Ok so can anyone tell me: I started birth control pills yesterday, and my period was supposed to start today or in the next one or two. My question is, since I started the pill yesterday will I still get my period today or will I start in the next month/4 more weeks ?

So I wanna get my hair cut before school starts (in 5 days... Totally didn't wait til the last minute) and I'm not sure what to ask for,. My bangs are just slightly longer than in my profile picture and my hair is long and half straight half wavy. My layers are long and grown out and my hair doesn't quite go past my boobs. I want to keep it about the same length, maybe only like an inch or two shorter so just a trim but i don't know what to ask for for my layers, I wanna look like the girls in the pictures, especially my bangs. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything special I should ask for other than short layers... cause I really don't know!!! Hey guys, so i'm writing a paper on Political Music for school and part of the paper right now is to make a timeline. I have been searching all day for events that will be relevant but I don't have any. I have The Carnation Revolution, Woodstock, 1967 Summer of Love, Monterey Festival, and 1964 feminist music erupting. That's all I have, and I am hoping to find more information on the Motown Label too, but i havn't yet. If you have any events or ideas that would be relevant I would be super happy if you told me :)

Events in independent music prior to 2000?

I am writing a paper for history day and my topic is "the right independent musicians have to use politically and diverse charged music to change style and sound of modern music", and I need an event to mount it to, also I am not so sure about how I used the word "diverse" because it isn't exactly what I mean, for lack of a better word. But yeah!! If you know any events prior to 2000 in the independent music word that would be uber helpful, mostly anything works.

So for NHD (national history day) this year the theme is "rights and responsibilities" and I wanted to write about Independent music artists and labels. You must be willing to root your topic in an event, movement or with a person or document(s) and it must be prior to 2000. I was thinking I could write abut how Indie artists have the rights and abilities and responsibilities to swaying the popular music of the time and how they can change the style and sound of it. But I'm not sure if I would get away with that, if people would see it as a responsibility and right how I see it. Plus I don't have the event, movement or person. I was thinking a musical event or festival but I don't know about any really that would be helpful. So if you have any ideas at all, it is much appreciated!!!!!

I just really wanna share.

Ok, so I need two primary sources (documents written in the time of my topic) and I am having trouble finding any, that would be useful, and help is appreciated. And my time range is about 1880-1890 ish, similar is good, and also if it is about impressionism/post impressionism is also helpful, also it would be good if you just told me how to fund it, this is the first time with an assignment like this.

Ok, so this punk at church is being really mean to me, he hit me two times in the face with a pillow, threw checker pieces at me, threw a football at me twice and one time hit me in the nose, I bled a lot. Anyways, he is just being a punk and I don't want to deal with him, so if he bothers me again, I am going to call him a ridiculous name. Any thoughts? PS. We are "friends" so he won't get mad at me, and the name can't be that mean, just really confusing to him. I just want him to get annoyed and leave me alone. I am about ready to slap him.

Sometimes I feel like a horrible artist, like everything I make is just horrible and I should just give up. I try to draw something and it comes out just horrible, and i never have any ideas. My sister who I live with considers herself an artist, alwyas makes me feel horrible. If I show her anything I make she turns her nose up at it, or says, oh, that's alright I guess. And I just don't know what to do, I want to draw and paint and use any stupid skill I have and feel good about it, but she makes me feel like I should stop trying and leave it to a professional like herself. I can't draw anything realistic at all, no people or nature and it is hard for me to draw things that I make up either, but I still enjoy when I feel like I am doing a good job but that isn't normal. So my question is, what do you think I should do, so I feel better about my art? I don't care about her opinion but I feel like even if my own sister can't show support nobody else will

So I really really really want some cheese cake filling pudding, cause I can't make a cheese cake and I don't have grahm crackers, so I was wondering if anybody had a recipe for the filling, with no eggs so I can just eat it :) Kind of confusing but thanks in advance :)

