I am seriously considering a move to Novi, MI area and would love some general information. On average how much snow falls? Is it windy there? Does it just get comfortably warm in the summer or does it get hot? I am from the south (OK and TN) so my idea of hot may be different from someone from MI. Also, how far is Canada from Novi? Does anyone from Novi area ever travel to Canada and if so why?

Sorry I know I'm asking a ton of questions but any good info on Novi area would be appreciated! :)

I am recently separated after 20 yrs of marriage (no chance of reconciliation) and have never been a single adult. I have so many questions!! But I guess first things first, how do I even meet anyone? I am not into the bar scene and have no desire to be someone's one night stand. I don't really want to date anyone at work and I work out at an all women's gym.

What is the waiting period to date? We have started the papers to end the marriage and I have been living in my own home for quite some time. How important is it that I wait until the papers are final?

Also, I am a young grandmother of 2 (I'm 36) and I worry that when men my age or even a few years younger hear that I have grandchildren they will run as fast as they can. (I do not raise them nor do I have young children at home.) I have no age in mind when it comes to dating but really do not want to be limited to men 10 yrs my senior as that is probably the more normal age for having grandchildren.

By the way, I am often told I look younger than I am. I am 5ft 1 and 108 lbs and take great care in how I look.

I bought this dress yesterday and need help in deciding what kind of shoes to wear with them. I was wearing high heels the day I tried it on and loved the way my legs looked in it but also know tights/leggings are really in style. I don't really even know how to put this outfit together!! Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

I dislocated my shoulder yesterday and the e.r. doc reduced it. I have ortho appt. tomorrow for check up. I also have Hills Sach Lesion. I have never injured myself before and am wondering how long before I will likely be able to return to work? I work in a fast paced environment which is primarily on computer.

I know the ortho will tell me tomorrow but I've seen all sorts of conflicting info online so was wondering if anyone has personal experience? I am in my mid 30's and injured my arm while biking. I am taking my meds as prescribed and am in a sling 95% of the day.

I am wanting to play my streaming radio from my BlackBerry Storm through my car speakers but I don't see an aux in jack on the front plate of my stereo. Would it be located anywhere else?

Also, if I don't have one what is the best recommendation for getting my Storm music to play over my car speakers?

Ok so a quick dumb question... which one is the lighter shade? I have somewhere to go tonight and don't want to apply the darker one on accident and look way too dark. I will probably need to mix them but will need more light than dark.

I never knew how important your credit was and paid little regard to paying my bills on time when I was younger. I have been repairing my credit for the past 3 years now and have had several loans (2 small personal loans as well as being a cosigner on one vehicle and the single borrower on my car) open and have never been late.

I would like to apply for a credit card but am concerned I'll be turned down and the hit on my credit report will cause negative consequences. I have heard of the secured cards and will get one sometime but am wondering what are my chances of getting an unsecured card? I have a fairly decent ($40,000) income and have been steadily employeed with same company for 3 years.

Would it be okay to apply for a card now or should I continue to wait and let my score get better? It's been steadily improving at a very slow pace!
