did I. I love my ex with all my heart still but he moved to a different state and broke up with me a few weeks after he moved and he said "I got bored and lost feelings you need a man there and im not there to comfort you. its for the best." But you really do not know how in love we both were. Anyways, my ex ended up getting in the car which im surprised because he has ignored me every single day since we broke up except for like 2 times.. When he got in the car i didnt talk to him or even look at him, i was on my phone the whole time. My girl friend was doing all the talking to the guys and she said my ex would only look at my phone and me. I was texting this boy, Carson, who my ex was always VERY JEALOUS about when we were dating. Like one time I was at my ex's house and i got a text from carson and my ex was like "Dont..." because he hates when i text when im hanging out with him..especially if i text carson.. and i did end up texting back and my ex was like "wow, **** my life. and he started to tear up" he was genuinely scared he was going to lose me to him! He was always scared he would lose me to him because he is so much more.. athletic, taller, older and handsomer basically. I felt so bad afterwards and all i wanted was to hold on to him forever and comfort him.. anyways, The thing is, his name had hearts next to it when in the car because ever since my ex left, he has been there for me.. but idk if i could ever love him like i love my ex. then i texted my ex a few times last night.. no replies.

    what does this mean?

  • I texted my ex boyfriend and he replied?

Okay so my ex broke up with me exactly 1 month ago and I am still not over him.. But I don't show that to him. He broke up with me because he "lost feelings and got bored" but we were in a long distance relationship. Also when he broke up with me he said "I don't think it's going to work out.. You need a man there and I'm not there to comfort you." I texted him three times after a week of us splitting. He never replied to those so I gave up. But what I texted him was about him not ever wanting to speak to me again.. I was asking him if he just wanted to never talk again an he didn't reply. Anyways, this past weekend I ran into his brother and his dad and his dad at the beach.. called me a nickname my ex would call me..so it kind of got stuck with me. Then the next day at the beach his best friend yelled my name out a car as he was passing me on the sidewalk.. So when I got home from the bench I texted my ex and told him about how I saw his best friend and his family and he replied 30 minutes later saying "Yeahh haha he told me he saw you" and so on.. He was actually keeping conversation going until the last two texts which were just "haha yeah" and "hahah sucks"

This was the first time we've talked in 3 weeks.

What does this mean? Oh and also! I checked my Facebook this morning and he changed his relationship status to single this morning.. But his twitter bio still says "I love...." even though he has tweeted a few times since we broke up! Help?

  • Ex boyfriend help!? Pleaseee.?

So my ex boyfriend and I dated for 6 months, talked for about 8. Later on in our relationship he told me when he first laid eyes on me he wanted me to be his. When I first met him I had no intention on dating him, I just wanted to be his friend because I thought he was so cute. Well we hung out with our friends and went bowling, as friends still then later in the week he invited me over to his house. We watched a movie and I stayed for dinner then went home. When I got home he texted me and was telling me he was sad because I didnt turn around on the couch to face his face so he could kiss me basically. Keep in mind I just wanted to be friends at first but then he invited me over again and we watched TV and did homework and what not. I decided to stay over late to watch another movie and after the movie I was getting up to leave; gave each other hugs and he gently kissed me. I then realized when he kissed me, I wanted him back. It connected us so much. He asked me out in December and during our relationship every little thing just got stronger and stronger. We did so many fun activities together so it wasn't boring and we always talked to each other. We both play soccer so we'd come to each others games and what not. Throughout our relationship he said he loved me with all his heart and he never wanted me to leave him and vice versa. March rolls around and I find out he is moving one state over. I was heartbroken but he assured me we would stay together and do a LDR. He told me he was 110% committed and he had his mind set that I was the girl for him. We had plans for after high school. (I'm going into Senior year this year and him Junior) After I graduated from High school I was going to move to where he was and live with him and his family. (They're rich.. so they have MUCH extra room; plus his older brother is leaving for college soon) I was going to get a job where he lived while he finished up senior year, and I was thinking I could use the extra money I make at a job towards college together with him. Anyways, June comes around and he moves on June 8th. He told me on June 13th this.. "Goodnight baby, I love you like I've never loved anything before. You're the most important thing in my life right now and I hope that never changes. I want to be with you. I want to see you again. I want to do a lot of things, but you're at the top of my list. I miss you and I cant wait for this year to be up so we can live together and breathe and share the same air and bed. (That sounds really odd) Anyways, I want to have a life with you and no one else. You're all I want, nothing more, nothing less. I love you." I replied "Wow you have never said anything like that before." He said "I know. It's because I have never felt that way before." He also said this before he moved, "Ok baby. I love you and I miss you and you mean the world to me. You're the most gorgeous girl I've ever laid eyes on and I just cannot take my eyes off you. I hope you understand and believe me when I say I love you and I never want to lose you. I love you, goodnight." He told me this when I was upset with him because he got jealous about me hanging out with my best friend and her brother happened to be there and her brother and I are friends so yeah.. He has just told me things like this and he genuinely meant them. All of our mutual friends said he would only talk good about me and how much he loved and cared about me. We got in a little argument on June 15th. I got mad at him because it seemed like he didnt care about me and it seemed like he didnt care about coming to NC with me.. so I called him out on it.. I told him "Im seriously considering something.." and he freaked out and said "NO baby!! Don't!! I've been priding and arguing with my Dad about the trip and he just said no because there are too many people he doesnt know!" and I said "Theres no point then... I'm traveling most of the summer so I'll never be able to see you" He said "NO POINT!!! wow.." I was on my period and I was just very emotional that night and I really DID NOT mean any of that but I know words have a strong meaning to them. So he got mad at me and was like "Let me think!" so i did.. he never texted me the next day, i texted him and he just seemed like a dead-beat.. it was like a one-sided conversation with myself. I apologized that night and told him how much I cared about him and loved him. Then June 17th came.. I asked if we could talk on the phone and thats when he said "I don't think it's going to work out. I lost feelings... and I got bored.." I was crying and begging him to not do this and he just kept saying "I've made up my mind.. You need a man there and I won't be there to comfort you all the time. It's for the best." Well June 23rd he came down to visit his friend and
