I have had to reinstall itunes on to my laptop, but now i cannot connect either mine or my daughters ipod to it, just keeps saying ipod is not recognised? any idea?

I have experience but it was 7 years ago before I had my babies, and have been working as a cook in a nursery the last two years. I have already had one interview but have been called back to do some admin tests on excel, powerpoint, spreadsheets and other basic admin skills. My confidence is shaky as it has been 7 years since ive done any of these! Can anyone recommend any programmes I can do online cheaply or even free!

I run a small rainbow group (5 -7 yrs) and am looking for a modern christmas song that we can teach them for church parade this year, they will be accompanied by older children too! Problem is I cannot find anything suitable. Does anybody have and website links to help me on my search for the perfect song. I would need music too and would have to be a free download!

Im in the uk, sat comfy on my sofa waiting for my weekly dose of Lost, but it doesnt appear to be on? Does anyone know why?

Please bear with me as I have no idea how to explain this...

I have a shower in my bath its attatched to the hot and cold faucet its two taps with one faucet, the shower is one that you pull the knob and water runs via the shower not the taps!

Now the problem is when I use the shower it all spurts out the shower hose at the bottom! I have replaced the hose but its still doing it! Is there something like a washer missing from the actual tap set?

I have applied for a Job as a Cook in a nursery that has a high volume of Muslim children. At the moment the Muslim children are given all veggie meals, which in my opinion are poor, the choices are veggie sausages, macaroni cheese and other equally boring meals! I have already been interviewed and have a second interview coming up, which they would like me to plan some menus. They have already told me that they need to improve on the meal choices for the muslim children, and have found a halal butcher to supply the meats! My questions are..

1. Would you trust that the meat was halal if your child was in nursery and they told you it was?

2. What kind of meals would you like to see on the menu if your child was in t he nursery? (recipes would be great)

I have a 2nd Job interview tomorrow, its at a nursery as a cook. I have to show that I can prepare a menu that accommodates all the children's needs! There is a high proportion of muslim children. I understand that meats product should be halal, but what about fish? I would really appreciate some guidelines I could follow! I didn't think muslims ate gelatin but the cook who I shadowed at the last interview had jelly on the menu?

The job itself I can do but as im not muslim I don't have a brilliant understanding of the dietry needs and would hate to either not get the job because I didn't find out or get the job and make a mistake! I would appreciate any advice you may have to give!

Its my 30th birthday in April and im having a party, but would like to theme it for fancy dress, any Ideas?

few salad bits

loads of herbs

I do have a freezer full of garlic bread and other side bits

Any Ideas?

My house needs a good clean but im sat here on answers come on friends give me some ooomph!

I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old. My 5 yr old will eat anything I give her, she loves veggies and fruit I never have to worry about what she is eating. My son however has started to be a right fussy little toad and im at the end of my tether with him. To be fair he used to eat very well, but because he has had constant Diareah since he was born the specialist had us cut things from his menu one of which was for 3 weeks he wasnt allowed fruit or veg, we had to supplement his veggies with extra potatoes pasta and rice, and snacks had to be biscuits bread sticks etc.. ( I know thats wierd) Thing is 2 months later he will not eat veg at all he is even turning his nose up at fruit which he loved before! I have been so strict I havnt given him snacks in between meals and I wont give him pudding but he just will not back down. On a few occasions now he has gone to bed hungry because he wont eat his tea! What should I do?

My daughter is 5 in January and is having some friends over for a spongebob themed birthday party. I was thinking of doing burgers and chips (like crabby patties) and salad bits with a cake, however a few of her little friends are muslim and I am unsure if I can use the normal mince you buy in the supermarket to make the burgers or if I have to get Halal! to be honest im not even 100% sure the rest of the menu is going to be ok! I would really appreciate some input on this so that I can send her invites out with a menu and be 100% sure that its all ok for them to eat!

My two have been little terrors today, I think its all the excitment with breaking up from school and of course its been boring this weekend because its not actually Christmas, is anyone else finding there monsters hard work this weekend?

Im starting to get restless waiting!

We always open one present which is always new pjs and have a pizza delivered! We started the pizza thing 4 yrs ago on our daughters 1st Christmas she was 11 months and she loved it! We have pics of her covered on bbq sauce munching wedges and garlic bread, and it was such a happy time! So we have ended up ordering pizza every yr on Christmas Eve its the only time of year we get a pizza delivery so its a real treat!

For my family it is! We have had a tough year financially and really struggled to make ends meet especially as my hubby a mortgage advisor got made redundant, things have started to look up for us but its still hard, so this year we decided we were not going to stress about Christmas, I have bought my own Children presents but havnt gone overboard and my neice, but have explained to everyone else that we just cant do it this year, everyone has been supportive and understanding! I really feel this year ts like Christmas has come back as other years iv bought loads of presents loads of food and decorations and just stressed about it! This year I feel relaxed Iv done what I can and am now looking forward to the day with no fuss!
