Just got a Doxycycline prescription this evening for a minor skin infection on my leg- I'll be on it for ten days. I also take birth control pills (I didn't mention this to my doctor because my mom was in the room with me and doesn't know I'm on the pill, woo super religious families). From what I've gathered, the Doxycycline will make my birth control less effective (which isn't really a concern for me because I'm not currently sexually active) but I just want to make sure the effects aren't permanent, right? Like when I finish my prescription of Doxy, my birth control will be effective again right? (or within 7-10 days, you get what I mean)

Two days ago (Tuesday night, it is now Thursday morning) I got a terrible calf cramp during my soccer game. My entire leg seized up and it hurt like heck. My coach came onto the field and did the stretch where you push the persons feet toward them while keeping their leg straight. That got rid of the seizing cramp feeling, however I had to stop playing because my leg felt really really tender and sore. Two days later, it is still sore to the point of being painful. Everytime I take a step it feels like my calf muscle is stretched to the breaking point. It's sore to the touch. I've been reading that they can be sore a couple days afterwards, but this seems really extreme. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks

I used to play WWF on facebook and get a notification everytime one of my friends made a move. Now I have an Iphone and have the WWF app, which gives me a notification on my phone when it's my turn. But I also get facebook notifications on my phone when its my turn, so im getting 2 notifications for the same thing, from different places. I wanna stop getting them from facebook because its more effort to get a notification from facebook. How do I stop getting WWF notifications from facebook for iphone? i have verizon

So I have a Windows PC, and it's getting old. Using Itunes on it to get new music is really a pain. My dad has a pretty new Macbook Pro. Can I buy music from the itunes store on his mac, burn the songs onto a CD, and then import the CD on to my PC? I just want to make sure it will work (like there won't be any problems because they're different types of computer) before I spend a bunch of money. Thanks!

I just moved from Florida to Maryland (I'm in high school). My style is pretty girly; I love skirts and dresses and flowy stuff. However, in Maryland in the winter, it gets COLD. I really don't want to have to wear jeans and pants everyday for five months, so does anyone have any tips on how to wear summer-y pieces like dresses and skirts in cold weather? So far the only tip I have is wearing a dress/skirt with a pair of tights and flats/boots. Thanks! Also if anyone has tips on things you can wear in winter besides jeans, that would be great. It's July...which means it's time to start thinking about my fall/winter wardrobe. LOL JK but not really....My problem is I find by November I'm wearing jeans and sweaters everyday. It gets pretty cold here in the winter. Does anyone have cute alternatives for colder weather? So far the only other idea I have is a skirts/dresses with tights underneath.

I'm going to NYC in mid-July for three days and want to go shopping! I don't mean like Prada or Gucci...I shop at Forever21 and American Eagle. I know they have those stores there. Do they increase prices cuz they know tourists are shopping there?

I'm looking for a good website to convert Youtube videos into MP3 files or my Ipod. I used to use Dirpy but it's gone, then I used clipconverter, but the past 2 times I've used it it's crashed my computer...and I don't like video2mp3 because you can't edit the song title or anything.

SO, if anyone knows any SAFE, efficient converter websites, please let me know. it's a plus if it has the option to edit the title and artist before it goes on your itunes, because my computer won't let me edit it from itunes. thanks!

I haven't watched Degrassi since last summer, like the Boiling Point episodes. I just saw a commercial for the new Degrassi episodes coming out soon that I really want to watch, but I'm not sure what's going on with the show. Can someone please fill me in on major events? (Who's dating who, who left/came on the show, any significant events) thanks!

For the next two weeks I have an SAT prep class in an office building in a fairly urban neighborhood. It's a little less than a mile walk to it from my house in a neighboring suburban community. I feel very uncomfortable walking to it by myself. To get to it requires walking through back streets that are populated by homeless people and it's kind of hidden. I am very familiar with street harassment; some of the scariest experiences have been in my own residential neighborhood, and I hate walking in urban areas by myself. Today I had a friend drive me, but for the next nine days I'm on my own. The class if from 11am-2pm, but I've experienced street harassment at all times. Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this? I'm a high school girl, if that counts for anything.

Please note- I'm not asking how to deal with homeless people...just street harassment (passing cars and walkers making comments, I even got followed one time by two men in a car.) Just trying to make it clear that these are not the safest, most up-kept streets.

Is there a way to get more? I've found some sites where you can download houses made by other players, but I'm a little skeptical (is it legal? safe?) So, I'm just wondering if there is anyway to add more pre-made houses to my game.

I am trying to re install the Sims 2 (no expansion packs, just the original) on my computer, a Dell, after having not played for a very long time. Here is exactly what I have been doing:

Insert Disk 1 into drive.

A window pops up, I get a few things like selecting language, but nothing that really seems to install it.

Then it takes me to that window with all the little mini games, like the matcher, that you play while you're waiting for it to load.

There's a little box with a bar that is loading. But every few percentages it gives me a pop up saying there was an error, asking me if I would like to quit or re try. I press retry, it loads 2 percent more, then does the same thing. I keep pressing retry until it gets to 100. When it's at 100, it just keeps popping up saying there was an error. When I press re try, nothing happens.

What are the steps for installing it?

What do I do with disks 2, 3, and 4?

PS, kind of a computer dummy, go easy on me :)

She and my dad are totally against pre marital sex, and my mom is always criticizing couples who do stuff like move in together before marriage. I just feel like a prisoner sometimes. I don't have a BF and don't plan on having sex soon, but I know I want to have it before marriage and I just hate how I can't even talk to her about it, because waiting until marriage seems so unrealistic for me. What do I do?!
