I am 16, I started my first period around 13 and was completely regular with heavy flow, normal length, and about a 30 day cycle for over a year. Then I got irregular with lighter periods that came about every other month. Worried, I saw my doctor and got put on birth control for two months or so and had a light period both months. I didn't like the birth control though so I got off of it. Since then my periods have become extremely irregular. I had a short one in June and a slightly longer one in July. I remember I had huge clots and at one point went straight through a tampon in like 2 hours, this had never happened. I then didn't have a period until today, over 5 months later. I have not fluctuated in weight more than 5 pounds, my stress level has been higher these last few weeks than ever in my life so stress couldn't be preventing them, and I'm not sexually active. I exercise regularly and my weight is healthy. I know that being a teen these things can fluctuate, but this is extreme and I used to be regular, what could be causing this and what should I do?

So my friend and I are not allowed to date because our parents believe we are too young. We are 14. We do not want to go behind their backs and we want to do this right, neither of us wants to mess anything up. We are also not allowed to be alone, so we can't even hold hands for more than the five seconds we get without eyes on us. Our parents say that they trust us and that we are the most mature 14 year olds they know and such, but they say that us being alone presents too much temptation and that we are too young to date.

My friend and I are both Christians so we often ask each other questions regarding our faith. Today we were wondering about the sinfulness of masturbation. Upon researching what the Bible had to say about this I found that there was no specific information although it was not recommended and many sites mentioned that masturbation often involves porn or other sexual fantasies, which the Bible does classify as a sin. All of the sites that I visited said that if you are masturbating then you should marry, because Paul said that one should not burn with such desire. These sites said that masturbation was the replacement for a partner.

No we do not masturbate, but we do have sexual desires and we do not want to be driven to masturbation. The solution is to be marriage, but we are classified as too young. What do we do, our beliefs are very important to us, so please don't ask us to go against them, no haters please.
