  • Problem with 1991 Johnson Evinrude 40hp? Fuel Pump?

When I start the engine, it seems like it is starving for fuel and dies. It will remain running if I hold the key pushed in, which seems to force gas into it. Any ideas?

  • Why does my computer have a slow startup?

Recently, my laptop computer has become really slow to start up (about 6 1/2 minutes from start to all the way up to initial screen). I have done a disk defrag, disk cleanup, and I have dumped unnecessary files. I even took out about 2 GB of pictures and backed them up on my external hard drive. It seemed to start after I downloaded a google toolbar (can't say for sure this was the start of it) that was included in another program. I have uninstalled the google tool bar and the new program and it still has a slow start. Any ideas?

  • Where can I find the value of old 45rpm records?

My grandmother has given me a large collection of old 45 rpm records to sell and I have no idea where to start! eBay records seem to just be selling for $0.99 and these records have got to be worth more than that! Where could I start to find the value of these records and then find a buyer?

  • Anyone remember the plastic pencils....?

I used to love the plastic pencils that when the lead was low, you'd pull out the plastic encased lead and push it back in the top to reveal a new one. They had a lid (cap) that had an eraser on it. Now, my daughter loves them and I really want to find some? Anyone know what they are called and where I can purchase them?

  • Wedding help regarding Children!?

A couple years ago, my husband's cousin got married and I realized the invite did not include my children's names. It surprised me, considering his family is sooooo family oriented and the kids are always invited to everything, so I called her to ask if they were invited. I was told they were not and that the only children that were invited to the reception were the children in the wedding party and the children of those in the wedding party. Then I found out that several children attended that didn't meet that criteria. Matter of fact, my children were the only children on this side of the family that didn't attend (and it's not about their age, there were others there of the same age). We went to the wedding, but we did not attend the reception. My husband's family was very hurt and tried to work things out with his sister (the bride's mom). Well, it's happening all over again, this time with the bride's brother's wedding. Should I even attend the wedding this time??

  • Potty training help!!! Daughter will not potty in the toilet at babysitters!?

My 2 1/2 year old has been completely potty trained for a month, but there is a problem! She WILL NOT go potty in the toilet at the sitters! Everywhere else, she wears big girl panties and goes potty, no matter who is around. She even wakes up in the middle of the night to go potty! I am at my wit's end. I don't understand it! When I ask her why she won't go at the sitter's, she says "Maybe tomorrow Mommy, don't worry 'bout it!" or she'll say "I'm playing, Mommy". The sitter says my daughter tells her she doesn't have to go when she asks, but comes to her when her Pull-Up is wet (I have to put her in Pull-ups there because she has had too many accidents on the carpet!!) The sitter is a home situation and the only other kids that are there on part-time basis are the sitter's granddaughters, ages 7,4, and 1 1/2. I have tried everything, letting her pick out her own new panties, lots of praise, and even bribery (Chuck E Cheese is the ultimate reward) but nothing! Help, please!
