Ok, we're studying genetics in life science, and I'm really rather good at it. The thing I don't get, though, is if you're born a blonde how come as you get older sometimes your hair gets darker? I'm not talking about when you're old and your hair turns gray. My brother, for example, he had blonde hair until he was about 5 or 6 when it started turning black. My dad, he had blonde hair till he was a teen and it turned brown. My mom's hair went from blonde to a almost brown color when she was in her twenty's. Why does this happen?

My phone is from verizon wireless and it's an alias. When it's closed there is a button on the left side that says 'hold'. What does this button do? I've tried looking in the manuel and all, but I haven't seen anything that tells what it does.

I've read about kisses that are all gooey and all if you have lip gloss on, but I've never read anything about chapstick. So...is it okay to kiss with chapstick on?

Ok, this is going to be really long, but please help. Last Wednesday, I broke up with my boyfriend, because my feelings for him sorta...decreased, if you know what I mean. Well, the next day these three guys came up to me and the first guy said, " Do you and _____ still go out?" (the _____ is where the name of my ex-boyfriend went.) I told them no. Then the second one said, "Did you break up with him?" I told them yes. After that, they walked away and the conversation was over. Well, while my feelings for my currently ex-boyfriend had decreased, they had increased for a guy. This guy was not in the group of boys I just talked about, just so you know. However, I don't LIKE-like this guy, but I do like him as more than a friend.

Ok, back to the guys from the previous conversation. The third one (the one that didn't say anything) started joking around and telling people I was his girlfriend. He would also wrap his arm around my waist, and walk places with me, and just recently he asked me out (using myspace). I'm not sure if I should tell him yes, though. I got all excited when I read the message he wrote me, asking me to go out with him, and I actually do kinda like it when he puts his arm around my waist. I think I may, just MAY really like him, but I'm not sure. He's a real charmer, too. His myspace mood right now says, "_____ and michaela soon to be together and 4 ever." Once again, the blank is where his name was. If I didn't like anyone else, I would say yes without thinking twice, but there's the other guy which I sorta like. I know this is all confusing since I'm not using actual names, and I'm sorry, but any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to anyone who answers!

I was wondering because sometimes in books they have "okay" and sometimes they have "OK." Does OK stand for something, because sometimes in the same book it will have both words. Thanks for all your help!

I was just wondering because I want to make a HUGE family!

Ok, I like this guy, but he's well...ok, here's the deal. Girls treat him sorta like another girl, you know? Like, girls will come up to him out of nowhere and say, "Hey ____!" And give him a hug. Or sometimes he'll hug a girl first (and she'll of course hug him back). He gets nervous around me, though, and never tries to hug me. I'm not ugly or anything, though. I think he likes me, but...It kinda makes me sad when I see him hugging other girls, or sitting in a chair with some other girl. Ugh! I'm not sure really what the question is, but any advice?

More details: He's not gay. He's not a pimp. In fact, on a scale of 1-10 on how cute he is I'd probably give him a...hmm...A 5.

Oh, Also: He talks to me some, and acts different around me than he does with other girls. More...nervous, and...I don't know. He just treats me like...I'm different, I guess. Does this mean he likes me or do you think he is just trying to be polite by talking to me?

Well, there's this guy and he sits in front of me in math class and at first I thought he didn't like me because at lunch there was an empty seat between me and his friend and he started to sit down, but all of a sudden he was like, "Oh no," and went to sit somewhere else. Then, like, a week or two later he kept turning around and talking to me during math class. He acted kinda nervous, too. Like, his hands would shake, and he'd have nervous laughs every now and then. I was really happy that he was talking to me because I have a crush on him. But then, my math teacher got on to him for turning around and talking so much, so...*sigh* Anyways, does he like me? If he does, why didn't he want to sit by me at lunch?

Okay, so I've been dating this guy for a while, but I realize he's more like a friend than a BOYfriend. So, how do I tell him I just want to be friends without hurting him?
