For those uninformed people claiming a 9 year old getting pregnant is 'impossible'... go check out the youngest mother recorded. She was 5 and had begun menstruating at 3.

Personally, I think she should have an abortion. Carrying a baby to term that young heavily inflates the risk of death or serious permanent injury. Of course, what I think really doesn't matter. In the case of a girl this young, the parents will be deciding it, not you or her.

I am going to go on the assumption that this is a legit question and everything you have said is the truth.
1. You know the sex of the baby so it is too late for an abortion.
2. Give the baby up for adoption. There are many people who want to adopt. Keeping this baby will scar your sister for life. She will have to grow up telling her son that he is her brother. She is young, she can get past this if she does not see the child every day of her life.
3. If you have relatives who live in another state send your sister to live with them until after the baby is born, she does not need schoolmates and their families knowing about this.
4. CALL THE POLICE AND HAVE THE 16 year old boy prosecuted for RAPE.
5. Your Mom needs to spend more time with your little sister, she needs parental supervision.

First of all, get rid of your best friend. What kind of 16 year old sleeps with a 9 year old?

Second the adoption/abortion thing is up to her. I know it is hard to make that kind of decision at her age but she is the one that has to live with the choice. I dont see how she would be able to take care of the baby. I am totally voting for the adoption because I have a son that I adopted 2 years ago and he is the joy of my life.

As her older sibiling you should be a little more responsible and clear with your friends about what they do with your sister because your 16 year old friend having sex with your 9 year old sister is just wrong!! YES she should have an abortion!!! Although the earlier she goes in to have an abortion the better for her and less likely it will cause any permanent damage to her so she can still have kids in the future if she decides to do that. They might not even perform an abortion on a child that young even if she has parental consent because she simply may be just too young! I would definitely check into that ASAP first.
