  • Help, please. I need to go to the emergency room?

I woke up this morning with a horrible cough. Throughout the day, it just progressively got worse. At this point, I can barely breathe. When I breathe, I wheeze.

After I cough, I literally choke for about 20 seconds. No air comes in or out of my lungs.

    I'm miserable.

    Here's the catch;

At my job, I can't take a day off unless it's a family emergency, or I have written consent from a doctor. I will lose my job, if I can't prove that there's something wrong with me.

But, I only have about $40 to my name. I can't pay for an ER visit. I literally feel like I'm going to die, or choke to death while I'm sleeping.

    What should I do?

  • Is my boyfriend controlling? 10 points?

I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 2 years now. We've been through a lot together, which I thought made us stronger.

Recently, I've seriously been questioning whether my boyfriend is controlling or not. All of my friends tell me he is... but they have a biased opinion. I wanted to ask you guys (unbiased) what you think.

Below, I've written a list of things he does.

1.) He doesn't like me going out with my friends. He wont let me use the car if I want to see my friend of 14 years. He says he doesn't want to "waste gas". But he will drive to another city on weekends, to see his friends.

2.) He throws a tantrum over little things. This morning, I woke up, at I wasn't even awake for 15 MINUTES, before he got mad at me for not going out to get cigarettes for us. I have work later today, and I just wanted to relax.

3.) He owns everything we have in our apartment. This computer I'm typing on? He bought it. My phone? His. TV? His. Literally everything I have, he bought. I thought at first that this was him being sweet... but now he holds it over my head.

4.) Out of the 2 of us, I'm the only one with a job. He has a savings account, with quite a bit of money and doesn't need to work. I only get a $200 paycheck a month, and I'm trying to help out with the bills. But he insists I work harder to get what we need. (This is one of our biggest problems, because I'm the only one with a job. I feel he doesn't have the right to tell me to 'work harder', when I'm the only one working. I've left school to continue working, while he's still in College. )

5.) He says HORRIBLE things to me when we get in fights. He tells me that I'm acting like a child for crying, that I'm a b****, that he doesn't feel loved, etc. Even last night, I spent 45 minutes in front of the stove, cooking his dinner. I made sure he ate first, because he was really hungry. I also baked him a cake afterwords. My dinner, was a microwavable dish of mac-n-cheese, that took 4 minutes to make. I don't understand how he can say that I don't love him, when I pour my heart and soul into making him happy.

6.) He constantly reminds me that he can leave whenever he wants.

7.) He's broken up with my once, after cheating on me, and I forgave him. But he acts like he'll do it again.

8.) He complains that I'm "always mad", when I feel like I just can't talk to him without consequences.

9.) He hardly pays attention to me, but demands my full attention.

    10. ) He makes things vague. If I need to drive to work, he'll tell me that he's taking the car to see friends, and might not be back in time to get me to work.

I hope you guys will have some answers for me.

I appreciate your time, and want to thank you in advance.

  • Could this be a headache? Or...?

The left side of my head has a sharp pang, every time I move my left eyeball to the right. What on earth could this be?

  • EMERGENCY: Puppy chewed through live laptop cord?

My 3 pound chihuahua managed to chew through the laptop cord, while it was in use. It electrocuted him, and almost all of the silver wires are broken.

Almost immediately after, the poor pup threw up.

Is this something I should be extremely worried about? I'm worried that he'll die, although he seems fine right now. Just a bit shaken up.

    What should I do?

  • HELP! How to tuck my shirt in...?

I'm starting a new job today, which requires me to tuck in my shirt.

Now, I have some curves, at it doesn't look good with just shoving my shirt in my pants. I end up getting a "muffin top" effect.

Does anyone have tips/tricks on how this lady can look good with tucking her shirt in?

  • Is my fiance controlling, and what should I do...?

    Alright. A little background here:

I've been dating my Fiance for about 2 years. In the beginning, we had the best relationship. We never fought, and were absolutely perfect together.

Recently, things have been dwindling down to nothing between us.

    And the present:

I think my fiance may be mentally abusive and controlling. I didn't see it at first, but I've realized that there are signs of an abusive relationship.

    - He puts me down almost constantly

    - He doesn't like me around my friends

    - He threatens to leave me almost daily

    - Doesn't care if I'm on the floor crying, he wont console me.

    Etc.

If he were any normal guy, I would have broken it off with him. But I love him more than I've ever loved anyone in my life, and we have a home and a dog together.

He also (when we're not fighting) is the sweetest man on good days. He makes me laugh, and takes care of me.

    So my question is,

    Is he abusive?

Is attitudes are all over the place. He's left the house 3 times today (and is now staying the night at someone else's house) because he simply "doesn't want to hear me talk".

