  • My cat hasn't been to the bathroom after small op?

My one-year-old cat had a small operation yesterday to stitch up a deep cut in her paw. She was put under a small general anesthetic as it was only for stitches. She has a plaster/stookie on her leg and has mastered walking with it.

However, she hasn't been to the toilet since yesterday and we are beginning to worry. She hasn't been drinking a lot, but has had wet food and no loss of appetite. She is an outdoor cat and is possibly stressed about being kept indoors, although she just seems to be sleeping a lot. She must need to pee by now but she won't use her litter.

Any advice? I don't want her getting kidney stones or a UTI :(

  • Similar in pattern but which one is nicer?

    1: http://www.tomsawyerwaistcoats.co.uk/store/showite...

    or

    #2: http://www.menswear-specialist.co.uk/products/Blac...

I'm aware that they're very similar but I just wondered which one people thought was nicer or for the guys, which one would you be most likely to wear?

  • Halter Neck Swimsuit?

So me and a friend are going on holiday to Majora in August and I can't really find any swimwear that I like. I'm conscious about my tummy so I don't think I'd wear a bikini.

I was thinking maybe a halter neck swimsuit that has a nice pattern on it (so that it's not too boring for going away on holiday) or a tankini. If anyone knows anywhere that I could get a nice swimsuit or tankini then that would be great! (:

  • Best hangover cure....?

I've discovered that tomato soup is a good one 'cause there's so much salt in it.

What do you do when you're hungover?

  • Good, inexpensive microphone for Skype?

I have a microphone built into my laptop but it's not the best quality and sometimes doesn't pick up everything. Was just wondering if anyone owns a decent one that's not too expensive as I don't think I'll use it a lot, just for Skyping and occasionally for gaming. Or if anyone has any recommendations? (:

  • ipod classic being awkward?

so i got an ipod classic for christmas 'cause i was running out of memory on my nano. :D

    but i'm not sure if there's a problem with it or not;

when a song finishes and goes onto another one, it makes a buzzing noise which then stops. it's like the noise a laptop makes when you insert a disk.

so i was wondering if this was normal for the ipod class as i've only ever had a nano?

also, i've only had it since christmas which was 4 days ago and i've lost count of the amount of times i've had to restart the silly thing. it just seems to freeze for no apparently reason.

is there something wrong with it and should i take it back to get another one?

    thaaaaaaaaankyou. :D

  • interview at BANK fashion?

on tuesday i have an interview for a new clothing store called BANK, that's opening at the local shopping centre.

here's the website if you've never heard of them: http://www.bankfashion.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/ser...

anyway, i havent a clue what to wear. it's a clothing store that sells all different types of brands e.g. henleys, lipsy, lacoste, gio-goi, superdry, etc.

most websites say that you should wear clean attire such as a suit but i think that would look too over-dressed and boring for this kinda of shop.

should i go with formal black trousers and a coloured cardigan? i really dont know what to wear even though the interview's not until tuesday.. i'd just like to get my outfit sorted and then that'd be one less thing to worry about.

any help would be muchly appreciated. (: x

anyone know of what i could wear or give me advice/tips on 80's fashion?

i dont want to be really overdressed but i want to look like i've made some effort. (:

  • who do i ask about...?

so i asked a question about going on the pill earlier:

    http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ah...

    anyways...

i'm just wondering if i have to book an appointment with a doctor to get the pill prescribed or can i see a nurse and still get it?

tbh, i'd rather see a nurse due to the fact that all the nurses at our surgery are female and therefore i'd feel more comfortable talking to them.

    any help would be fab.

    thankyouas. (:

  • advice about going on the pill?

if anybody at all can help me, it would be great. (:

me and my boyfriend are both 17 and have been together for over 7 months now, and we are perfectly happy. (:

i had a "scare" - if that's how you want to put it - last month when the condom split, but everything's fine as i've had my period after getting the morning after pill.

just for extra safety i'm thinking about going on the pill, but i'm just not sure how to go about it. planning on going to the doctor's tomorrow but i dont know what to say or anything.

my parents do not know that we're sexually active and i'd like to keep it this way. if i do get the pill, is there any way they can find this out from the doctor?

i also get cramps (not extreme) from my periods and my skin is quite bad just now. i've heard that the pill can help with both of these, so it seems like an added bonus.

if anyone has any advice they could share to help, that would be fantastic.

    thanks in advanced. (:

  • please help, i'm really quite scared?

i've been with my boyfriend for almost 7 months now and it's not the first time we've had sex. please dont go jumping to conclusions: we're both over the legal age and are perfectly happy together so i dont feel like it was a stupid mistake.

neither of our parents know that we are sexually active and we would like to keep it that way if possible.

we always use condoms and normally they're fine and dont cause any problems at all.

my period is due in the next few days and yesterday we had intercourse, only to find that the condom had split after. the contents of the condom fell out onto the bed but as usual, you never know if anything actually got inside or not.

although my periods never come bang on time and i've not technically missed mine yet, i'm still really worried incase i could be pregnant.

i'm really not sure what to do and am considering going to the pharmacy to get an ECP but am quite embarrassed about going to ask for it. as the intercourse was yesterday i still have time to take the ECP. i dont feel that telling my mum is an option right now.

my boyfriend is stressing the most as he feels he isnt ready to be a dad yet, which i totally understandable. so i feel like i have to be strong for him.

    so...

if anyone's been in a similar situation or can give me advice, it would be greatly appreciated. i have exams this month so anything to put my mind at rest would be brilliant. (:
