So i had to pick the one person I have NO IDEA what to buy in my works secret santa this year. I work at a pharmacy and I picked a staff pharmacist. I dont know much about her.. and i need some good ideas for gifts. There is a 25$ limit. She is young (mid 20's), shes very nerdy... she dresses very casual. She doesn't talk much. What I have gotten out of her is she likes to watch walking dead.. she's married, no kids. Other than that she doesn't speak! We arent supposed to do gift cards... so please help me! and give some good ideas!

Me and my boyfriend have been together for about a year. We share a home together. I have a 3 year old girl. He has a 10 year old girl, and a 9 year old boy. I have full custody of my daughter, and he has custody of his 2... they see there mother every other weekend.

At first both of his children were very well behaved, we got along very well, until they left for a month and went to there mothers to summer break. When they came back it seemed everything was different between me and his daughter. I am there main caretaker. Their father works nights, so after they get out of school they are at the house with me. I feel like I treat all of them equally. His daughter has just became disrespectful and mean the last couple months. She screams at the other 2 kids about what they should be doing. If I tell her to do something that she doesnt want to do she throws herself on the floor and screams "I want my mommy" and starts throwing an all out fit.

Today the three kids and I were at the dinner table and she was trying to watch a show while we were eating. My daughter was talking to me and his daughter turned to mine and said "YOURE AN ANNOYING BRAT JUST LIKE MS. H_ _ _ says!" ... come to find out she is talking about her counselor.

I just feel like I am at a loss. I dont know how to get control back before it is all lost. When I talk my boyfriend about it he makes me feel like I should know how to handle it BUT I DONT! It's damaging our relationship, and thats the last thing I want.

How can I get control and respect?

I know the meaning the apple doesn't fall far from the tree means that parents/children are alike.... so if someone said the "apple must have fallen underneath the tree" what does that mean? I am having a blonde moment. thanks.

So I have been invited by a friend to be his date at his works christmas party. He hasn't given me any details and.. all he said is dress "really nice" I have no idea what to wear? Please help!!!!

I am always late planning so I am trying to figure out my daughters birthday party a couple months early. Last year when she turned one I did the 1 year old princess theme and it came out great. This year I don't know what to do for when she turns 2. She likes Barney and Elmo but I'd rather do something girly. Does anyone have any ideas? I can't think of anything. It doesn't even have to be a theme with Charaters.... Her birthday is in January.. I was thinking a Luau kinda thing but I think it will be to cold. Thanks for your help!

I smoked weed for the first time in years bout two weeks ago. I had a drug test yesterday. Will I pass? I only smoked once and it wasn't very much.

My ex boyfriend who is also the father of my daughter claimed me as a dependent on his taxes this year. i did not work and did not file taxes, and i was unaware that he claimed me. Now I am trying to get back in to school and I am wondering if on my FASFA I have to say i am married? I need financial aide and am not sure how to go about this?

Me and my boyfriend have lived together for 3 years, and have a 12 month old child. We recently split up because he assaulted me. As of right now we have a rental house in both of our names where he is staying. I am wondering if he files his taxes and claims our daughter and I entitled to half of the return or do I get nothing? He is the only one of us that worked since I stayed home with the baby. Thanks.

My baby will be 4 months next week. I live in a very hot place, and i'm worried about my baby dehydrating when we are outside. Is there anything i can give her? I know that they are not supposed to have water at this age... is there something else? Or am I just not supposed to go outside?

My baby is one month old, and today I noticed she has started to get little red bumps all on the side of her face, and in her hair line. What could this be? what should I do?

My baby hates her bassinet. Everytime i put her in it she screams. she wakes up and wont go back to sleep. She wont sleep unless I am holding her, and the minute I put her down she wke up and screams. Has this happened to anyone else? What can i do to make her sleep in her bassinet?

I gave birth 5 days ago,and yesterday I got extreamly engorged. I primarily formula feed, and I decided I would try to get some breast milk in every now and then. I tried to express the milk, but it took 2 hours with a electric pump to take out 2 ounces, and 5 minutes later I was even more engorged then I was when I started? How do i Make it go away? How do I stop milk production all together?

my baby is 3 days old, and I just want to know if it's too soon to give her a sponge bath?

I was planning on being induced last Tuesday, but my amnio came back that the lungs were still immature. They are now mature, and I'm going to be induced on Monday night.

I just think it's strange that I have to go in at 8 at night, I really don't know anyone who has been induced...

so my question is, what should I expect? What are the steps? How was your experience being induced? Did you end up with a C-section?

I am 37 weeks 3 days today, and I had an amnio this morning. I was sceduled for induction tonight, and 5 minutes before I went to leave for the hospital, the doctors called me and said that the lungs were not mature not to go.

Why would the lungs NOT be mature? I read on all the sites that a baby is full term at 37 weeks.

Also, if you had an amnio around 37 weeks and they were not mature, how long did the doc make you wait before you had another?

I am going to the hospital to get induced tonight. The thing is, I can tell that my baby turned breech. Her head is coming out of the top of my stomach...

so my question is, when I go to the hospital tonight are they going to give me a c-section, or will they send me home and have to reschedule it? Thanks.

Okay, I will be 37 weeks on Sunday w/ my first, and I am going to be be induced on Tuesday night at 6pm, as long as the amnio comes back that the babies lungs are developed.

My doctor told me that the induction could take 1-3 days, so my question is, will I be in the hospital that whole time? Or do they induce you and then send you home until labor starts? My cervix is closed and hasn't done anything, so they will have to start from the beginning. When I go in on Tuesday, should I prepare to stay?

I am going to be getting induced on Tuesday, and my doctor said that it will take 1-3 days too work. My mom is telling me that you cannot eat when you are induced... so does that mean I am going to be starving for 3 days? I can't imagine not eating for that long... THANKS :)

I'm 36 weeks, and since yesterday, my skin started itching SO BAD. I never was too itchy before. I don't know what to do to help it. I put Palmers on it, and it started to burn. So then I put Curel motherhood, and that burned even more! HELP! I cannot stop scratching!

So I am 36 weeks 3 days, and my baby is in the transverse position. She is right under my ribs... I can actually grab her head if I wanted too. Anyways she is really hurting my ribs, to where I want to cry! Has this happened to you? Is there anything I can do to help with this? It's kind of unbearable, and the only way it feels even remotely better is if i stand up... and then my feet hurt :(.
