I found out that a letter was sent to my old address summoning me for jury duty. Unfortunately I didn't get the letter until now, and my court date is a few days away. I can't make it because I have already booked a flight to see my family, but I'd be happy to do it on another day and postpone it to whatever day the court wants. However I'm worried about potential jail time. Do they only jail people who deliberately not show up? I live in California, if that matters.

Im not actually buying it, i just mean this basic style

I don't have a super long forehead but I do have a long shaped face which I hate. What style changes can I make to make it seem shorter? I don't want bangs or short hair....bangs also wouldn't make much of a difference for me since my forehead is not big.

I need to get my hair colored...nothing crazy, just a different shade of brown. but I have some tones in my hair color that I really want to get rid of (my hair is already dyed). Do you think Supercuts can take care of this? Or should I just fix it on my own? I am not going anywhere expensive.

I've dyed my hair brown a few times, but it's oxidated and it's sort of turned into a reddish purplish brown that I hate. Dying over it or using a toner probably won't work to get rid of this. My hair is in excellent condition. Should I get a color remover (non bleach OR bleach?) and then go over it with a neutral or golden brown? Don't tell me to go to a salon, because I probably can't afford it.

He usually calls me every night after he gets home on the weekends (when he's going out, we're long distance). Last night he called me while he was still out (4 o clock my time, 1 o clock his time), but then I never got a call when he got home. It's probably nothing, but I'm hoping that he made it home safely. How do I find out? I don't want to call his parents because that will sound a bit hysterical, and I know that if they had been notified of anything, they would have told me. I could try calling the police station but in my experience they never know anything (this has happened before and they just told me to call every single hospital in san Francisco, where he lives)

Specifically if it was brown...I find most brown shades show up too red or too black on me. I want a nice golden medium brown!

Ok, sounds kinda dramatic, but I've hated my nose since I was little. Nobody in real life comments on it, but people on the internet do all the time, and I can only assume they're just being honest. I think I'm decent or at least OK except for it. I think I posted a pic in the last question I asked, if you need reference. I can't live with this thing on my face, it's driving me nuts. But nose jobs are so expensive and I can't afford one. My parents also won't pay for one (obviously, for some reason they like me to look like a horse). I thought I'd grow out of this insecurity but it seems it just gets worse each year. Is it worth it to just not get one and go through life like this? Sometimes i feel like I just can't take it.

My hair looks awful and I'm going out after work. I have a curling iron in my overnight bag because I'm staying with family....to curl or not to curl?

I'm not asking whether or not I'm cute-- that's your opinion, I'm sure plenty of people think I'm ugly and some disagree but that's not what I'm asking, the internet is a brutal place for that, lol. I'm just looking for beauty tips, maybe things I can change (aside from plastic surgery or something drastic) to look the best that I can look. It's always good to get other people's advice! So here are two pictures, let me know some good suggestions. I'm looking to change things up a little bit. Even though I'm nowhere near as cute, I'd like to go for Victorias Secret "style" looks, I just like that style.
