I haven't even went to my credit union or looked into any financing yet. I'm not too sure how I will pay for a house right now, I've never bought property before.

Will the realtor showing me the house be questioning me about these things? I basically just want to see what the inside looks like so that I don't pass up an opportunity. The house is only 19k. I'm sure I can borrow at least 5k from family for a down payment. Is that good?

Where it says, "money received, or paid on your behalf (e.g., bills), not reported elsewhere on this form." Do they want to know how much money I paid out to bills last year???

Had my car towed to the shop after the serpentine belt came off. Since I had to get to work I got a ride from a friend, so I wasn't physically at the shop it was towed to. I called that day to see the status. They said the car hadn't been checked out yet and to call the next morning. I mentioned it would need a new tensioner arm (I had the car there a month ago and they said it may need one soon). The guy agreed and said it probably would, and that they'd know when they got it into the garage.

The next morning before noon they left a message at my home and said the car was done.

NO estimate. NO communication before they even did anything to it. I looked it up and it is law here in MI that they write an estimate and give it to me before they can even work on the car. So, the day after I picked up my car from the shop (it was after hours, they just left the keys under my visor so I could get it) I had someone pick the bill up from the shop for me since I couldn't get there.

I get the bill and it's $415 and not only was the tensioner replaced---but also a "leaking waterpump". My waterpump was put in brand new this past summer---it wasn't leaking. I was overcharged for those parts and they charged me $195 for labor.

ALL THIS without my consent! So---what would you do? I'm not paying for anything I didn't authorize. I'm only paying for what I wanted----a new tensioner and my belt put back on, plus labor of course.....but not for that waterpump or anything else.

I've already researched a little but can't seem to find a direct answer...

1. Do I have to apply to the school(s) BEFORE I can fill out the FAFSA?

2. Do I have to have my '08 taxes done BEFORE I can fill out the FAFSA?

3. Do I have to know what courses I want to take before I fill out the fafsa?

I need to factory restore, but I lost my factory restore disk. I have the serial # on the side of the computer, and a seperate XP Home Upgrade Disk borrowed from a friend.

My question is, will taht serial # on the side of my PC work? Or, should I call Microsoft and will they give me a new serial? What should I do?

Hello. I have 2 PCs. One for internet, the other for non internet use.

I have a external USB2.0 drive which is formatted in NTFS. Adding files to it on my one PC, they show up and are accessable, as are files added from the other PC. But swapping the drive to the offline PC, those added are simply not there.

Adding to that, files and folders deleted while on the other PC, are still there, and cannot be removed (files are corrupted).

I have tried error-checking the drive on restart, but it helped none.

Is there any way I can update what exists and dosent exist on this drive?

I know the answer will probably be washing ALL OF MY CLOTHES, and then storing them in an airtight container, and then spraying pesticides all over---but, if you have easier advice, please help.

I personally think that he should be forced to not only pay the courts, but mainly to donate a years pay to the Humane Society of the United States. I also think that instead of a slap on the wrist and possible jail-time of up to 5 years, he should be imprisoned for at least 7-10 years and not be allowed to play football anymore. And, another little wish, that he would get his sorry a$s whooped while he's in prison, just like all the poor, abused dogs he was responsible for.
