Discerning

Found out I had silent acid reflux when i went to an ENT for my throat feeling swollen and at times feeling like I was an asthmatic. This came on after downing garden grape tomatoes for weeks like candy. Don't usually have this issue. Dr. put me on an oral acid inhibitor once a day , liquid gaviscon after meals, & a strict GERD diet to be on for at least 6 wks. After a few weeks I had to up to two acid inhibitors a day. Now it feels like I'm sensitive to everything, even start to feel different in my throat and chest when I drink tepid water. My question is, should I have stopped eating tomatoes and rode it out till I felt better? I feel like the medicine has made me more sensitive to everything.

I restarted the computer, no fix. I shut down the computer and started it again. No fix. Went to One Drive File and it popped up to sign up again, so I logged in and that no longer pops up. Didn't fix it (this was between restarts). Did some research online, tried to uninstall the security update and it won't finish the uninstall because of some error message. I might quite literally lose my mind because I have a TON of work that I need to get done and I've wasted an hour and a half with no success. I am scared to uninstall Windows and install again for fear of losing everything. My IT guy, who I cannot get a hold of, set me up with One Drive and Microsoft Office 365 and I have NO stinking idea how any of that works. In the meantime ~ no required work getting done for my business. I hate technology. Give me an old fashioned Office Disk any day. And analog TV as well.

My website basically only allows me shipping rules to post. So, I can't add shipping to each item, it has to be for the sale total. As in:

Orders up to $10 will cost ___ to ship.

Orders $20-$25 will cost _____ to ship.

And I imagine I need two options. The typical first class option and a faster shipping option. Problem is, when I go to the USPS, I'm at a loss and can't figure out how to even begin. All I can say is the lightest item I have is .15 oz and the heaviest is 5 oz. Lowest priced item is $3 and the highest priced item is $9. I only plan to ship in the US. I know this is very little info but surly to goodness someone knows something out there!

If a person's 2014 income was, let's say, around $33,000 and estimated taxes for 2015 was $1900 quarterly for 2015, but then the business ends up having no to very minimal income due to no work (construction) after the January until the present time (June-July), can estimated payments be lessened without having to send along any extra forms? Or will a person be penalized?

I'm looking for a cheaper option than an iPad for the purpose of a photo slideshow for my business table at events. I need something that has a crisp, clear resolution because the slideshow has before and after photos that must show details of face (it's skincare). It also has be big enough that people can see without having to bend close to it - as in, when they walk up to the table, they can see the photos without squinting :)

I can't afford an iPad and I've bought and returned 3 different digital photo frames that were horrible to work with and had even more horrible resolution. I was just wondering if anyone knew if a Kindle or Kindle Fire (I honestly don't know the difference as I flip pages in my world) or something like a netbook would be just as good. I've not done much research so maybe these things are just as expensive. Any help would be appreciated!

We just began having employees again for our small trucking business and we decided to pay them per diem for expenses. I've paid into the 941 online which isn't an issue but I'm not sure how this is recorded on the 941 quarterly report and I'd rather not mess it up and have to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

Currently trying to make sales receipts, primarily for used farm equipment, etc. So, it isn't your typical inventory, like 100 fuel filters. Each sale will be different - different equipment and different prices. First, I don't know what "type" of item these would be since none listed are clear descriptions of what I've got going on. Second, if I figure out what "type" to categorize these sales, will they constantly come up the same price and I'll have to edit and create a new "item" for each piece. Sorry if this is elementary. I'm self-teaching here. I'd appreciate any help.

Getting a little frustrated here. I have downloaded and saved both Word and Adobe docs from emails I sent from another computer. When I open Adobe, these docs show up. When I open Word, these docs do NOT show up. Here is where I'll sound like an idiot but I know no other way to explain. The icon on the bottom of the screen that looks like files in a little file sorter/holder? Well, everything shows up there. When I try to transfer the Word files from this source to the list of docs in Word, it says they already exist. But they never show up!!! When I try to find them in Word - it comes up with no files match. Anyone know what the heck is going on?

I am trying to make the first column in my excel spreadsheet to just automatically count or number. For example: 1 to 100. Trying to avoid going through and typing in the number 1 arrowing down, 2 arrowing down, etc. until I get to 100.

First off, I'm new at really using excel to make up forms so please be patient and if you know the answer, please keep in mind to use terms or directions a beginner would understand. I'm currently trying to print out three spreadsheets. All three printed out just fine on an older version of Microsoft. I now have Office 2007 and I'm trying to print these newly edited documents. The lines and boxes look fine on the screen, but when I print they are not straight - but look broken and uneven. Can this be fixed and how? I need these forms for work in just a few days. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

currently looking at a like-new Fitness Quest Edge that I can get for $300 or BO. My goal is to buy something that will last long and is worth the money. From what I can find so far, they no longer make it and they also make the ab lounge and the gazelle thing. The seller paid over $400 for it one year ago.

My space is limited. The machine is 50 inches long and that isn't even while it's in use - just sitting there. I'm not sure how much more room it requires.

$300 is pretty much my budget.

Any advice, feedback, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to find a second hand, quality machine for the right price. I do not want to invest my money into some cheaper model from Kmart that has a worthless warrenty.

First off, I'm a horrible person because I didn't realize my cat had a kidney or urinary infection and because of that, he now has kidney damage. His BUN was horrid and I'm pretty sure the vet thought I was someone who didn't deserve an animal because of it.

My cat has always been a picky eater. Now he won't eat any of the special foods we've tried. The first we tried was the c/d dry, second was the Purina n? dry, the last has been the c/d canned. I have gradually added these foods, as the vet prescribed. The food he used to eat has been phased out over a period of time. Now he will hardly eat the canned c/d. But yet, he wants that Purina Cat Chow he can smell on the back porch for our other cat.

The vet has said have him eat whatever he wants because he is basically starving himself right now. Ironically, our other cat is a gluten and ate all of the special food without a fight.

I'm at a loss. Either he is poisoned with regular cat food or he starves. Does anyone know of anything that would help? I've heard that there are herbs and such that help, but then I've heard it's a bunch of bunk by people who just want my money with no proof of helping the cat.

And he does NOT eat people food. So, the chance of making homemade food is slim unless it involves fish or chicken????

Any advice? I'd sure appreciate it. I'd like to make him the healthiest possible to make up for my lack of wisdom.

How do people who are self-employed pay into Social Security and Medicare? I know that there is the 1040-ES form that you send in quarterly, but I see nothing on them where you can apply any of it to Social Security and Medicare. Also, does each state have their own form of estimated quarterly payments?

My daughter will be a sophomore next year. She wants to learn Hungarian (because her uncle is Romanian) for her foreign language. I homeschool, so I need to find a program that will help her. I understand it is a very difficult language to learn, but she is passionate about being able to speak the native language of her beloved uncle. I would appreciate any help.
