  • Help Hardcore Gamers please?

I am about to buy my first HDTV and I want to ensure it is the best for gaming overall. I've done lots of reading and I want to know if anyone out there has a reliable brand or model for balancing quality and input lag while using game mode on their TV. We play every console, XBOX360, PS3, WII and 360 Kinect. Most information I am finding on the net is out dated a year or more. Please help?

  • How to stop sorting issues in Excel 2010?

I have lots of experience with older versions but this new worksheet I am making isn't sorting correctly. I have one column of part numbers that are all mismatched with the names in the second column now and I don't even know how that happened. I am not using macros or VBA, just the drop down auto filters that always worked perfectly in the earlier versions. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

  • Costs for a personal bookkeeper?

I have just moved and when I start working again I want to see about getting a bookkeeper since I will admit I'm pretty horrible with money. I'm living in Washington state currently and I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me how much this might cost for an individual. I'm also wondering if you currently have a bookkeeper or had one for your personal finances, is it worth the cost? Thank you for your time!

  • Evo Shift and eye strain?

I just got an Evo Shift a week ago and I bought Invisashield Screen Protectors for it. Within one or two days my eyes were bloodshot and since I work on a computer all day (which I have for 6 years), didn't get much better for the remainder of the week. I thought it could be the brightness, so I turned that down. I thought my eyes might need to adapt so I tried not to use my laptop at home and take a break from TV screens and such. Now it seems after all the tech-breaks I've been taking (which you can imagine are torture lol) I can tell when looking at the phone that my eyes are in pain after only a few minutes of looking at it. I'm afraid that it might be this new phone that I love so much but I'm wondering if it could also somehow be the screen protector (desperate hope) since I have never used this brand before? Has anyone else had any of these issues? Did you figure out if it was in fact the phone's screen or not?

  • Why does this yoga move hurt?

If doing the downward dog is hurting my wrists badly, is there some kind of exercise I can do to prevent that? Is there something I can do to strengthen my arms enough so that it won't hurt? Is it possible this could be caused by not having a mat? I've been doing it on the carpet in my living room but I can imagine that might not be the same as having a mat. Thank you for any help you can provide.

  • Coral Reef Rock House or Structure?

I saw something on TV or the internet a while ago about an old structure a guy made from Coral Reef Rock. The structure had a door and a table and walls. It was a big tourist spot and I thought it was in Florida but I can't find ANYTHING online no matter what I search. I'm starting to think I dreamed it up or something which is really creeping me out. Any help would be great, thanks! :)

  • Bath and Tile Caulking poisonous?

I'm researching caulking since we need to replace the moldy caulking we already removed. I have read on this site http://www.factsfacts.com/MyHomeRepair/caulk.htm

that Bath and Tile will be more mildew resistant. He also mentions that it shouldn't be used anywhere near food or drinking water and that they can't use it in dishwashers because the heat causes the mildewcide to come off on the dishes and be ingested. My concern is that we do take hot showers (duh) and our cats food and water dish is in our bathroom. The whole bathroom gets steamed up when we shower even with our fan running and I'm just wondering if I should be concerned about poisoning my cat? Thank you!

  • Alternatives to caulking or grout?

We have a cheap plastic cover on the walls around our shower and tub. The old caulking was super gross and moldy so my boyfriend removed it and I'm working on cleaning up any remaining mold but when he tried to replace the caulking we found that most of the areas requiring it are an awkward shape or gap that seems to need so much caulk it won't dry completely or when it does it peels right off after a shower or two. I'm wondering if there are some other options to sealing up these areas that I'm unaware of, maybe something like a tape? Any ideas or just confirmation that those are my only options would be great! Thank you!

  • How do people start making money from ads on their websites?

I'm pretty sure I understand some of the basics. If I'm wrong, please tell me the correct info. I believe that a person can be paid for ads on their personal websites and blogs based on traffic to their site. I'm just wondering how that is initiated? How would a person get started or open "business" for ads? Is there a process or middle-man you have to go through? Any info would be awesome, thanks!!

  • Scalp Fungus, NOT ringworm, treatments?

