I'm a day-dreamer. The outdoors makes me feel comfortably insignificant. Living in the moment is the best place to be.(no worries) Children keep me in the moment. I love their company. Every day is a new beginning! I love the smell of horses, pine needles and newborn infants. I love the touch of my grandaughter's hand on my face. I love looking for frogs and four-leafed clovers. The chirping of Spring Peepers is music to my ears. That first bite of a grilled, rare T-bone is out-of-this-world! Have you smelled, touched, looked, listened and tasted today?

5 AnswersFootball (American)10 years agoChildren self-gratifying in order to nap?
I have provided Family Day Care since 1975. I realize that kids explore their bodies BUT I have one child (female) who constantly has a pillow or blanket wedged between her legs and "humps" it.Never have I witnessed this as an obsession. This is especially done while calming herself to nap. Should I just over look it or is the frequency a sign of something her pediatrician should know?
1 AnswerToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoWhy does disagreement and anger go "hand in hand" in this country?
There are many issues which have our country divided. The most alarming part of it is the venom with which we speak to each other. The intolerance belongs to all groups and I'm tired of talking to name-calling children instead of thoughtful adults. We are Americans all and deserve respect for our ideas and should respect those who disagree. What the heck is going on?
2 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIf mankind cannot accurately predict weather, how could they possibly predict major climate changes?
I realize that climate and weather are not the same. Our human records of climatic events barely spans one millionth of a millisecond in the life of our planet. It is noble to try to predict and question evidence but to profess that any of us has THE answer is absurd, in my opinion. What do you think?
