I have a HDMI Samsung TV and I also have a Verizon Wireless internet. My TV is not a Smart TV, but I thought there was a way to still connect it to the internet. The main reason why I want it to be connected is because I have an app on my iPad 4 called "Smart View". It's basically a remote to connect to the TV. When I open the app, it says, "No device found. Your mobile device and the target device should be connected to the same wireless router." And I have my DIRECTV and iPad 4 both connected the internet but not my Samsung TV. Like I said, it's not a smart TV. Please help me! Thank You.