Hi, so my shampoo has been making my hair super greasy!! I use Renpure Organic, it was on sale for 3 dollars so I got it. The first time I used it it made made my hair really soft, clean, small great and was not sticky but the second day I used it, it made it a little greasy and the more I used it the greasier my hair is. It has been 6 and a half monthes, and it just gets worse and worse. Before that I switched from Suave, which cleaned my hair even less. Then I used V50, and it it was like I hadn't washed my hair for days even when I was straight out of the shower. Then Renpure, and so far they all make my hair greasy. We use to have the suave in the big silver pump bottle with matching conditioner and that wasn't terrible, but regular suave doesn't do anything. I rinse my hair super duper well and I don't touch it all day, I brush it 2-3 times a day. What can you suggest?? I have long hair with occasional dandruff at my bangs and I don't have a ton of money to buy a new shampoo, thanks in advance :)

Hi everybody! So in the fall I have to go to a new charter school and they are super strict about the dress code. I honestly usually wear hippy clothes, and that is really a no-go there. I have pretty much no money, so the clothes have to be affordable. And I don't have any clothes now that I can actually use, since they are in some way or another against the dress code. The rules (the important ones I am actually worried about) are the following: No denim, you can only wear clothes of the following colors: grey, maroon, light pink, light blue, navy, and white. No patterns on tops or bottoms, Pants have to be past knee cap, as for skirts the same, one bracelet on each arm only. There are TONS more, but those are what I am concerned about So my question is, where can I buy cute pants and tops that can fit the system and where can a get a multiple strand bracelet but with only one clasp? For shirts most of the girls wear polos is what it looks like, but I can barely stand polos, I am super uncomfortable in them. Do you have any ideas or tips on where I can get cute and affordable tops (mostly) and bottoms that are regular places? I looked in Macys, and I like what they have, but a cute white button up top in like 30 dollars!! So yeah, any ideas are really appreciated!

And by the way, if you go to a school like this, what do you normally wear?

I don't like buying things online because you have to pay shipping and it isn't always secure, so if anybody has any ideas of where I can buy it in stores it is much appreciated!! Hi, so, I am having problems with my best friend Emily. The person I would normally talk to is her, but it is about her and stuff. So I have been homeschooled for 2 years, and next year I am going back to public school. While I was homeschooled and she was in public middle school, she made new friends, witch was super fine with me. I wouldn't have a problem with that or anything, and her friends are super nice and stuff. Since she made her new friends, she has pulled herself away from me a lot, which sucks cause we use to be super super close. We did everything together and we always told each other we would always be friends. And I want it that way.But since I have been homeschooled, I havn't made any new friends and most of my old friends I am not in contact with anymore, so Emily is my main friend. She almost never talks to me, and she makes up excuses for why it happens, and when she does it is COMPLETELY about herself. If I contact her and it is regular talk she won't reply or answer or pick up and If I have a problem I always email so I can talk easily and she ALWAYS, no fail says back "Sorry to hear about that." I feel like she doesn't even read what I said. I feel like I am not really her friend, she just uses me when her friends aren't available for her to rant with. I have told her before that when she says sorry to hear about that it upsets me and she said she has never done that before. I just feel like she doesn't really want to be friends, I want to be friends inside, but I also feel like she needs to know how I feel. I don't know what I could tell her that she would actually listen to. So if anybody has any advice it is much appreciated--

I have just always wondered, since it is my name. I was wondering what that name comes off as? I have always wondered if it is like a really gross girl name or something. Yeah. Just wondering :)

So, I have only ever had 2 razors. Both electric, I haven't been shaving that long. But any ways, I have had the razor I am using now for probably about 6 and a half months, a little before Christmas. It is starting to do what the last one did which was grab in skin and bite it which is really painful. It does it every five to ten seconds and leaves streaks and bumps of irritated skin. I keep them clean and charged and with fresh batteries but they always do that anyways. Even when I change the actual razor inside it still does it!! So anyways, I was wondering if they usually do this or if something is wrong, like I am not taking care of them right. Or is there anything I can do to fix this? It's not that hard to buy a new razor and everything, but if money doesn't have to be spent it is better. So thank you in advance, I really appreciate all the answers :) And by the way I think the brands where remington, and, darn it just had it. A different brand, if that matters-

