My laptop has a few lines running from top to bottom on left hand side, have been living with it not a big issue. Now I find occasionally the screen freezes and I find if I move the lid slightly it clears. I am thinking this could be a problem with the screen cable not the screen. Would be great to have input from a professional. Thanks.

Is it possible to change rad valves one at a time without draining the system on a combie closed system? I know it can be done on an open system by plugging the open pipe have done this in the past . Thanks for any helpful advice.

I have been given a sky + HD box. Question; i only have ONE feed from my dish, can i use this box and would i be able to get sky on demand / catch up? I do have sky broad band and cable to connect the box to the net. ( I know that i wont be able to record a program while watching another). Thanks for any help.

What undercoat / primer will key to my wardrobe doors ( they are like plastic coated or melamine). I want to spray them so please don't suggest cupboard door paint, because if you thin it looses its gloss. I have tryed sanding and still will not key well.

My son gave me a sky HD box and remote and said it should improve the picture and maybe pick up the odd HD channel. I have an old sky box and subscribe for phone, broadband, and £20 something TV package, and don't want to pay out any more money.Can i just Connect the new HD box via H.D.M.I. cable instead of scart, and put my sky card in to use it. He thinks as i have my box connected to a phone line it should work by following on screen menu. I do hope this works as my old box has started playing up, three times this week had to switch it off to reset. Would appreciate your answers thanks.

I have a 3 mtr x 3 mrt summer house with a flat roof that i have had to re felt about every three years, as i am now past my prime i am looking for something more long term.I was thinking of using a one piece pond liner to cover it as they have a 25 year grantee. What do you think. Thanks.

I have a Dell 3000 that does nothing when i power it up. Checked switch OK, P.S.U. power outputs all look ok and the fan works when bridged. I know the hard drive is ok, have tested fuses in the unit and out.There is a small led light on the mother board that is on when the power is connected. I think it might have been a power surge when we had a storm, the unit was switched off but left pluged in without a protector. Have tryed to hold the button in but dont even get a blink from the lights. I think it might be the mother board how can i test it. Any thoughts would be helpfull. Thanks.

How can i take out the the lighter/power socket from the centre console, will it come out from the front, if not where do i start removing panels to get to it. Thanks.
