  • Need cool connection for numbers 6-30-2012?

A coworker is getting married and the groom to be is a math nut. She is trying to find some impressive, cool, unique, abstract...ect. way of tying together the dates of their wedding. 6-30-2012. Other than the fact that they are all even numbers, a 1st grader could tell us that, does anyone have any creative ideas on how to tie those numbers together?

  • song question "had a dream, never grow up"?

My 10 year old heard/seen a video on the internet of a song he likes. He wants to find out the name and artist/band. The lyrics he can remember are: "I once had a dream, to never grow up". He is not sure of those lyrics, tells me the song says something about "his mother". Anyone have any ideas to what this song is?

    Thanks for any help.

  • Using my own pic for xbox 360 character?

My husband and his friend love playing the Tiger Woods 09 on the xbox 360. Supposedly you can download your own face picture and use that on your character when you are playing. They want to try it and since I am the techie geek of the family they are wanting me to figure out how. Is there an easy way to do this or a set of instructions somewhere? Any info is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for your help/advice.

  • Why follow pro-slave doctrines?

Knowing that this exists in Islamic doctirne: Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: A man decided that a slave of his would be manumitted after his death and later on he was in need of money, so the Prophet took the slave and said, "Who will buy this slave from me?" Nu'aim bin 'Abdullah bought him for such and such price and the Prophet gave him the slave. [Sahih Bukhari. Book: 34, Hadith: 351], Why do so many people think islam outlaws slavery?

  • How many of you have read "Why Gender Matters" by Leonard Sax, MD, PhD?

If so what are your thoughts on it? I myself found it an excellent book. As a mother of 2 boys I am seeing the damage done to our boys with our gender neutral educational system. As an aunt to several nephews and nieces I am seeing the damage done to both boys and girls by denying the fact that the sexes are not created equal.

    Your thoughts?

  • early 80's movie, teen guy falls for "easy" girl, his friends get mad over it so they rape and kill her.

I don't remember any of the actors. The setting was small town USA, the girl didn't have a very good home life and was used to going out on "dates" with the local boys just to be used by them. This upper class boy takes her out at the urging of his buddies, just for a sure thing, and ends up seeing more in her, eventually they start dating and his friends get mad cause she no longer will go out with them. I remember it being a pretty decent movie although it ended up really sad. If I remember right the title is their names and they had somewhat uncommon names...like Bo and Grace or something along those lines.

Anyone with a great memory have any idea what movie I am talking about?

  • Yahoo chat...what has happened to it?

I used to go there, haven't been there in almost a year, but now whenever I try it's like I am the only one in the room. I see other people (sometimes) listed on the right, but no one is saying a word and people are coming and going, and my speakers are on and no on is talking, when I post something, that is shown, but it's like no one else in the room is talking. What is going on?

  • Using tomatoes that are not fully ripened.?

I have been slowing processing my tomatos, blanching, peeling and then freezing (I know frozen not as good as fresh) in freezer bags until I could have enough to make canned salsa, sauce, stewed and soup. I can't always let the tomotos vine ripen and have been ripening in the house. Now that the season is in full swing I am starting to question the ripeness of my first few bagfulls, I am not sure I allowed them to ripen enough. Is this ok? What are the consequences of processing and using tomatoes that are not 100% fully ripened? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

  • Movie. Dad wants son to kill a guy, son turns axe(?) onto dad instead, younger son then tries to kill brother

I only caught a small part of this movie, I cannot for the life of me remember who were the actors. After the above scene, the son who killed the dad was an adult and leading an investigator in a cemetary to show him where his younger brother's grave was. More about the above scene, after the older brother wouldn't kill the guy and harmed the dad, the dad whispers into the younger sons ear, which is what turned the younger son against his brother. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I just caught the one scene and was intriged enough to want to see the whole movie, I just have no idea who was in it or what it is called. Help!!!!!

  • Is a truck without a motor still a vehicle?

We bought a truck body late last year, then bought an engine for it several months later and put it in. The weekend we put the engine in we registered the truck. My insurance company denied a damage claim because we didn't put the vehicle on our policy within 30 days of buying the truck body. I thought my 30 days would start once the engine was in the truck. I live in Wisconsin. Does anyone have any idea if I can still get my insurance company to pay?

  • I am looking for the name of a movie that I think starred Rosanne Arquette. Started in NYC and ended up in CA

I can't remember much. He got some cocaine from some bad guys, he and her hooked up as kindered spirits per say, decided to go to CA to sell the dope. The bad guys chase them. Was a scence in a hotel where the bad guys shot up the room, also one of bad guys got busted with the coke in his car and the coke all over his face.

I loved this movie, saw it about 10 years ago. I think it was Rosanna that starred in it, can't remember anyone else. B type movie, but was really good. Any ideas?

  • Who was the female violin player that severed her finger while playing on stage?

Back in the summer of 1999 I watched part of a "news" show (Dateline, 20/20, ect) about a young, female violin player who actually severed her finger while playing on stage. I don't remember much else except she was also known for the "change" in her apperance when she was playing and in her zone.