BQ: What should I do about this?

Even if he is controlling, I'm legally obligated to share this apartment with him for the rest of the year. I have no car, no family, no possessions... just him. What should I do?

  • Why can't I sleep? Up for 35 hours?

I've been up for almost 35 hours now. I can't sleep... no matter what I do. I've tried every trick in the book- from warm milk, to medicine.

    What do I do?

    I just CAN'T sleep?

I'm really nervous that I'll faint during the day, if I don't get some rest in.

  • HELP. Period... interview... Ladies, quick!?

My period came this morning, just as I woke up. I'm terribly sad and sleepy when I'm on my period.

I also have cramps that nearly bring me to my knees. It's horrible.

I happen to have a very important interview tomorrow, as well.

HOW can I make my period symptoms go away, so I can function at a 11:15am interview?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Ear stretching question?

I had my ears stretched a while ago, and I took them out. My ears healed back to a 18g size.

Last night, I stretched them to a 14g.

How long should I wait until I stretch to a 10g?

  • How to report someone on the internet to the police?

On Tumblr, there's a blog that is a "confession blog" for odd thoughts you have. You submit things you've done, or want to do.

There's one post in particular that caught my attention.

"I like to stick needles in my cat's paws, and watch her walk around in pain".

This is animal cruelty... and I hate the thought that this is anonymous.

How do you report someone (that was anonymous)? I feel like this is too much, and I can't- with good conscience- pass this by.

Any answers are appreciated. Unless you post a link to the video "I will report you to the cyber police. You done goofed".

    Thanks in advance.

  • Flat stomach after pregnancy?

I had a baby a little over a year ago. I've been working on getting back into shape... and I've almost gotten there. I weigh a little over 120lbs.

I'm skinny now... don't get me wrong. But I want a TONED stomach. And for some reason... it's not as easy as B.B. (Before the baby).

Any tips on how to get a flat stomach after having a baby? I've lost the weight, I just need toning. Thank you so much in advance!

  • Vagina talk... Does it smell?

My friend Ashley told me this morning that her boyfriend told her he can "smell" when she's having her period. Personally, I always thought that there was a certain 'scent' to a woman's period. But he seems to have some sort of problem with it.

Is it NOT normal to have a certain scent during your period?

  • Porn... Porn addiction?

There's this guy (Steve) who has had a girlfriend (Mary) of 2 years. They live together.

Mary got on his computer today, to set a funny picture to his background as a joke.

When she clicked on the search-bar for google, the words

    "Tubekitty"

    and

    "Celebrity Sex"

popped up. They were in Steve's history, so Mary knew that Steve had been looking at it.

Mary and Steve haven't had sex for weeks, and she feels like he's un-attracted to her. After seeing these, she confronted him- and he got mad at her.

What would you do in Mary's situation?

  • Stomach ache while/after smoking?

Before 4pm, I get pains in my stomach when I smoke cigarettes. They're horrible pains... and I can barely move once they start.

    But here's the odd part:

AFTER 4pm, it doesn't hurt to smoke any more. I could chain smoke for the rest of the night, without any symptoms.

What in the world is causing this?

  • Can I put an outfit on my puppy?

Today, we got a 7 week old baby Chihuahua. It's ADORABLE.

But you know what I think would make it even cuter? A little shirt, or sweater.

My boyfriend says that it's too young to put clothes on. But I've read that since Chihuahua puppies get cold often- It's a good idea to put something on them to keep them warm.

At 7 weeks... is this a bad idea?

Do you know of any Cons?

    Thank you in advance.

  • SHORT QUESTION: Should I be worried?

My boyfriend and I found the PERFECT apartment. It's close to school, affordable, nice interior... There's just one thing.

A man was stabbed to death in the parking lot of these apartments in January. This isn't a common thing here, and it's in a nice place. This has only happened once.

Is it still a bad idea to move there?

  • Video games to live a better life?

I've realized recently, that my boyfriend uses video games to escape reality. Now, when he has something to do, he stresses over it to no end.

When school starts again in the Fall, I know he's going to be a really angry person. So for the summer, I've just tried to let him relax and have a careless atmosphere.

That includes video games almost 24/7.

Now, don't get me wrong. I love video games. I play them quite often myself. But he told me that he's using the games to create an "alternate reality"... so he doesn't have to deal the stress of real life.

I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing. I wouldn't mind him doing this to occasionally relax.

But I've realized that he's TOO into creating a different world. He's miserable in the real one.

    So my question:

How can I make him feel more relaxed with his life, so he doesn't feel the need to "escape" as often? This habit takes all of his waking day... from 10am to 3am the next day. Constant.

How can I make him happier in his every day life? I hate seeing him so upset.
