I am a happily married woman and a mommy of one very cute and silly little boy. I am a born again Christian and I love the Lord with all of my heart. I drive a GMC Jimmy. I served in the US ARMY as an MP for 6 years. I have a degree in Computer Graphic Design. I love my family and friends. I am not perfect, sometimes I stumble, sometimes I slip, but I always get back up and move on. I hate grocery shopping, but I'm thankful that I'm able to do it. I hate bees and spiders. And snakes too. I am a stay at home Mom.

  • how to stop cats from coming in my yard and attacking my cat?

My neighbor's cat has come right up on my deck two days in a row now and fought my cat. The first time my neighbor was out and brought her cat home. Today, they weren't around.

Asking them to keep their cats inside is not an option. They have a pet door for their animals.

I'm almost always around but I can't watch their every move.

    Suggestions welcome.

  • introducing a kitty to new home with no other pets?

Tomorrow we are bringing home an 8 month old Siamese mix little girl kitty. There are no other pets here. Just me, my hubby and our 7 year old son.

We're all excited! Do you have any tips on making this a smooth transition for all?

  • My son will be 7 and still wets at night...?

This Friday the 11th, my little dude will be 7. He is potty trained completely except for at night. He still wets and wears a pull-up to bed. I don't know what to do.

Any recommendations? I was told he'll out grow it...but so far he still pees a lot.

I limit drinks in the evening and I make him pee before bed so that his pull-up doesn't soak through. But I am at a loss for what to do next.

His pediatrician is aware of it...but do any of you moms out there have any more advice?

  • Question about birthday party invitations?

My son is having his first birthday in July. Now, I know ahead of time that my brother and sister in law will not be able to attend my son's party.

What is the proper thing to do about sending an invitation? Should I send one anyhow just out of courtesy?

  • what do you mean by "strawman"?

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I've seen a lot of Atheists use that term, and I admit...I don't know what it means!

Could someone please explain politely? :-)

  • Christians, why is it so hard to stop and pray when you are extremely irate?

What do you do when you are so angry you could scream and cuss and break whatever is in sight?

  • Can anyone suggest tips on starting my 10 month old with table food?

He has 2 bottom teeth. I've tried everything including apple sauce, mashed banana, cereal puffs and pieces of toast. He can't have it anywhere near his mouth or he gags and vomits all over his high chair tray. I've tried letting him play with table food on his tray to see if he'll put it in his mouth on his own, but he wont. Should I try another food, or should I wait until his 1st birthday in July to try again? Should I ask his pedi?

It's frustrating because he can't even have apple sauce without gagging. If his food isn't totally smooth, he chokes. Help??

  • sneezing question, spiritually speaking?

Does an atheist say "God bless you." when someone sneezes? Of if you are an atheist, do you get offended if someone says "God bless you" when you sneeze?

I ask partly because I'm curious, and partly because I hope you'll find it humerus.

    Have a good day...

  • Question for the born-again Christians...?

I'm sure we all know that Heaven and Hell are physical places and that Hell is most likely the center of the Earth. (do a bible study on Hell, it's interesting)

So, if the above is in fact true, where is Heaven? (if heaven is a physical place....now I'm thinking it's spiritual...help!?!)

Don't debate with me, that's not why I'm asking...just ideas on where you think Heaven is and why has it never been seen by NASA?

  • What does a mamogram feel like?

I've never had one before, and I'm not even sure at what age women start getting those done. I'm 30, is it too soon to start thinking about that?

  • Catholics...what the heck is purgatory?

Or anyone else who can answer? And tell me where in your bible you have read about purgatory?

Now _that_ to me is a made up fairy tale place.

  • for Atheists...?

what if you saw Satan instead of God/Jesus? (forgive me if it's been asked a gazillion times already.)

Just a different kind of question since everyone is asking what about this or what about that?

Suppose you DID see Satan...and he did not look like a man. What if he looked like the stereotype demon or devil? And you KNEW it was no costume. What then?

Go ahead, call me a nut, or a freak. Call me delusional. Whatever. Roll your eyes...hate me, laugh at me....make fun.

but just ask yourself. what if? what if it did happen?

  • Do you agree with what my agnostic friend said about what it would take for an atheist to believe in God?

My friend David is agnostic, as I mentioned. We had a lengthy conversation about life, religion, etc. It was nice because we were able to agree to disagree on somethings and he mentioned something about what it would take for atheists to believe in God.

Was wondering what your view was. Here is what he said.

He believes that it would take proof of beings on another planet with the same beliefs in God as Christians on Earth do to make atheists think twice about the existence of God. And he is someone who has questioned God himself.

It doesn't make sense to me, since I think you'll probably just say that they have "mental issues" just like the rest of us do.

However....what are you views on that anyhow?

  • question for police officers with significant others?

Does your wife/hubby or bf/gf get frustrated with the PD? For example, my hubby is a cop and the pd calls all the stinkin time. I know it's part of his job and they need him for OT or details, but it's really annoying after a while. Don't they know the guy needs his sleep? It's like they expect him to keep going and going and going. And I'm so tired of the phone ringing, thank God for caller ID. But then they don't just call the home phone, they call his cell right after. GRRRRR!

So, is this an issue in your home?

  • Do you believe in ghosts?

I personally don't. I do believe in the supernatural, like angels and demons. I also believe in God and the whole nine Christian yards...but not in ghosts.

    Just wondering what you believe...
