I have some instant photos that I would like to put online. I plan on buying a scanner eventually, but I don't have the money right now. Is there somewhere I can take my photos to scan? Could I do that at a library? I would prefer to be able to do it for free. I don't really want to go to WalMart - I have taken some of my photos there before with nothing but terrible results.

I started my period on the 15th. It lasted 4 days, and was following by two days of spotting. This is how my periods usually are - 3-4 of heavy bleeding and 1-2 of random spotting. The spotting is always bright red, there just isn't a lot of it - not enough to necessitate the use of a tampon, anyway. I usually ovulate on the 15th day of my cycle.

Yesterday (cycle day 9) I had pink discharge (I have only had this once before in my life), and cramping. I started cramping during sex and it got so bad I had to stop. The past week or so I've been nauseous and not had an appetite.

I've looked up causes of pink discharge and all I can find is ovulation, menstruation and pregnancy. It's too early for me to ovulate, and I recently had my period. I took an HPT this morning and it was negative. So what else could be wrong?

I'm pretty sure I should purchase a

shoulder strap (because I take a camera

with me EVERYWHERE) and a lens cap of

some sort, since this is an antique and I

want to protect my investment.

But I don't know what else I need. I have

never owned my own legitimate camera

before, so I'm not sure what things are

necessary. I am not a professional

photographer, but an avid hobbyist. I will

be using my camera multiple times in a

day, most likely, and will be taking a variety

of photos, although a significant number

will probably be portraits of one sort or

another.

I've heard a lot of things about other

accessories, but I'm not sure what the

advantage of having any of them is. For

example, I hear a lot of discussion about

filters, but don't these just change the color

balance of your photos? Or are they

necessary for certain kinds of shots? If

someone could please explain the different

accessories and purposes/practical

applications of each, I would really

appreciate it. I'm just not sure what is

relevant.

Also, if you know of any places to get

accessories specific to TLRs, especially for

reasonable prices, that would also be very

appreciated.

I have two rats. The first one is Holly, who I got about a year ago. She is approximately 18 months old (I got her at the pet store so knows). Holly had a cagemate originally, but she died. For a few months it was just Holly, and then I got another supposedly six month old rat, Aster, so that Holly wasn't lonely. I have had Aster and Holly together for about six months. When I got Holly, she was tiny, too, probably because I got her at the pet store. But eventually she rounded out. I feel like Aster should have put on more weight by now. I can still feel her ribcage when I pet her. I don't understand why she hasn't put on weight. What do you think it could be? She hasn't shown any signs of being sick, and I know she does eat at least sometimes. When I first got her, Holly was a bit mean to her because Holly had gotten used to being a spoiled little princess and didn't want to share. But they became friends fast! It doesn't seem like Holly isn't letting Aster have any food. Should I be worried? Any ideas?

I'm wondering because some places accept applications even when they aren't hiring, but I feel like it would be silly to ask to fill one out anyway if the person I'm speaking to doesn't mention that. Is it considered impolite or incorrect to skip right to asking for an application?

Am I the only one who, even subconsciously, makes this assumption when they see an obese person?

I'm looking for clothes for my boyfriend. He's turning 20. I'm looking for sites that sell things like striped v-necks, chinos, cardigans, skinny jeans....I want good quality but affordability (it's okay if the clothes are a little pricy as long as they have decent sales). Thanks a lot. (:

This summer I dated a new guy I met and I guess by doing that I wronged his ex girlfriend in some way so that ever since she's had a personal vendetta against me. She immediately started to make up ridiculous rumors about me, which she told to all my friends. This has caused me even more grief because people believe her. For example, she told one of my friend's girlfriends that I was trying to steal him and she started all this stuff and now my friend won't even talk to me. A lot of the people I was friends with won't even acknowledge me anymore because of things this girl has said to them, and it's a big deal because the guy I am with now is friends with these people so that's who we hang out with usually. She also had sex with the guy I was dating previously while we were dating, by her own admission to "spite" me. She went out of her way for me to be cheated on and I had never even spoken to her. She threw out his condoms to try to get us to stop having sex. I broke up with that guy like two or three months ago but she still won't stop. She is still making up stories about me, and she started dating my new boyfriend's best friend and roommate. I live with them and she comes in and actually steals my things. She is stealing my clothes and she can't even fit in them, she's just taking them because she hates me. I pay for all my own things and I don't make very much money, so this really negatively affects me.

