  • Computer/ printer compatibility issue?

    I have a Toshiba L455D-S5976 Laptop that I need to temporarily hook up to a Dell 720 printer via USB, for some reason it is not recocnizing the USB as being connected. I have changed the cord to other sites and same message... no communication.. I 'm thinking it may be a compatibility issue, and not really a USB communication issue. I've updated drivers on my computer for printer USB, but you cannot roll back, which I would never want anyway.... Help!? Please?

  • 2006 Chevy HHR DIC problem?

    Does anyone have any idea how to reset the DIC in my HHR. It seems to be stuck. The only thing that works is the mileage and outside temperature. Can't get it to change to the MPG, trip mileage, miles left on tank of gas, oil life, engine temp, nothing. We've checked all the fuses, they are fine. Disconnected the battery, hoping this would reset it, no luck. Asked the mechanics at the Chevy dealer, they don't know. Thanks in advance for your help.

    We currently use Tritech14 on all four of our horses, keep the pasture and the barn clean of poo,and have the fly bags hanging everywhere, but I heard somewhere that vinegar works too? If so, how would I use it?

  • How to update USB to 2.0 on Computer?

    I have a Compac presario with no available slots for upgrade on USBs. They are soldered to motherboard. It does have Windows Xp, but it was a ME. In device manager, it does not have any enhanced USB, so I'm assumng it's 1.1. We bought a new film scanner and it ONLY works with 2.0 and XP, so buying new CPU probably would do nothing for us, because of Vista. Never had any problems with other plug & plays. An external drive might do it, but will not run any faster than it does now, but at least the driver would be recognized, right? Then again we are talking spending more money (yuk). Any suggestions?

  • Problems browsing using Yahoo as Home Page?

    Every other time I try to browse, after I have set my yahoo, as my home page I get error messages saying page cannot be displayed. Why and how can I fix it? Should I go back to another home page to browse?
