Has anyone worn tall platform shoes to their wedding? I want to know if they were able to survive the day wearing those shoes all day long, and if they prepared by wearing them in first. I like to wear platform shoes, but I'm not sure if I'm going to enjoy wearing them on my wedding day.

I just had it done. I saw it at a health school, and decided to have it done on a spur of the moment. The lady opened up the remaining candle. It was shocking to see clumps of a dark corn syrup looking substance. I wish I paid attention to which direction the wax flowed. It might better tell me which direction it came from. What I mean is, did it come from my ear, or the burning beeswax?

When I came home, I decided to research candling and feel like I was just fleeced. I'm not convinced that it actually works. Has anyone ever had a friend or family member, or doctor check their ear for them before the candling, then check it again after to confirm that the wax was gone?

If so, where can I find it in the bible? Aren't children considered blessings in the bible?

I have some 5 gal Culligan water bottles for my dispenser and wanted to know the best way to clean it. Are there any types of kits I can get like scrubs or brushes to clean the inside? Should I just use bleach?

I remember having a conversation with a woman who was given up for adoption. She said she would rather have been raised by her real parents than to be given up for adoption, regardless if her real parents were child abusers, drug addicts, etc.

My questions are, do you wish you were kept by your original parents, or are you happy with your current life? If so, then why? Also, if you were given up for adoption because your biological parents couldn't care for you, do you feel appreciative that they thought to give you a better chance at life, or are you aggravated that they weren't responsible enough to care for you when you were born.

I just watched High School Musical 2 last night on dvd, and I couldn't figure it out. Gabriella acts really weird at the end. After Troy jumps in the water, Gabriella follows. They both go whoo-whoo! She says it a couple more times, but it sounds forced. Then she looks really uncomfortable, and looks back at Troy with a strange face. I think the director should have re-shot it, unless he/she was pressed for time, or unless the director is trying to set up the third movie. What do you all think? Does anyone know why she was acting so weird?

I don't drink any sodas ie: coke, sprite, mt. dew, etc., but I do like to drink carbonated water flavored with sugarless flavorings. Is carbonated water safe? Or will this also leach calcium from my body and bones?

I've read a statistic this statistic:

-88% of accidents are caused by unsafe acts

-10% of accidents are caused by unsafe conditions

-2% of accidents are caused by natural disasters.

I've also seen some colleges and schools include this in their websites under safety, but when I asked one school, I was told it came from OSHA's website. I took a look in there, but it was formidable. I called them and was told they never heard of it.

Has anyone else heard of it and know the reference, or who did that survey? A website would be awesome, but not necessary. Thanks in advance.

What are the pros and cons (quality, quality of work, expense, etc. ) of having a Koh-I-Noor Rapidograph Technical Pen Set?

I know they are more expensive than disposable pens (like Microns). They were discovered at my work when we were cleaning. I am currently trying to figure out how to use them. Some of my co-workers don't know how to use them and just want to chuck them in liu of the Micron disposable pens.

Ultimately, I need to know if it is more feasible to use disposable pens or these refillable technical pens. We will be using them for fine pen and ink techniques.

Also, if you have any examples of work done with these kind of pens, I would appreciate it if you could show me.

Why do you think this is? Is it possible that many people didn't know about allergies several years ago, or is it just that today's kids are just more prone to getting allergies?

I heard that Komen grants some of its funds to planned parenthood and stem cell research. Is this true? When these planned parenthood centers get their grants from Komen, do they have to use all the money on breast cancer awareness and treatment, or can they do whatever they want with it as long as some of the money goes to breast cancer awareness, cure finding, and treatment? Is there a way to donate to Komen, and ensure the funds only go to breast cancer awareness, treatment, and cure? If you are pro-life, would you reconsider purchasing pink ribbon items because of where some of that money is going, even though it is helping find a cure for breast cancer?

Why is this? I also know that blue is soothing, and is an appetite suppressor. Yellow and red makes you hungry. (McDonalds, Arby's, etc.) What are some other interesting psychological implications regarding color?

Would you please give me a recipe for the sinigang base (the tamarind one). I know how to make sinigang with the packet, but I want to try it from scratch and especially without msg. Thanks in advance.
