  • Both vehicle a/c and cigarette outlet stopped working!?

I drove 150 miles home last night, while simultaneously using my a/c and cigarette outlet. Now this morning, neither are working. I saw a flick of the cigarette outlet working when I plugged in my cell phone charger, but then the light instantly went out. Also, the metal part that holds my charger in the cigarette lighter feel looser than normal.

I checked my fuses and the a/c one looked unbroken but the cigarette fuse was blown. I replaced both but neither the a/c nor the outlet are working.

Does anyone have an idea of what could be the problem? I am definitely no car expert but I assumed it was blown wiring(if that even exists).

Any help will be appreciated as I'll have to fix this problem myself and google proved to be lacking.

    Thanks again!

  • Where is this quote from?

For some reason I know these 3 lines:

"Behold, for I am one of simple mind!"

"Silence thyself and leave this place, fool"

    "T'was merely an act"

Does anyone know where this is from? I tried google with no luck.

    Thanks !

  • Does your bank charge an overdraft protection fee?

I bank with wells fargo and I'm sick of them charging me 12.50$ every time they pull from my savings to cover my checking account.

I checked with Suntrust and they do this too. Anyone know a bank, preferably in Virginia, that doesn't impose this fee?

    Thanks....

  • How to take datura seeds?

I have a datura seed pod and I've been reading about the effects of taking this plant for recreational use. Basically, I wanna hallucinate my balls off.

What I first read about datura, the people who did it just opened up the seed pod and ate the seeds. Now someone has told me that you have to dry the seeds to get any effect. I checked erowid and google, but I can't tell if I have to dry the seeds or not.

I'd be okay with either eating the seeds or smoking them.

Does anybody know the best way? Thanks in advance!

  • How to erase entry for external hard drive in registry.?

My (brand new) external hard drive died when I restarted my computer while it was running and now my computer tells me the "parameter is incorrect". And my computer is unable to format it now.

After some research I have decided to delete its entry from my registry. And I have no idea how to do that. I searched for my drive letter "f", "disk", "external", but to no avail.

Obviously, I have no idea what I'm doing. Can someone please help?

    Many thanks!

  • Computer is crashing!?

I have an dell inspiron 1525 laptop (about 4 years old) which has been acting strange the last few months. It will completely shut off when I do any one of the following: 1) Play WoW or Diablo (not while hooked up to the internet and with all other programs closed) and 2) Stream large video files from hulu or mtv.

Plus when option 2 occurs the computer's error report states that the WLAN card has stopped working.

I assume the computer is crashing when it's resources are being strained, does that sound accurate ? Could this be the only cause? And what can I do to make my computer work like the spring chicken it once was ??

Thanks for any and all help!

  • Tape worm medication to give my cat?

The only tapeworm medication available at my local petsmart was Praziquantel tabs. Unfortunately the label gives no dosing instructions and says to call my vet for this info. Since they're actually my irresponsible roommate's cat, I have no vet and don't know any in the area.

The pills are 23mg and only 3 came in the bottle. Does anyone know how many I should give the cat ? The cat weighs no more than 15 pounds.

There are actually two cats in the house and I only have seen one affected. Should I treat both just in case ?

Thanks for any and all help!!

  • Should I delete System32 on a Vista operating system ?

I've read in a couple not-so-credible places that if I delete my System 32 file then my computer will run faster. Some logic that states the System 32 is full of old system files that I don't need anymore.

But my system 32 file is HUGE. Should I delete it all ? Just the .dll files ? or leave the file alone as I don't really know what I'm doing.

    Thanks!

  • Computer response problem!?

I've been having the craziest problem with my computer. It first started with my mouse sometimes not responding to my clicking when I moved my cursor over a link or program tab. I unplugged my cordless mouse, thinking I just needed a battery, but using my laptop built in mouse doesn't work in the exact same way!

I am able to move the cursor but unable to click on anything, both right and left clicks. The only time it does work is if I hit control, alt, delete, and bring up my Windows Task Manager. Then it will work for an intermittent/random amount of time.

