I drove through a flooded street and as a result my car came to a sudden stop. I tried to start it a few times and it would not start. The mechanic shop I towed my car to is now telling me that the head gasket was blown. Can this incicent cause this? and if so how? Thank you.

We were scheduled to be released with our newborn from a Floriday hospital tomorrow. However, our baby had a temperature of 100.7 and the doctor said they have to run blood culture tests which take 48 hours, so they won't discharge the baby until then. Do we have any say on this as the parents? The reason I ask I because my wife is going to be discharged before the baby and we don't want to be away from her. Also, when the baby temperature was taken at 100.7 we unswaddled her and her temperature returned to a normal level within 5 minutes.

I am really starting to question whether I got a good deal on this car or not. I traded in my Jeep Commander 06, 8 cyl fully loaded but not the limited version for $10,500 but I owed $14,500 on it. I got an 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5 fully loaded (nav,leather,sunroof,bose,dvd,etc...) for $26,000 with 0 % for 60 months when the asking price was $29,000. They also added an additional 3,000 to my loan so that I can pay off the Jeep. Please let me now if I made a good deal or got ripped off. Thank you!

Take politics aside and forget he is a Republican. Do you think he can be the next President? He is young, super smart and get's it. Also, I heard he always talks about the people first and seems to be one of the few politicians that somewhat cares for this country and people. Do you think he has a chance? I heard many say that with his brilliant knowledge on economics he can get us out of this financial mess. A perfect example it's his plan A Roadmap for America's Future.

I am stationed in Afghanistan and they sell a lot of diamonds and gems for cheap here. Just wondering if it is worth buying a couple of them and if so which ones would be the best to easily sale back in the states and make some profit.
