They are not prepared at all!
When (not IF!) in Italy there will be an big eruption of Mt. Vesuvius or Mt. Etna, a tsunami will form that will hit the Mediterranean coast of Spain with full force causing incredible damage and number of victims.
When you see how Spain is building on the shore line of the Mediterranean, you know that they don't even acknowledge the possibility of such a disaster.
In other coastal countries it is the same.
