  • Thinking of going to the states to travel.?

Sorry for so many questions trying to keep it as short as possible! So i'm from Scotland and just wondering the best places in the USA to check out. I'd love to visit the whole country if i could but obviously thats not going to happen in a few weeks. I've never been to America before so i'm just wondering do Americans like Scottish people and how do they think of them, like do you think we throw logs, wearing a kilt, eating haggis and have ginger hair like Willie out of The Simpsons haha? Would i get any funny looks because of my strong Glaswegian accent? Also wanting to travel to a music festival in Miami which looks amazing! Thanks for any help!

  • Do you think the ringing in your ears when its silent is covering up something? Is this statement true?

You know that ringing sound that you will perceive when you are in a very quiet area? Some people say this is an auditory-illusion brought about the ear’s inability to detect frequencies below the threshold of the human senses. This is completely wrong. That ringing covers up something else altogether. If you are quick, patient, and maybe a little lucky, you will be able to hear past the ringing. What you will hear are voices whispering to each other. They will silence themselves quickly but with practice, you will become more adept at catching and interpreting what they are saying. You will hear things of the past, the present, and the future. However, you must be careful. Because there is no such thing as a voice without a body.

And when you start noticing them, they will start noticing you.

  • Employer not paying me for work that i done?

I left recently because i was disgusted with the way they cared for the elderly an didn't want to be a part of. I phoned the manager asking when i will get my 3 day pay and she has told me it was only "work experience". As i have an NVQ 3 in Care and have worked in the care all my life that is rediculous. Nothing was mentioned in the interview apart from it was a full time job. I phoned again and now shes telling me "i'm not getting paid" and slammed the phone down which is appauling. I phoned back later and asked which someone claimed to be the company director said i only worked half a shift. Which is not the case i worked 33 hours thats week. Can anyone give me some info on what to do?

  • Why is Religion so harsh?

I don't believe or disbelieve in heaven or hell or god etc, i think its very much unfair for people to say "Oh you're Agnostic, Christian, Muslim eg you're going straight to hell" I just don't think its right for someone else to say that you're going to burn in hell for not believing in what that person believes in. If this "God" loves us all why would he send any of us to hell?!
