My female just gave birth today. Originally it was her a small male and a big male. I know they are heard animals so they love being with each other. But when my female had her pups today my big male started chirp/screaming when they were born. Then started attacking my other male. I have read that males will become very quiet and still when a female gives birth so this stunned me. I was afraid he'd hurt the babies (which he is the father of) so i took both males out and separated them. A few hours later i reintroduced them and he attacked my male again then humped my female. Whats going on here? He isn't hurting the babies.

She will probably be having her first litter of puppies this week, and everytime she urinates some slime remains hanging from her vagina and a weird smell comes from there also. Any guess of y this is? Is it just natural since she will be having her pups soon>

She is about a week from her due date, my husband thinks it'll send her into pre term labor. I don't think it will but trying to be safe with her. Before i get rants about BYBs, she went into heat earlier then expected and my dumb *** mother in law put her male outside with my female when i was not home. As soon as the 8 weeks are passed after she gives birth she is getting spayed I do not wish for her to become pregnant again. And we have found loving homes for her puppies. My daughter is 2 and has had 3 ear infections just since january. Her father and my brother, her uncle, both have bad ear problems and it looks like shes following in their foot steps. When can i ask for the tubes to be put in her ears, I hate having to see her in pain every 2 months.

I have a very tame and loving pit bull, who in about 2 weeks will give birth to her first litter. I have heard that it is best if i was with her to make sure no complications arise. But i have also heard that a mother dog can attack u if u get to close. I am her main caregiver and the one she listens to, so it would just be me. Should i be with her?