I ran a squared and avast, but both programs said I have no viruses. What's a girl to do ?

Thanks for all and any help!

  • Should I take a Intro SAP College Course?

I have no real programming experience (just basic html) but my college isn't offering intro to programming for the next two semesters ! But it is offering an Intro to SAP class, which is not in the 100 or 200s but a 491 class(but that might just be because this class is one of many variable classes)

Does this language require preexisting programming knowledge or could it be handled like any intro programming course ?

    Thanks for any help!

  • My computer has been taken over by a Trojan Virus! Please Help!!?

My roommate (not in his brightest hour) downloaded a wma from limewire a couple months ago and now I have some sort of Trojan virus. I only know it came from the wma and is a Trojan because my anti-virus told me.

I tried to delete the file, purge it with my anti-virus, upload a new antivirus from a disc and jump drive, and tried to do system restore. But everytime I try something I get an error that says I am "denied" and "not authorized" to do it.

If anyone couple please give me some advise on what I can do besides take my computer to the shop and whipe all my files, I would really apprecitate it.

Do you think I can put my files on a disc or jump drive with the virus going with them ?

Thanks for any and all advice !

  • Is this a smart legal move in response to theft ? Have to make a decision at 7pm est.?

My now ex-roommate stole a little over $1000.0 of DVDs from my apartment. He's on probation so if I call the police he will definitely go to jail for 2 years, plus they'll find a gravity bong in his room. Hence, my thinking is if I call the cops on him I won't get my money back for a very long time.

I wrote a contract that has him admitting guilt of theft, agreeing to full restitution before a specific date and his acknowledgment of litigation if he fails Within the contract is a list of every movie he stole plus a separate print out for each movie with it's price from a retail store (obtained from their website).

I think the contract looks good but my boss said he made a similar contract with someone and when the theif didn't make good the cops said he had no recourse since he made the contract.

Any one know what is the best move to get my money back quickly & legally ?

He has no money now & his parents won't pay because while they know he stole my stuff they don't think I can prove it. But he admitted it in texts he sent me.

  • My dell computer keeps shutting off....help!!?

I have had my dell inspiron 1525 laptop for a year now and its been working wonderfully until yesterday. When I unplugged my computer to move it into another room it instantly turned off, no shut down.

Even though my computer had full battery life I just thought it was a technical fluke. I plugged the computer back in, restarted it, and resumed my normal work. Several hours later I unplugged my computer again and again it shut off.

I left my computer off all night. When I plugged my computer in this morning it seemed fine. But now the battery life light is flashing orange, as if I am running low on battery. However my computer is plugged in and my desktop battery monitor says I have a fully charged battery.

I really don't know what to do. Is there someone brilliant enough to help me !?

    Thanks in advance !

  • How to stay cool in my apartment ?

I live in a long 2 bedroom apartment and we're boiling hot! The a/c is only emitting a wimpy flow of cold air. I have tried changing the a/c from auto fan to fan on. Its too muggy and hot outside to have the windows open but every ceiling fan is on full blast.

I've already called the land lord but they won't have anyone come down until monday. I've got a small dog that really can't take heat.

    Anyone had any suggestions ?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Does one had to be muscular to be a chiropractor ?

I really don't know anything about chiropractors but my cousin wants to be one. The only thing I'm concerned with is that he is only 5"2 and not very muscular.

For some reason I thought a chiropractor needed to be muscular and tall in order to work on people. Am I wrong in this complete assumption ?

Has anyone had any short chiropractors ?

Thanks for any and all help!!

  • Will this overwork or hurt my body ?

I'm having a really hard time losing weight. Right now school is out so I've decided to walk (I'm too big to run) two miles every hour. But I've been reading online that a person can "overwork" their body. And if you do so they you won't lose any weight.

Do you all think this will happen if I walk two miles every hour ? I'm walking pretty fast - its almost running.

Oh and if anyone has any hiit training suggestions that would be excellent!

    Thanks in advance.
