I have a soldier that failed a record APFT this past April. The soldier was re-tested a month later and passed. Now the soldier has once again failed the record APFT for October. MY Detatchment SGT wants to chapter the soldier on APFT failure stating that the soldier failed two tests in a row. Is that true though? Because the soldier did pass the re-test. Is that actually counted as "two-in-a-row" or is the Detatchment SGT up to something?

Doing a run this weekend for cancer research. One of the people I work with was recently diagnosed with cancer. She's the type of person who'd do anything for you and is always there and ALWAYS works too hard. We all had shirts made for her but there is a big blank spot in the middle front and we're supposed to write SOMETHING in there. I don't know what to write! Should it be funny? Should it be inspirational? Should it be vague or specific? I'm at a complete loss. This lady, I've recently gotten close to her and I love her to death but I don't want to mess up the shirt by writing something stupid on there :( Please, please help!

I'm deployed and wanted to try all kinds of crazy jerkies. I've gotten alligator, elk, buffalo, salmon, ostrich and turkey. I was wondering if anyone knew of some sites that would have bear or caribou? And they have to be able to ship overseas.

I'm a medica, and medics can get stationed in Australia. So, does anyone know what they do there? Where they work? What type of job it is?? I can't find any info.

In afghanistan right now and planning on going on R&R to Australia, anyone know if I need my passport? If so... I need it mailed to me ^^;

Washing your hands frequently and covering your mouth when you sneeze or cough are well known ways to prevent the spread, are there any other ways?

First of all, the carnivorous plant species amazes me. But do you think the venus in particular could be considered intelligent because of it's ability to know when to close around something and when not to? The hairs have to be touched at least twice by something to rule out it being something non living in it's "jaws." I think that this could make it more like a sea anemone, which might also be able to be considered more animal than plant, to me anyway. So, do you think this plant instinct could be intelligence, or just what plants "do"?
