Hi...I'm an artist...and I need help with the dimensions.

I have 2,000 tiles that will be arranged in grid form. Each tile is 2 x 2, and there will be 1/4" space between each. There will be 5 rows, which I managed to figure out equals 11" tall...but I don't know how many columns...that's what I need help with.

Could someone tell me how many columns this would be, and how many feet across?

I would be so appreciative!

I have very short-cropped hair (think Will Smith-type hair). I cut my own hair with barber clippers.

...I don't mean every black hairstyle under the sun, but specifically, locs, cornrows and haircuts.

I'm thinking of starting up...thoughtful answers, please...I need some guidance.

Also, for the salon I would start locally, I would consider hiring a local woman that has a lot of clientele, and have her manage the place. I wear locs, but I don't know much about this business. My goal would be to begin franchising this thing.

I want to back-up my entire Macbook onto an empty pc that I have. The only way I can think to do that is with a bunch of dvd's. Is there any other way? FYI...I do not have internet on the pc, so I can't ftp.

I'm considering purchasing a used version of adobe illustrator cs (upgrade) for use with my macbook os x. Do I have to worry about the version being so old that it won't work on my mac?

I signed up for a free trial with eMusic...I downloaded some songs onto a CD, and then tried to put them on my ipod from there, but strangely enough, only 4 songs have gone into the playlist...I try to move the other imported songs over into the playlist, and they just won't show up there...what's going on?

I'm a Christian, and I want to be closer to the Lord...but honestly, when my three kids have finally fallen asleep, all I want to do is vedge-out on the computer, or read a book other than the Bible. Sometimes, I journal as a form of prayer...but not regularly. Please, only responses from strong Christians who walk closely with God.