I don't understand why she hates me. I've spoken to her one time in the entire six months that she's been doing this to me. It was after I started dating my current boyfriend and she was over here hanging out with his roommate. She was saying I was so right about Jack (the boy we dated) because he cheated on her, too. I said that I found it hard to believe she didn't know that since he cheated on me with her and she said she felt really bad and I said that she hadn't felt that bad or she would have stopped. I had unprotected sex the two days leading up to and the day after ovulation. This was at the end of October, like the 28th to the 30th. My period was four days late but only a little lighter than usual and lasted the usual length, although I had spotting the day I was supposed to start and the day before I did start, which is unusual for me.

Anyway, I have been having bouts of nausea and stomach cramping, as well as unwarranted fatigue. Is it possible I could be pregnant despite getting my period? Thanks.

I know that they make latex-free bandages also, but latex is a common allergy and everyone uses bandages to heal - not to cause more injury. Why do they make bandages with latex at all? If they can make latex-free bandages, why not just make them all latex-free? Instead there is only like one box of latex-free bandages for every ten boxes of latex ones. And if you need specially shaped bandages instead of regular, too bad because they only make them in the latex variety. Why? I just don't understand the necessity in using latex in bandages, especially when you could just make all your products marketable to EVERYONE, which is a better business strategy.

It doesn't have to pure, it can be plated. It actually doesn't even have to be real gold, as long as it looks like rose gold. It HAS to have cones and be an 18g. I realize that this is a very specific request, but this is my dream piece of jewelry for my septum piercing and I can't find anything that isn't bright piss colored gold, which I don't think is pretty. So long story short a friend and I got shoplifting almost $200 each of clothing at Macy's, so obviously they called the police and we got ticketed. We got banned from the mall and Macy's and have to pay restitution at double the value of the items we took. I'm okay with that, I was just wondering what the LEGAL consequences will be? We cooperated, and have never been in trouble for shoplifting before. I have two unrelated charges from when I was 14 (breach of peace and assault on a police officer), and was on probation for truancy for 14 months around that time (I finished in 9 but they kept me on so I could stay in foster care because of a crappy home situation). I'm seventeen now, I will be 18 in March and my court date is in December. I live in Wyoming. Any fair guesses at what I'll end up with? I'm thinking at the most unsupervised probation, but if I'm lucky just a fine and/or community service. Do my other previous charges matter since they were unrelated and happened so long ago? Or do you think the judge will look at thosr and think I'm a delinquint and go super hard on me?

I don't need any self-righteous lectures, I just want to know from people who have been caught before or people in the legal system what is likely to happen. I have a job and responsibilities and stuff, so if there's even a chance of me spending even a day in jail, I need to make arrangements.

My boyfriend works at an assisted living center and I wanted to make cupcakes for the residents. A non-negligible percentage are diabetic, and I know nothing about diabetic baking. I don't want specific recipes, I just want to know what factors are important and what substituions I should make, so that I can make any recipe diabetic friendly.

My other concern is frosting. Most frosting recipes call for confectioner's sugar, which provides a different taste and consistency than granulated sugar. I don't know of any sugar-free substitutes for confectioner's sugar, so how do I make a good frosting to go with?

CONGRESS is the entity with all the control over this country, so why do people always blame the President and say ridiculous things about how radically one candidate or the other will change the country? It's not like the President just gets free reign and can change whatever he wants. EVERYTHING is up to Congress, and the members there are more corrupt and incompetent than any of the candidates for Presidency. That's what people should be worried about.
