  • How to get birthday party gigs?

As a summer job or any year round job in general, I want to be birthday party entertainment, but I'm not too sure how to get myself out there.

I'd be able to sing and play guitar, or even dress up as Disney characters? I dont know, this was just a random idea I thought of since I'm thinking about jobs.

    I'm 14 1/2 by the way!

    -Aubrey

    p.s. thank you in advance!

  • Indirect Proof Help? (Geometry)?

Hi! Anyways, I'm doing my Geometry homework right now and I'm doing an indirect proof and have reached a total blank!

Anyways, heres some info about the problem:

given: trap ABCD with segment AB parallel to segment DC

prove: <C and <D are not both rt angles

since I can't attach a picture of the diagram I'll try my best to remake it using keyboard keys:

    A ------>-------- B

    /.……………….\

    /.……………….\

    D------>---------C

so far I have 2/3 parts:

    1) Assume Temporarily that <C + <D are rt. <s

    2) ?

    3) Therefore, since <C + <D are rt <s is false, it must be true that <C and <D are not both rt. <s

I hope this makes sense and thanks in advance for the help!

  • Systems of Equations?

This is part of a Geometry Review thing.. haha. These two are just sorta weird since I haven't done Systems of Equations in a long time.

    x+3y=7

    x+2y=4

    9x-2y=50

    6x-2y=32

It says to solve each system by the method of addition or subtraction.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Allergies or Just Sick?

Okay, so today I woke up and my throat was so dry, I couldn't even talk. And when I got to school, my throat got the dry scratchy feeling, stuffed yet runny nose, and foggy head. I only get allergies around this time of year (end of winter, throughout spring) so I really don't know if this is allergies or a relapse of my cold that I had a few weeks ago (which was a relapse of the flu). Right now I feel fine-ish, but the back of my throat feels really dry. Any ideas of what it might be? Also, the weather where I live had been very windy, dry, cold/hot (the weather has been very moody). Yeah.. so I really don't know whether I should be just taking allergy medicine or just cold medicine...

    Thanks!

Okay, so as you have read from the title, I am BORED. I have no freedom so, yeah. Nothing like: go to the store or park or going on a walk.

Reason for no freedom: my parents are strict about that stuff and they are sick.

EVERYONE in my house is sick except for me, so yeah... help please?

  • Algebra 1 Help? Topic: Solving Multi-Step Equations?

Okay, so I've done the majority of the problem and I have no idea what to do next.... lol. So I'm at:

9/8m= 9/4 (those are supposed to be fractions btw...)

I've never been a wiz with fractions (i'm a decimal gal) so help? If you need the original problem to help me, it's:

    3( 1/8m - 1/2) + 3/4m = 3/2

so yeah........ oh oh oh!! And the answer is supposed to be 8/3 :)

Please tell me all the work you did so I can learn :)

    Thanks!