I'm pretty sure I have athlete's foot or something like that on my hairline and all I can find are treatments for ringworm on the scalp and I KNOW it isn't ringworm. I know I can try vinegar although that's scary in my hair. Fungal creams can't be used on the scalp and other treatments like clear nail polish I can't use near my hair. I think I might just have to do the vinegar and some sites say to water it down so I'll probably try that. Any other ideas?

  • How do I neutralize plastic smell from new jeans?

I bought new jeans from Lane Bryant and the girl sent the wrong color. I tried to wash them before wearing and followed the cleaning instructions but when pulling them out of the dryer, they smelled like burnt plastic. I think I may not have gotten all the excess dye out or something but otherwise I washed them again in hot water to try removing more dye but they still smell like plastic and that smell gives me major headaches. I have already contacted them about a replacement or exchange pair but does anyone know how I can neutralize that odor? Something I can add to the load, like baking soda or something? Any ideas would be helpful, thanks!!

  • So everyone says that emotion is soooo bad when it comes to policy and government....?

but why is it so bad? Almost everyone in Government is either fake or robotic! Joe was just angry and you know where anger comes from boys and girls? Lies and injustice, that's where! None of you will ever believe anything could be wrong with Obama and that's a cult, black or white, that's scary. Anger is healthy because it makes you fight for what is right and not cower in fear of being racist or offensive! I don't think Obama is evil or even thinks he's lying but he obviously was lying (misinformed or not) if they fixed the loophole the next day.

  • What about color fadeout for curly hair?

    I have been on here searching for tips to prevent hair color fadeout and see a bunch of awesome ones. The only issue is that rinsing in cold or cool water I can do, but I use two shampoos and a conditioner that I leave half in so I can get my beautiful curls. I'm worried that cold water won't;

    1) clean my hair as well

    2) allow the conditioner to seep in and do what it does

    3) rinse the conditioner out properly.

Let me clarify the bit about rinsing the conditioner above. I use a conditioner that can be rinsed out or left in and I found that rinsing out most of it and leaving a slight coat of the conditioner on the surface makes my curls perfect, bouncy and frizz-free ringlets without styling products so I won't budge on that routine, but are the concerns I've listed valid or are they in my head? I'm starting to realize if heat styling isn't good for hair, really hot water probably isn't either. Is that right?

Also, another tip said to use special shampoos like Artec and stuff but when during my shower hair routine do I use that since I already shampoo twice? Do they make shampoos for color and curls? I can't give up my curl'n'shine shampoo, unless anyone knows of one that's better and can kill both birds if you know what I mean.

  • Has anyone used buymywreck.com?

I just want to know if it's a scam.

Or if I call a junkyard what do I tell them about the car? Will they pay me more for it if I don't mention it isn't working?

Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

  • If Obama is so great and Bush was so horrible...?

If Obama is so different from Bush and they are in no way cut from the same cloth-

If Obama is the "Change" we needed, then why isn't he re-opening the 9-11 Investigation? Why hasn't he repealed the Patriot Act? Is it possible, just maybe that both of those things he could care less about if they give the Government more control? Most of all, why does that not bother the American public? What happened to all the people who believed 9-11 was an inside job? If you are not going to believe one awesomely-powerful-president guy, then why believe the next awesomely-powerful-president guy? Because he's "opposing" the other guy so if he isn't talking about it then we were all wrong?

If you believe that he's doing the best for us by ignoring what Bush did then you're a hypocrite.

  • Is it possible to make my employer pay for a treadmill desk?

I have been wanting something like this for years and just found two sites that sell it. I don't have $800.00 to $5000.00 in spare cash to buy one though.

I feel like my work should pay for it since it's their workplace and I've already been sitting for 4 years straight doing customer service over the phone and now I'm in the scheduling department. I have a tall desk and it would be perfect to just walk all day. I just need to know what I have to do for my employer to pay for it. Any help?

  • What kind of fruit tree is this?

We have a tree in our yard yielding what I think looks like a small peach but with more like a cherry skin and when ripe it's reddish orange. My boyfriend says it looks like a tomato but when we cut it open it looks and smells like a plum but just isn't the size or color to be one. We live in the Northwest, Washington State near Seattle. What could this be?

  • When trying to publish a book wouldn't you protect your story or content with a copyright?

I want to publish my own writing and I might use Lulu.com to self-publish it online but I want to be sure I don't need to protect it before doing that. And if I do, how would I do that? Thanks!