I am doing a project with a steel coffee can And I can't get the last bits of label off!! I can't use water because I don't want it to rust. I have tried nail polish remover which got the sticky parts off that where not covered by label and windex, which I read online would help but did not. I can't think of anything to really cover it up with. So if anybody has any ideas, they are much appreciated :)

Okay. So. I have a neighbor, who will be 4 in July. He is so sweet!!! And since I have nothing better to do, I always take him to parks, or we take pictures together (his camera doesn't work, but he thinks it does) or I teach him new things. But anyways, I wanted to give him something for his birthday, cause he's a good kid. But I don't have any money. I doubt I will get money before his birthday, so if anything I can get him dollar store gifts, like last year. I was wondering if anybody had any homemade gift ideas for him. And do you think that his mom and grandparents (general care givers) will feel weird if I make something? They know that I generally make things, I make all the girls jewelery all the time. But I am worried they would think that was weird. I give him my old toys all the time, If I think he would like them, and they don't care. But I am worried they would think it's weird, and inpolite or something. How would you feel?? (Were all poor, by the way, we aren't like uber rich and buy everything everybody wants) So far my ideas where A) to build a toy car racer, but I haven't ever built anything ever, and I would have to make it smaller, like 2 feet or so, and that might make it not as fun B) One of those bug kits, you can get them at the dollar store, but I bet I could make one c) a few dollar store things if all else fails But probably not something big, since we all live in small spaces and stuff, and something he will like. So, my sisters high school graduation is in 2 weeks I believe. And of course, people find graduation gifts necessary. I wanted to give her something personal, but not sappy personal. We are close, but not I will cry because I will miss you close, like, hey, don't suck in college, I guess I'll miss you close. That doesn't sound close, but, it works somehow. Anyways, for her graduation gift I was going to write her a letter and make her a video, which is what I need help with. I wanted to make a video for her, kind of like the one is Bandslam, the movie, which is where I got my inspiration. That is like our sister movie, we watch it together all the time. In the video Will is talking about Sam and stuff, and I wanted a movie sort of like that. I wanted to play the song Young Folks, same in the movie, all the way through and that would be in the background. In it I wanted to start with me in her school filming looking at my feet, wearing her shoes so it is like I am her. Then I would go through with a few of her favorite teachers, family members, friends ect. and ask them one question each like "Why is Corina special to you?" and, I don't know other things like that. I would like some ideas of questions to ask, since that is the only one I have. I would just generally like some tips on how to pull it off, I am not sure. I am gonna get my mom to help me figure out who to talk to, and I am not sure the song is long enough. Hmm. I will have to borrow a camera probably. But yeah. Question suggestions and help with my song problem. And I am still not sure how to pull this off. You guys are smart. Help me out?

Our neighbor lady is so nice. Her name is Sue, she is our Mom's Best friend. She always lets us come over, and eat her food. She usually feeds although she is a lot poorer. She is sassy, but still gives good advice, and teaches us a lot of new things. She is the type of person you think of when you think of inside-nice. Not just show off nice, really inside nice. And I really want to make her something, not only because I prefer to make something and have no money, but homemade gifts come from the heart. I want to say thank you for all the nice things she does, she really deserves it. She is not in a good money situation, but she is making the best of it, and keeping a happy state of mind. I want to perk her up a bit. So I would like ideas on thing to maker for her, something unique and not something I whip out in ten minutes. I don't the ability to cook a lot, we are out of food (I almost mean that seriously, we are almost out, no cooking ingredients) so I don't have the ability to cook. She wears jewelery, mostly from her husband/kids and religious. She likes to do things with her hair I have noticed. Urm. I can't knit/crotchet. Her era is the seventies. Like her taste in things. I have the ability to most household things. And most art supplies, paint and clay and such. She loves her animals a lot, her dogs and cats. And her grandson ;) She would probably like something for her home, but she has her three year old grandson and two dogs and a cat running around, so that may not be a good choice. Her taste in jewelery is mostly chains, golds and silvers and bronzes, fairly plain, not big and bold. She wears a lot of neutrals, and pinks. And cardigans. OOH and she also loves horses, she had one but couldn't afford it anymore. Thanks everybody for all the answers in advance. It is all a lot of help!
