My son bought a used X Box game at Value Village and it says we must have an xbox hard drive in order to play. Is there another option instead of spending $130+ for an xbox hard drive?

  • I was caught speeding this morning. However, I am going to fight it. The reason why is posted later.?

I was following approx 300 meters behind another truck that was travelling about 80 into a 60km/hr construction zone. I enetered the construction zone at 92 and slowed to 89 holding that speed the entire way behind the first truck that entered. During this time a vehicle approached from the rear and as we exited the construction zone it was a CVSE(Commervial Vehicle) Officer who gave me the ticket for speeding. I am going to defend myself for 2 reasons. #1 the law of posted speed limits is absolute. (Essentially the first truck that passed the speed limit sign broke the law and he should have been stopped). #2. I recorded the officer on digital camera in movie mode admitting that the first truck was going fast and that he couldn't stop us both. (remember I was the 2nd truck) What is your thought on this and does anyone have any previous experience with this type of ticket....being the second speeder? Would you fight it if you had video proof that you are not the first to speed past him

  • A woman on facebook recen tly said she was a relative. What is the relationship. Info to follow?

My Great Grandmothers' brother. So that would be an extended great grandfather to me, then her grandpa and grandma would be extended grandma and grandpa to me and her parents would be extended aunts and uncles to me so is she just an extended cousin or is there a degree like 3 or 4?

  • How do online and manual ballots converge to pick one grand prize winner?

I am playing a contest where I have 3680 manual entries and 3790 online entries for a grand prize of one of two vehicles on two different draw dates. I enter a higher than usual amount because people throw away their prize entry tickets. So my question is this...the rules state that they will pick a grand prize winner from the online and ballot boxes....how do they do this when the manual ballots are different from the online ballots. Does someone sit there and enter them all online or does a giant computer spit out manual tickets with names on them from the valid email addresses. The manual tickets would take up a lot of space and be too heavy for someone to rotate in a drum as the contest is running in 5 provinces in Canada.

  • Has anybody else been on a lucky streak at the Casino?

I was at the Casino last night and with $40 on the roulette turned it into $1600. It seemed like every 2/3 spins I would hit betting 1st, 2nd, and 3rd 12's. Then tonight I won 7-$250 Jackpots at the max bet 15 quarter machines. I won it on 6 different machines and 1 won me 2 times in a row. So my question is has anyone else been this lucky in 2 nights or in one night?

  • I want to be the "Lead Truck' next year?

This is for the "lead truck" position at the Special Olympics Convoy which is held every year across North America in various cities. The run I want to "lead in" is Alberta, Canada. The driver with the highest donations get to lead the "convoy" of trucks which departs from Edmonton to Red Deer and from Calgary to Red Deer and meet up to have a barbeque with special olympic athletes. Donations collected are given to the Special Olympics. This is my 1st time to enter and the company that I work for has never attended although they are Alberta based. My goal is start early and be the top of donations for next years run and in doing so benefitting others. You can Paypal any donation to jcadol@shaw.ca or send cheque or money order to R. Simmons...203-1021 Howay Street, New Westminster, BC, V3M1Z9 Since I am collecting by donation and will donate on good faith I do not have a charity number.

  • How long will it take before my tongue gives up the gag reflex on Dentures?

I am 35, just had my operation on Friday and was inserted with a full upper denture. I have to wait until February for the gums and bone to heal before I get the bottom partials. I was fine until later in the evening on Friday when my gag reflex started going so I had to take them out. However when sleeping I didn't notice them. I have tried many times in the last 2 days to deal with the issue and it seems to be getting better, but my gums are still sore and trying to talk with them makes me sound funny. So there are actually 2 questions. Will the gag reflex stop with continued usage and how can I eat or is it when the gums are healed fully that I can put pressure on the upper dentures to eat a broader choice of foods than the blended diet I am currently using.
